  1. Everyone keeps saying this but their schedule isn’t a cakewalk in my opinion. They will have plenty of games that are tough.
  2. The part I bolded is what Nate Geary and Joe Marino were both saying. They think McDermott and Brady are having Allen throw to him to try to get him going early in the game but they agreed with you that is isn’t working and Coleman isn’t good enough to just throw 50/50 balls to him and he needs to not be on the field as much. They were basically saying Palmer, Kincaid, Cook all need to be on the field for more snaps than they are getting. Saying the best receivers are only getting on the field for like 50% of the snaps along with Cook (maybe a little more) but all 3 need to be on the field for as many snaps as possible instead of forcing Coleman and others in there when they aren’t doing anything.
  3. Once Kincaid wasn’t playing and Palmer got hurt he didn’t have that many options according to people who said they watched the All 22. Kincaid and Palmer and Shakir are the only ones that can get separation. Once there was no Kincaid or Palmer all the Falcons had to do was take away Shakir and it was over. Allen’s main problems in the game were the interceptions he threw. He obviously didn’t have a good game but it’s mostly because the receivers he was left with can’t separate and Joe Brady didn’t have the team ready for what the Falcons did blitz wise. So plenty of blame to go around.
  4. Their point was if it was between the offense and defense then go the offensive route because the defense is a lost cause at this point. I think they were referring to all the people saying the Bills should trade for Safety help or secondary help and basically telling them that isn’t an option because of how McDermott runs his defense so there is no one they could bring in that could learn where they need to be at certain times or spots quick enough to help the defense. They said this, not me to be clear. 😀
  5. I watched another show after that with Joe Marino and Nate Geary. He had Nate on as a guest. Not sure if you watched that one yet but they said on that show there is definitely a separation problem and that the only 2 people getting any type of separation are Kincaid and Palmer and sometimes Shakir. They both were talking about how their was a game plan to go downfield to Palmer more in the Atlanta game but he got hurt first play of the 2nd qtr and at that point they had no Kincaid or Palmer so all Atlanta had to do was take away Shakir. They both said the biggest problem is that Kincaid when healthy along with Palmer and Cook aren’t on the field for enough plays and that they are playing Coleman in the wrong spot but keep putting him on the field to try to get him going but it isn’t working because Coleman can’t get open and they just need to start playing the guys that can get open more snaps when they are healthy. They also said trying to get a safety or another guy for defense won’t work in the middle of the year because they don’t have enough time to learn McDermotts system and that right now Rapp is playing horrible and they would rather see Poyer out there because he at least knows where to be and you can’t count on that with Rapp right now. They said the secondary is not playing well because the CB’s can’t trust the Safeties to be where they should be so the CB’s are over compensating for it and it is allowing teams to get wide open receivers. They were saying they would rather the Bills just go get another receiver to help the offense even more and to try to just outscore everyone because that is the best route to go with this team because there isn’t a fix for the defense mid season.
  6. The Bills have their own problems right now but thought this was interesting anyways According to a study Chiefs receive 45% more roughing the passer penalties and 32% more defensive holding penalties going their way than any other team in the league from 2023-25. At least that is what this video tells me.
  7. I completely agree with you. I know they have no clue for sure if the Bills will turn it around or not. Like I said if you take the Bills right now just based on those numbers I posted you have a 5% chance of winning but you are only getting 6 to 1 odds which is terrible. So I agree with you. Exactly doesn’t mean a whole lot other than you do have a greater than 50% chance of making the AFC championship game. That is probably the only thing you could get out of it. Still doesn’t guaranty anything though.
  8. Odds on favorites after NFL week 6 to go on to win the Super Bowl the last 20 years. 2005 Colts) lost to Pittsburgh in playoffs 2006 Colts ) and Bears. Colts won Super Bowl 2007 New England) lost in Super Bowl to Giants 2008 Giants) lost to Philly in divisional round 2009 Eagles) lost wildcard to Dallas 2010 Colts) lost wildcard to Jets 2011 Packers) lost divisional to Giants 2012 Pats) Lost AFC Championship to Ravens 2013 Denver) Lost Super Bowl to Seattle 2014 Denver, Seattle) Seattle lost to the Pats in Super Bowl 2015 Packers, Pats) Pats lost to Denver AFC championship 2016 Vikings) Missed the playoffs after 5-0 start. 2017 Pats ) Lost Super Bowl to Eagles 2018 Kansas City) Lost in AFC Chmapionship to Pats 2019 Pats, Saints) Pats lost wildcard to Titans 2020 Kansas City) Lost Super Bowl to Tampa Bay 2021 Buffalo) Lost 13 second game 2022 Buffalo) Lost divisional to Cincinnati 2023 49ers) Lost Super Bowl to KC 2024 Kansas City) Lost Super Bowl to Philly Conclusion : This is the Bills 3rd time in the last 5 years being favorites after week 6. Only one time did the odds on favorite after week 6 win it. The Colts in 2006-07 Teams made it to the Super Bowl 8 times. Losing 7 of the 8. Made it at least to AFC championship game 11 times. Only one team missed the playoffs. The Vikings. So you can make it to the Super Bowl but the odds you win it are only 5% based on this 20 year sample. So not likely to win it. You have over a 50% to make it to the AFC championship game then you are just hoping you can win it and win the Super Bowl with things falling your way those 2 games. I never said it has anything to do with making a good or bad bet my friend. I’m just telling you what they have as odds right now and as of now they still think Buffalo will right the ship per se. Doesn’t mean they are going to win it by any means. It is definitely a bad bet if you take Buffalo or KC for that matter. Only one team has won the Super Bowl after being an odds on favorite after week 6 the last 20 years. So you are getting a 5% chance of winning your wager. So I do agree with you. I didn’t maybe explain it as well as I could have.
  9. The betting “public” has nothing to do with it. The oddsmakers are the ones who adjusted the lines. Their was some professional money that came in on the Chiefs. Public money doesn’t move lines 99% of the time. Only professional money does. The oddsmakers as of right now still think the Bills will get the ship righted and be there at the end with the Chiefs. So people should probably quit jumping off of a cliff over a couple of games. Especially with the injuries and suspended players. Also I don’t want to hear from anyone trying to tell me how it works since this is what I have been doing for over 30 years and know exactly how it works and what moves lines and what doesn’t and how the inter workings of Sports Books actually work. Public money doesn’t do anything. The Sports Books don’t want 50/50 action on both sides of every spread (that’s the biggest myth in Sports betting ever) and many other things. Point is as of right now the oddsmakers think the Bills will be there at the end of the year along with the Chiefs. While the average fan is freaking out on this board. Now does that mean the Bills will stay up there? Nope. Have to see how they do back from the bye with more of their pieces back and how they respond. Until then I wouldn’t go jumping off any cliffs because of a couple of losses.
  10. Maybe but I think if Palmer doesn’t get hurt and Kincaid plays the Bills would have moved the ball a lot better and won last night. Brady has been calling bad games though. His jet sweeps to tight ends and the one last night on a 4th and 1 were both back breakers in both games the last 2 weeks.
  11. I am not sure but I went back and looked at a couple of threads from last year at this same time after the Houston game. Where the Bills had just got their butt kicked by Baltimore 35-10 and then lost to Houston and Allen was 9-30 passing or whatever it was. People complaining about the exact same thing at that time as they are now. Nobody is getting open. Joe Brady sucks. Some people blaming Allen, some blaming Brady, some blaming Beane or McDermott. Exact same scenarios. Bills went out and got Cooper after that and the offense opened up. Just from his presence on the field. I do think it looked like the Bills wanted to go downfield more last night to Palmer but then he got hurt and after that, with no Kincaid as well, the Bills offense looked bad. Before Palmer got hurt though they were moving the ball and Palmer had just got a first down for about 10 yards on that throw he was injured. Not sure if they need to go get someone else now or if Palmer and Kincaid will be well enough to play. Guess my point is that this all is the exact same thing that happened last year at this exact time then the Bills went on a run and got to the AFC championship game. Have to have guys available to play though. If the Bills keep having so many injuries on both sides of the ball it won’t matter what Beane or McDermott or Brady does because they can’t fill every hole if everyone keeps getting hurt. Problem is Bills always seem to have massive injuries on usually the defensive side of the ball at playoff time. Bills have looked a little off all year though.
  12. Who is he supposed to throw to oh wise one? Joe Brady has sucked calling plays for awhile now. With a bad play caller and no wide receivers he can’t do everything.
  13. Outside of the 4th quarter against Baltimore this team hasn’t looked good all year. Guess they looked okay against the jets the worst team in the league but other than that they have looked bad.
  14. You are a Pats fan. Every post you make is anti Buffalo. You should leave the board or admit you aren’t a Buffalo fan.
  15. The Pats are going to have their hands full with the Saints this weekend. Spread is Pats -3.5. Saints should cover the spread and have a decent chance of winning outright. Pats just won a big game on a Sunday night now go on the road against a Saints team who isn’t that bad. Outside of a bunch of special teams blunders and turnovers in the Seattle game they have been in every other game. I think the Saints have a great shot to beat them. Should be a close game either way.
  16. Apologize for What exactly? So because we didn’t purposely lose the turnover battle to the Saints it caused us to lose it to the Pats? So now it’s all of the message boards fault for not agreeing that we need to just give the ball away on purpose for the fun of it? Let me explain something a little genius here: Whether we purposely lost the turnover battle to the Saints or not wouldn’t have any outcome on if we lost the turnover battle to the Patriots. We would have just given the Saints the ball on purpose, because according to you it is a “genius” idea. Those same plays in the Pats game would have still happened just like they did. So again What is anyone supposed to apologize for?
  17. I don’t have any problem with everyone eats. I think it makes the offense a lot better if it is run correctly. The problem is Joe Brady has handcuffed Allen more than anything and he wants this to be a run first offense by his play calls. So he is holding Josh back. The team has looked flat the entire season except for the 4th quarter against the Ravens and the Jets game. At some point I have to consider maybe they aren’t just flat but they aren’t as good as I was expecting them to be. Unless they improve I don’t see anything as of yet that leads me to believe they will win a Super Bowl this year. They need to pull their head out of their rear ends and start playing up to their capabilities along with the coaching to quit holding the offense back. Just my opinion. Watching the offense has become frustrating though and the defense is even worse. Yet they are still 4-1.
  18. The fact Cleveland would trade him to a team in their own division tells you just how much they are concerned about it. They must know Flacco won’t help them one bit. Flacco behind that O-line is not going to be anything to fear.
  19. Im a professional sports handicapper I know what they mean. Right now at this moment the Books have Buffalo favored to win the Super Bowl. They can lose there next couple of games and their odds will drop a lot. I’m completely aware of what they are. I was just posting them for information. Nothing more.
  20. On another note Even after the loss last night Buffalo is still the favorite to win the Super Bowl. +475 Eagles are still 2nd at +700.
  21. Thanks for bringing this back up. Even with the loss Allen is still favored to win the MVP after 5 weeks. It helped having Mahomes lose tonight as he had moved up to 2nd or 3rd depending on the Sports book. Allen is +135 at fanduel and +140 at DK. Mahomes was 2nd in both but he will probably drop now after the 3rd loss.
  22. Sorry man! I know it hurts bad. Had to put my dog down exactly one month ago after 18.5 years of life. Hurts and sucks so I understand. Im a person of faith so that’s how I help myself get through it. But sending good and happy wishes and blessings your way and peace in this tough time.
  23. No. He was okay. He didn’t have any touchdowns. He had the one good play when he was falling down that was about it. Otherwise he just looked like every other average QB in the NFL.
  24. Lots of reasons the Bills lost last night mainly all self inflicted. But two main plays you can basically say lost the game were Keon Coleman fumbling the ball in the Bills own red zone giving them a free 3 points and then Allen throwing the interception inside the 10 yard line taking 3 away from the Bills. I still think the Patriots had to play the very best they can play to win and the Bills played a very bad game for their standards. Honestly the Bills have seemed like they have been somewhat flat a lot of this year. Also Brady’s play calling isn’t my favorite. Think he runs the ball to much , especially on 1st and 2nd down. But I guess it doesn’t matter what I think. Just hope they bounce back and start playing up to their ability and look better when those suspended and injured guys get back. also of note the last 15 regular season games Allen has played the Bills have scored 30 or more points in 13 of them. The 2 they didn’t were both against the Patriots.
  25. Yeah because the Bills didn’t play their best and New England played as well as they can play. I’m not worried about the Patriots at all. It’s one game. Buffalo will beat them at New England.
