  1. Good football player. Adds a lot of versatility to the mix. I can even see him used in the slot occasionally on bunch 3-WR sets. 'Movement' may be the watchword in this year's offense. A more athletic OL. Better 3rd down passing option at RB. Accentuating what Josh does best--move around in the pocket, work off script. I'd love to see another WR added in FA or early in the draft (Christian Watson, please) to keep the offense humming. .
  2. Not a fan of Shenault. He was a guy without a position in college and has regressed as a WR in JAX.... https://primetimesportstalk.com/2022/01/17/jacksonville-jaguars-2021-season-recap/ Biggest Disappointment – Laviska Shenault Shenault was primed for a breakout season as he was an unpolished receiver coming into the NFL. Entering his second season, Shenualt was expected to take a jump in running routes, and be more included as a gadget player. While the coaching staff failed to put Shenault into a position to succeed, he did himself no favors as his route running did not improve and his hands got worse. The concern going forward is now the drops, where Shenault had ten of them on 95 targets. A 13 percent drop rate may seem bad, but what was worse is many of the drops killed drives or were on critical plays.
  3. Shouldn't have torn up that PCL and ACL's. Damn, shame he went and did that. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2021/11/30/22810218/harrison-phillips-has-been-playing-with-a-torn-pcl-this-year-buffalo-bills-defensive-tackle
  4. That lines up with Tannyhill (immobile) playing QB rather than Mariota (mobile) before him. Just a thought. I'd say Josh is in that later category, not the former.
  5. Brady may decide to retire again with all the OL losses 😅
  6. Relative Athletic Scores, Bills OL Spencer Brown Tackle 10.00 Tommy Doyle Tackle 9.90 Ryan Bates Guard 9.57 Mitch Morse Center 9.54 Dion Dawkins Tackle 7.90 Ike Boettger Guard 7.18 Cody Ford Guard 6.33 Daryl Williams Guard 3.31 Jon Feliciano Guard 3.20
  7. The coaches know whether McKenzie can play the slot. That he didn't take snaps away from Beasley speaks loud and clear. Especially in the playoff games. It will be up to Dorsey to scheme up McKenzie's role this year. It won't be the same as what Beasley provided, and that's cool -- if Lil Dirty steps up and shows he can be a full-time player rather than a gadget / change-of-pace guy. I'm a bit worried about his durability, however. Another really under-appreciated quality Beasley brought to the table was his toughness--he took a lot of punishment and kept on playing. McKensie takes some hellacious hits and seems more prone to being a blue tent visitor.
  8. I did. He had one game in 2021 with 4 or more receptions. He's never had more than 30 receptions in a year as a Bill. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/McKeIs00.htm
  9. And yet, in the Kansas City playoff game Cole had 7 for 79 yards (11.3 YPC) and 3 first downs. He can stil play. McKenzie will have to prove he can be a full-time guy, which the Bills seem to be OK going forward with.
  10. Interesting, since he only had 30 receptions all season (26 regular season, 4 playoff)...
  11. Love 'Lil Dirty. But the Pats severe lack of depth at DB in that game (as well as the playoff game) had a LOT to do with that performance. McKenzie still has a lot to learn about the position, IMO. McBeane must feel that he's still growing as a WR, so I'll trust their judgement.
  12. Well, if you say so. Beasley's best skill--which seems to be really under-appreciated around here--was finding the holes in zone coverage and keeping the sticks moving. McKensie's a more dynamic player, but not as accomplished at that kind of outlet / hot-read / drive-extender play, IMO. It will be up to Dorsey to tweak the playbook a bit to accentuate 'Lil Dirty's strengths and not try to make him Beasley 2.0.
  13. Nothing to worry about here. He's just going to be a training camp leg. He can mentor a rookie punter and then be cut at the end of camp, with no guaranteed money or salary cap over hang.
  14. Nope. 34 years old and not a process guy.
  15. He was not great when he was traded. He was a good run blocker / average pass blocker who took too many penalties...
  16. Born in Rochester and moved to the Binghamton area when he was eight.
  17. Excellent. I'd really like to see him get more seam route opportunities like his TD in 2020.
  18. My guess would be Chandler Jones, given he's a Rochester boy who'd probably like to finish his career at home.
  19. Win-Win. Good for the Bills that KC will have a tougher path. Good that Seattle is in the NFC...
  20. LOL! It's more likely the Bills re-sign Harry and The Stadium Wall spends the next few years bitching about how he's overpaid and should be dumped...
  21. Wilson is everything we need Edmunds to be (and which he'll never achive). Instinctive, impactful and someone who makes plays behind the LOS, not six yards+ downfield.
  22. TSW's collective IQ goes down every year. This thread alone should shave a point or two off the 2022 mean...
  23. F' Sully. Niagara Gazette! Published five days a week! 10,500 daily circulation (my God, the Lockport Union-Sun has 1,000 more than that!)! May as well be the PennySaver!
