  1. I'm confused. In the article it said he called his mother-in-law right after the draft, but then the article said he met his wife a couple of weeks into his Buffalo stay.
  2. I get to see him at the end of july. Really looking forward to it. I've got his album and it's pretty smokin'
  3. ask @PromoTheRobot how he is....he either saw him a couple of weeks ago in Philly or decided to go back to his Air BnB instead, i can't remember what he did. But the kid is the real deal
  4. While I agree with your sentiment, let me add my own personal clarification. Grow up to the point where you know how to behave in situations that might require you grow up(ie, financial, professional, emotional) but always have the heart of a child and have fun in life. Don't have too many regrets no matter how insignificant something may seem in the grand scheme of things, if you geek out over it, geek out til you can't geek out no more. Life is way too short to not have fun, but it's also long enough that you do need to adult a few times in your life
  5. Anyone catch the 2 wrestling series' on Viceland TV, Dark Side of the Ring and The Wrestlers? One is about stories of old wrestlers and events and the other is a modern look at the independent circuits. They are both really entertaining and it seems that there's still a big base of professional wrestling fans still out there
  6. from percentage perspective for me
  7. What a great typo for this article
  8. Fake news, no way exiled's response would be so brief
  9. He did Budweiser or Miller ads back in the 80's. That's how I got to know about him
  10. I saw him open for George Carlin in Buffalo in the early 80’s. I thought he was in his 60’s back then. His official website listed his age at 129?. Never knew he was living in such close proximity to me.
  11. I've been chatting with good old Focker on Twitter about Jeff Buckley, then heard an interview today with his former manager. What a shame he left so early. He probably had so much music left to share.
  12. Gabrielle Union shore is purty
  13. By the way, came across this twitter user the other day, something you need to tell us?
  14. @row_33 @Bill from NYC, et al, check out this article from GQ about the Weir Wolf https://www.gq.com/story/bob-weir-grateful-dead-profile?fbclid=IwAR0cPqfKtyIYWvd3g1atutK1TOA_fO97rF84CFFml4YxE7lLewj9gYIepBE

  16. what? no candlebox???? that list is worthless.....
  17. I know it's no where close to what it used to be, but Dead & Company have been awesome these past few years, each tour they open up the catalog a bit more and they meld a lot more. It's nice to have the music still out there on stage.
  18. Sadly it was time for Jerry to go. He did what he did, couldn't have expected more out of him, he stepped aside to let a relatively younger group carry on the music for him.. Now Brent on the other hand, he had so much more to add to the legacy of the Dead and himself, would have loved to have had him stick around for a bit longer, but I am thankful we got the '89 summer tour with him
  19. Is 35 too young? If not then add Jaco Pastorious to the list. Was Gram Parsons mentioned?
  20. June is awesome, for without June, there'd be no Poojer!!!?
  21. 13 time convicted felon... I guess he's pretty stupid
