  1. I don't think there's any way we can keep both Zack Moss and Duke Johnson (though they both looked good in preseason) If we can get a draft pick for either one, that would be a win.
  2. I don't believe anything Belichick says. They have a young qb who should improve significantly entering year 2. They added Davante Parker. They have a very good offensive line (as usual) The combo of Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson is going to wear out opposing defenses. They have lost stars on defense, but Belichick always finds a way to put his young players in a position to be successful. They were leading the AFC East for a significant portion of last season. Belichick is a master of deception on and off the field: "Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak "  Sun Tzu
  3. They still have a lot of great players on defense and good skill position players on offense (Corey Davis, Elijah Moore, Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall). They just need Zach Wilson to develop and stay healthy. My bet would be teams like the Seahawks/Falcons/Texans/Commanders/Lions since they might be tanking for a qb next draft.
  4. He rolled out of the pocket, appeared to take a helmet-to-helmet hit and then the defensive end landed on top of him pretty hard. I'm not sure what the specific injury was.
  5. It would be insane if he's not suspended for this. A fine is not enough for assaulting people at work. The excuse that football is a violent sport is BS.
  6. The only way we sign OBJ is if we have multiple long-term injuries at the wide receiver position at mid-season
  7. I thought Hart looked pretty solid this preseason, but he played against mainly 2nd stringers. I'm hoping that Kromer's scheme may suit his strengths better. I feel ok with Hart and Quessenberry as our backup tackles considering Josh survived a season of Cody Ford at right tackle.
  8. Having a guy who can at least be serviceable at guard and tackle is highly valuable and may mean that we can keep an extra D-lineman active.
  9. Kick/Punt coverage has been terrible for most teams in preseason. They're constantly swapping around players including rookies who have never played special teams before. I expect our unit to be more competent for the regular season.
  10. Khalil Shakir and James Cook will be big factors in our offense. The only question is who do they steal snaps from. I thought Joe Giles-Harris looked great and may even challenge Dodson for the third linebacker role. Ja'Marcus Ingram had a rough game and likely eliminated himself from roster spot contention.
  11. I would be thrilled with this. We need to keep Hodgins, Blackshear, and Benford because they will never make it to the practice squad without being snatched up by another team.
  12. It's striking how much better this message board is than most other NFL ones. Occasionally I'll check one to see the fans' reaction after a big trade/signing and they're either inactive or incredibly toxic. The mods do a very good job of keeping this messge board above board.
  13. Those are for handling footballs after they've re-entered Earth's atmosphere when Araiza punts them.
  14. The only Bills player who stood out in a negative way was cb Ja'marcus Ingram. Every time a big play was allowed in the passing game, the man in coverage was #46
  15. Blackshear is too good to release for a purely special teams rb. He will get snatched up immediately if we try to stash him on the practice squad.
  16. If every member here chips in $100 we can make this the Two Bills Drive party mansion 😂
  17. Brian Moorman so we could unite the punt gods! But I would probably take either Andy Levitre or Terrance McGee because of our lack of quality depth at those positions. I'd be curious how Stevie Johnson and Fred Jackson would perform in our offense.
  18. People with millions of dollars to spend on lawyers and settlements can avoid spending any time in jail for things that would put you or me away for life.
  19. He was mainly a zone corner who seemed like a perfect fit for our system. I think injuries were the main reason for his fall. It looks like he will be ready for the regular season though.
  20. Considering how bad he looked in preseason, I was looking forward to seeing Von put a hurt on him that no masseuse could fix.
  21. I really wanted Andrew Booth after McDuffie was off the board. I think the Elam pick indicates we will play a lot more man coverage this year.
  22. It's also possible that Jaquon Johnson, Damar Hamlin, or even Nick McCloud is ready to replace Poyer next year.
  23. Elam's tackling is one of his biggest weaknesses, so I don't think safety would suit him. I think we keep both active on gameday and rotate them situationally, using Benford more in zone coverage and Elam in press man coverage.
