Roll Call - Houston Texans Version
billsfanmiamioh replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
I had that one pegged as well and even had flights and hotels booked but had to back off as we had too much other stuff going on leading up to that weekend. We own a condo in northwest Montana and plan was to go out there and do a bit of maintenance for a couple days then catch the direct flight over to Seattle then direct flight back to Cbus the day after the game. Would have worked out nice. Oh well, that’ll be the plan for next time! -
Roll Call - Houston Texans Version

That block party before the playoff game was a blast. Aside from the result of the game, everything else about the experience that weekend was great. One of my favorite away game experiences and the Houston fans were great. The walk across the lot back over to the Holiday inn was pretty lonely though…Have fun everyone who will be there! -
They did it at the opener too.

Got 2 or 4 available in section 109 row 27. Close to aisle. Have them listed online but happy to avoid fees on both ends. $150 each or best offer!

Nope you’re right he was close to being out of the league due to booze issues. -

Von Miller proves the doubters wrong

This is exactly how I felt too. I was there and watched him a lot. He moved better than last year but that’s not saying much. Mostly ineffective and many times did absolutely nothing / got swallowed up. Questionable effort on many plays as well. Thankfully he restructured his contract but it will be good to get him totally off the books. -
Almost identical dimensions. I’m at 40K gallons, had to add 800 lbs of salt for initial startup this year! Back was feeling it that day!

Where does he live? I pay 1/2 of that to have mine done

Last week, he told me that was the plan! (True story!) We were on vacation and i was getting a drink at an outdoor bar. Looked over and saw someone standing nearby that looked very familiar. Wasn’t 100% sure and didn’t want to bother him so I didn’t say anything at the bar. A few minutes later he walked by where we were sitting and I could see it was definitely him so I gave him a “hey coach” as he was walking by. He stopped and we ended up chatting for a couple minutes. Told him as a lifelong Sabres fan was happy to have him back to hopefully turn things around! He said that was the plan and that he had to get back to work soon! Nice guy and totally not what I was expecting to see at 6pm on a random Wednesday in northwest Montana!

Even just a few new, decent hotels and restaurants would be a step up. We usually stay at one of the Hamburg exit hotels off the 90 but the only close post game option to go have a few beers and some food after cleaning up is JP Fitzgerald’s (which I like). I’ll never understand why Waterstone grill and a bunch of other places aren’t open on game day Sundays at least. As an out of town season ticket holder it would be awesome to have a decent hotel and restaurants within walking distance to hang out at and watch the late games after cleaning up and re grouping.

When my wife was pregnant we did a big circle road trip starting and ending in Vegas. Drove through St George / Zion and wow, it was beautiful. Had a Camaro convertible so got some great views of the scenery. Have not been back but it’s on the list to get back and actually spend some time there hiking. We loved that trip. After passing through Zion we spent nights in Page, AZ and did a boat tour below the glen canyon dam. Continued onto South Rim area of the Grand Canyon for a couple days then shot down to Sedona for 3-4 days at a really nice resort outside town in Boynton Canyon. Shot over to Jerome for a day trip then back to Vegas with a stop at the Hoover dam. I love everything out west and would be content to stay out there forever driving around and exploring. We have a small condo out near Glacier National Park so that’s the plan for retirement (assuming the world hasn’t fully imploded by then).

Still have all 10 up top and down below, successful weekend! Do have a few mortars left though…😈

PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion

For anyone that’s already had their appointment, I have a question re: the “down payment” option (with remainder paid in monthly installments until stadium opening). I know I saw that people are paying 20% upfront, but is that simply the minimum? Is the only option 20% down, or would I have the ability to pay any amount over 20% upfront and spread rest out monthly until 2026? My window won’t be until “late this year” but just trying to have a plan in place so any info would be appreciated! -
Southwest added 5 flights for Bills away games
billsfanmiamioh replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’d take SW over American any day. Say what you want about them, but I fly SW quite a bit and Im usually at my destination when I’m supposed to be. About all you can hope for these days.- 26 replies

My wife grew up with goldens so technically this his her 4th and it’s just my first (although I had labs growing up). Ours is very good overall and your typical sweetheart, but she was naughty as a puppy about chewing the area rugs and now that she’s a bit older she’ll ***** food off a plate (or hand of a little one) if it’s at her level 🤦🏻♂️. Swat to the snout doesn’t even phase her, she’ll gladly accept the punishment for the prize 😂. That Vizsla is a great looking dog. Don’t think I’ve ever known anyone that had one.

I still obviously follow all the big storylines as well but I agree I’m less neurotic about it compared to the drought years. The draft used to be like our superbowl because it seemed like the only hope. I’d pretty much watch the entirety of it and would always catch each of our picks. This year I’m not sure I even saw a single Bills pick “live”. I much prefer this new way.
