  1. This game scares me. Right now Buffalo is one of the 'darlings' of the league because of the last 3 weeks. Chip Kelly is a gunslinger of a coach, CK is a gunslinger of a qb. They need a signature win and right now, Buffalo is that team. I'm very glad it's in Buffalo, that's about the only thing that puts me at ease. Buffalo needs to play smart.
  2. That's the best way to cook brats. Simmer them in beer/water mixture, onions for about 15 minutes. If they boil, they might burst. Then grill when you're ready
  3. this is absolutely ridiculous and shows how idiotic the media can be, he was being drawn and quartered 3 weeks ago as the worst coach in the nfl since kay stephenson, now all of a sudden he's the best ever???? the media seems to love to throw things out there in a kind of blind squirrel type of thing. he's always been a very good coach, but sometimes in some professions, very good people aren't given the time necessary at one spot to build and prove their value.
  4. there is a random english pub in the philly suburbs that has beef on weck, turns out the owner is from Buffalo, but it's the last place i would have expected to find it on the menu....fwiw, their scotch eggs are amazing http://www.thewhiptavern.com/twt_lunch.html
  5. i read this earlier in the week and thought it was a great idea, Briles did a great job at Baylor, nothing wrong with bringing in people that have had success to act as a second set of eyes
  6. Great interview until he got to the Go Hokies bull ****....GO ORANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. "Might have to get super f**ked up the night before so I don't wake up on purpose"
  8. i wrote my junior year(?) high school(1979-80) american lit term paper on Dylan. We had to pick an american author. B+ bitches!!!!!
  9. WTF....read the rules of M.U.T.T.
  10. Just saw a show last night that definitely ranks among the top. Lake Street Dive who are amazing on their own, Rachel Price can sing like nobody's business and, at the risk of jeopardizing my future presidential aspirations, is one sexy woman . The opening act turned out to be the biggest and most pleasant surprise i have had musically in a long time. Rubblebucket, a 7 piece, psychadelic, funk, dance band, i have never seen so much energy from a band. what an pleasant surprise of an evening all around.
  11. this makes me very sad :-(
  12. Whoa, what a double bill. Jason Isbel is just killing it these past couple years, so glad he was able to clean himself up, still would love to see him back with DBT for some awesomeness. Josh Ritters latest album is one of my favorites of the year, was supposed to see him this summer, but mother nature had other plans.
  13. Was at the Philly stop of that americanarama tour, blown away by wilco and mmj, like you, I left really early in the Dylan set
  14. I listened to the first 3 quarters on the new england Sirius feed, they were thoroughly disgusted by both the patriots play and the officials, that said, they gave Buffalo every bit of respect at how they simply beat the patriots down from the first play to the last.
  15. oh heck yeah, definitely an outdoor friendly band, like most good jam/hippy bands
  16. i've seen rusted root a couple times, always enjoyed their shows, but i do like the hippie scene
  17. i really hope he gets the help he needs, all that talent and the drugs, seemingly, have that strong a hold on him, I just couldn't imagine having to fight those kind of demons.
  18. Saw J Mascis last year, musically awesome, but it was as if he had no idea there was an audience. We are fans, treat us like we matter, or at least fake it for a couple hours
  19. when i was a kid, we didn't need video games, we took our parents keys and went out and got our own hookers, up hill, both ways....kids these days.....
  20. gimme your number, i can send you some videos i made(or will make when i get home)
  21. wow...too many best ones, couldn't do the list justice....worst was just this summer, wasn't the entire show, rather a single set for a festival. Father John Misty, who I have seen before and thought he was outstanding, went on what seemed to be a 30 minute rant about something, barely played 2 songs then walked off stage. the clip below is a small part of his rant, but you get the idea(the video is NSFW in parts because of language. among the best would be Sir Paul, SRV, Warren Zevon, Queen, Boston, the list would just go on and on and I could have a valid reason for picking each as the best http://thekey.xpn.org/2016/07/22/xpnfest-recap-father-john-misty-gets-lot-off-chest/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7clyQ7CFv0 I could have listed Weird Al as a favorite...he puts on an amazing show
  22. we got one last year, i am not a gamer, so i can't tell the difference, my kids love the xbox1, my biggest gripe is the lack of blanket backwards compatibility of the 360 games being able to be played on the 360. It has been a big hit in our family for whatever that is worth
