  1. Fingers crossed for Bossy, or anyone with the Big C. As a kid in the '70s, I waited many times to see the Sabres get off busses and after practice. I was always shocked to see professional athletes, especially my "heroes," smoking like chimneys. The French Connection, in particular. It was a French Canadian thing, as all the Montreal guys did the same.
  2. Can't wait for then next mock draft. It has much more value than speculation about trading Diggs.
  3. Next up is Bonnie Raitt in Syracuse in two weeks. Herbie Hancock in June.
  4. De'Vondre Campbell's 6'3" 232 lbs. So one good year in the weight room and he'd be right there.
  5. They're just closing until next fall, while it's remodled. It sounds like it will a nice upgrade: "In addition to an expansion of the main second floor concert space, a first floor gathering area – with a new staircase and elevator leading to the second floor, a box office, a coatroom, a smaller stage and a bar – will fill the area that until recently was occupied by Club Marcella. Rounding out the renovations, a new patio, bar and gathering area will be constructed on the roof of the building. 6. It's silly season, where smoke and mirrors are all we hear about. If so, cool. But probably not.
  7. My 'wish list' is going up to the Commanders' #11 pick and getting Trent McDuffie, who to me would perfectly fit the Buffalo Bills player template. That may be why Beane was so pissed at Washington over the McKissic cluster****. He thought he had a good working relationship with that FO and could work future deals with them.
  8. They're not going up to #2 or #3, which is where Hamilton is stated to go right now. https://www.nfl.com/news/cynthia-frelund-2022-nfl-mock-draft-2-0-lions-nab-kyle-hamilton-at-no-2-zero-qbs
  9. The new stadium funding is ground up and in the freezer. All the complaining is just a kabuki dance--"you give me money for my pet cause, I'll give you money for yours." Everyone wins and can brag about how effective they are.
  10. Sure, you're going to watch the game anyway, no matter what. But announcers are part of the game, too. They can make it a better, more memorable experience, and the best ones do. Not just TV, but radio as well. What would Buffalo sports be without Van Miller and Rick Jennerette? They're both a big part of my favorite sports memories.
  11. They encouraged tapers because there was no way in hell you'd remember it if you were at the show.🤪 .
  12. That explains why I didn't get it either. 😛
  13. And how do we know what the game plans were in those weeks? Like I said, opposing teams were adjusting to what the Bills were doing, and Daboll / Josh had to re-adjust from that. You can look at 2020 gamelogs and see equivalent stretchs where he was involved less. And in others, more. That's just the way it goes, based on the matchups and game situations.
  14. Fripp wants the audience to enjoy the music and live in the moment. Not sit there and be focused on taking pics and other things. He makes an announcement at the beginning of the show that people can take all the pics they want after the concert ends. The band will pose for everyone who wants to snap photos of them, and the band will do likewise as they like to have pics of the audience. But not during the concert. It's a really mature, 'music first' attitude IMO. It bugs the hell out of me when so many in the crowd spend the concert focused on their phone at the expense of what's happening right there in front of them.
  15. If you have a chance, don't (unless it's really a bucket list thing). Fagen can't sing anymore. Saw them two years ago, was really disapointed in his vocals. Gave him a second chance and went to another show, he was even worse. He just couldn't hit notes and would stop singing in the middle of a verse. Even he seemed bummed at times through his body language. The band was great, as always, but it really put a kabosh on the shows for me.
  16. Listen to the "Music is Our Friend" 2021 tour CD and see if you think that! 😇
  17. How so? His YPC was down, but I can't think of any stretch of games where he was inneffective. Cole's 4.5% drop rate in 2021 was a lot better than Isaiah's 11.5%, probably a factor in the coaching staff's decision to keep him on the field. As previous posters have mentioned, defenses were scheming more to take away the intermediate routes in 2021. Beasley's Average Depth of Target went from 7.8 in 2020 to 5.6 in 2021, meaning teams were putting more pressure on his routes and making Josh throw the ball quicker. That's what happens in the NFL--DC's adapt. I think Daboll also adapted late in the year, as his Yards Per Target rose over the final four games, including the playoffs (with the KC game being exceptional). I'll miss CB, and think McKenzie has big shoes to fill. I hope he can step up and be a 60%-plus snap count player like Beasley was.
  18. And yet he missed one game over the past two years. Availabily is a huge ability.
  19. Bupkis. Real musicians, regardless of age, can run rings around many, many of today's 'artists.' Took my son to see King Crimson last summer and it was one of the best concerts we've ever attended.
  20. What are you saying? That if the team that wins the coin toss scores, they should just let the other team score as well, so they can then get the ball back and win it on the third posession?? 😵
