that punishes the other teams and yet again, the refs come away unscathed, as much as I dislike New England, why should Buffalo get that kind of advantage over them because of blown calls in a seattle game(for instance)

i get it that calls get blown all the time, and we have to move past them, but dammit, this one is just stuck in my head, thought i'd feel better this morning and be in a better mood, then realized i had that game last night AND the election today....thank goodness I have SU basketball to watch tonight....so help me if LeMoyne pulls out another win, I may find a ledge

regardless if it was offsides or personal foul, to blow the restarting of the play clock was simply inexcusable, they LITERALLY took 3 points off the board

for the record, i didn't consider Sherman's hit on carpenter dirty, he was playing through the play, it was a personal foul but no way do i consider it dirty. He saw the kicker going through the kicking motion so he continued to play

exactly and knowing you screwed up that call that badly, there is NO WAY you call that taunting call on woods. Absolutely he was taunting, then he realized what he did and made it seem like he was calling first down. that said, the defender swiped at the ball after the play was dead, woods clearly was doing that in reaction, but in light of the bad calls, the refs absolutely have to no-call that as a mea culpa. absolutely ridicuious.

didn't cost us the game, changed the landscape of the game completely. who knows what would have happened had that debacle not unfolded at the end of the half, but all of a sudden emotions come into play a hell of a lot more. we want to think players can shake off the last play, the last game etc, but they are no different than you and i except they have a different and more refined skill set. that botched call sent ripples that cannot be seen on paper. the game is hard enough without egregious mistakes like that hampering your progress
