  1. .Execute a good drive and score, just like they did, and the records will come. Just like it did. The notion that we call specific plays to get Allen the record is not important.
  2. Can we stop talking about the passing yardage record.
  3. The 3rd down passes have been lower percentage passes. Miami took away the short stuff on the last one.... they did a heavy blitz on the one prior. I big athletic TE with sure hands is needed.
  4. Never say never. Still learning and so much of punting is the luck of the bounce.
  5. And because we play them again next week the game plan will be Vanilla. Knox was open deep, looks like he stopped ???
  6. Why do I feel this is going to to a long and crappy game. good blitz and sack Edmunds.
  7. Schwartz gets a lot of love in Buffalo. Very good DC. Hiring Schwartz instead of Rex is an interesting thought, but we have the right guy now with McDermott.
  8. Yes, Becker will see action. Hey, why not see what he can do? I don’t know all the PS rules.
  9. I was hoping Kroft could play over half the snaps - with Gilliam out, Knox getting rest, and Smith blocking for the run.
  10. I guess I am an “elder statesmen”. I have heard a few versions of the story on how Bills Mafia came to be. I kind of wish it hadn’t become popular but it looks like it is here to stay for awhile. I know no harm is meant by the term. Growing up Italian-American, mafia is a word we just did not use, and a discussion best avoided. There are some great films our there that glorify that lifestyle but the reality of it is brutal, and not at all representative of our people. Being an oldie, I am not offended by many of the things that offend people today. Pop culture comes and goes, and evolves and devolves. Some clever beats and the reuse of “hey,hey- hey, hey” sounds cool. Combining the terms Bills Mafia, with Butcher and rap/hip hop culture, is not a great look for Buffalo but I have no doubt it will be appealing to many as it is modern and resonates with the younger crowd.
  11. The is one of the best post ever Shaw. You and I know what it felt like to win two AFL titles in a row. This Bills team can win it all. See the bold. I have thought about crushing the Pats* a lot. That is step 1.
  12. Indeed. He is the type of QB that can do well with a great defense and a strong running game. He is smart and makes effective use of his limited passing game. He is not good enough to carry an average team or make the players around him better.
  13. At the time it was just another low point in what should have been a bad reflection on him, instead it made us more of a laughing stock. I never cared for him but he got us to 9-7. Looking at him today his quitting is truly a bad reflection on him, and I doubt he ever gets a HC job again ... unless the Jets are interested?
  14. Losing to both Pats* and Dolphins, coupled with two Titans wins would have put us in 4th seed. I would love to try for the 2 seed but how bad would it look if we lose a key starter to play a home game in front of 6,000 fans. Worst case, a one hour flight to Pittsburgh doesn’t seem so bad.
  15. Miami 20 Bills 16 based on the assumption that Allen/Diggs play only part of first quarter.
  16. The 2007 Giants played their starters when they didn’t have to because old school Coughlin did not want to give the Pats* an undefeated regular season. The Giants did the right thing and they almost won that game. Good karma came to them as the Wildcard Giants made it to the SB against the 18-0 Pats* and won to ruin their undefeated season.
  17. Not saying our backups are bad so if can can get a lead then maybe we can protect it. I have not seen Barclay engineer a drive for a TD this year. Maybe he has but I don’t remember one. I’m not counting the long run by Motor against Denver.
  18. Yes, I say he was effective. He scored two last minute drives to keep them alive against LV. I call that effective. Not only that but he helps Tua on the sideline. I call that effective.
  19. Thankfully, the Pegula’s thought of this well in advance. Both are locked up to 2025.
  20. Yes indeed. Whichever team can execute the basics, force turnovers, and capitalize on them will win. That has been the Dolphins formula with Tua all along. Barclay throwing to Davis, McKenzie and Kroft is not going to scare anybody either.
  21. If we don’t play our starters then Miami can win with Tua. Allen and Diggs will get one quarter, if that. Same with Tre, Milano, Edmunds ...
  22. Yes, but the option to play Fitz if they needed a lift is gone. Fitz has been very effective in relief of Tua (see last week versus Raiders).
