  1. Lots of potential. Good signing. I wouldn’t be surprised if Beane scores again.
  2. I workout warrior with limited experience. I am sure there are many projected very good starters left. Pick a developmental guy later.
  3. He is a football player. Versatile and possibly a very good return man. He makes plays. I’m surprised he didn’t get offers? Tough environment for free agents for sure.
  4. Just this weekend I met a restaurant owner who is a former LA Ram/St Louis Ram front office exec. He retired on the teams last move back to LA and has a number of business interest in St Louis. We talked football for quite awhile and he had the comments about the Bills: - lots of people want to play with Josh Allen - Brandon Beane is a brilliant Executive - in his time with the Rams the Bills were a very common team on players “no trade” lists. He said he was friends with Polian and Marv and was very happy to see the Buffalo football become relevant again.
  5. I guess Etienne could be an impact player, or not. High reward but carries the RB risk. Mayfield could be ten year starter for all we know. If a CB is in their list of BPA that is the pick, although I wish we find a edge rusher.
  6. The Renegade Dance. LOL. His legacy is more of an assistant coach in the QB room, a team first guy with a great sense of humor, and he and his wife were contributors to the positive culture of the Bills players. Great guy. Class act. He did a lot for the community too. http://urbanctr.org/2020/04/21/barkley-family-shows-their-love-for-children-at-hope-house/
  7. For Bills maybe Bobby Burnett.
  8. Yes there are others on the roster. Sweeney is still promising and I hope he can take a big step to Knox’s level. Becker is the blocker type as you said. I see room to spend late round picks on another TE, assuming a higher TE prospect doesn’t fall to us.
  9. Even if Knox is the starter, they need to replace both Kroft and Smith. I think they will draft a TE too.
  10. I guess Hollister is also a good blocker. Need one TE that is like a second OT and can blow people up (like Lee Smith did).
  11. Is he at Applebee’s?
  12. I think the longer it takes the move leverage Beane gets.
  13. Kickoffs and punts are plays that have the largest yardage swing in one play. It pays to be good at them. I love when we force a team to start inside their 20, or when our punt team swings the field position in our favor. Many of the best ST players often start as cheap backups and then earn the right to modest contracts.
  14. I think our best TEs are Metzellars and Warlick. Keith McKeller had promise, but injuries and a short career.
  15. Rueben had terrible hands. Great athlete but he dropped a lot of balls.
  16. What you describe happens to Allen every week. New England especially is great at disguising their defense. Every team does that, even the Jets. The Bills problem on offense was execution, not play calling. They just did not play well. They missed chances to convert and they failed in the red zone. The Bills - Giants Super Bowl has been analyzed for 32 years. The Giants simplified their game to stop crossing routes and kept a lot of people in coverage. We failed to adjust and run the ball until it was too late.
  17. Not at all true. First of all Ford will play in place of Boettger. A lot hinges on Ford’s improvement. Second, Anytime you keep the same group together you improve cohesion. They will draft another O lineman that they can develop without being thrown in before he is ready.
  18. signing Milano, Williams and Feliciano means we can focus on other areas. Otherwise we were drafting LB and OT in the first three rounds. They in those rounds they can go BPA to upgrade CB, TE, DT, RB and OL via the draft. They can grab a speedy WR too. The only key area left is a big one. DE/Edge rush. The top will be gone at 30. After the top tier you have developmental DEs. The FA market is not great for DE and prices are usually high for pass rushers. . Maybe they swing a trade? Maybe the trade up, or down? I have confidence that Beane will bring in somebody to help.
  19. Nice signing. He can play all three interior OL positions and he adds a nasty streak to the group. He is like a body guard to Allen. Players want to be Buffalo Bills again.
  20. Well. GM of an NFL franchise is a pretty cool job.
  21. Good point and I did not consider that. Still, the direction of the franchise and the perception of the city are both trending up and both of them want to come back. I’ll take it.
  22. Wow. What great news. Brandon Beane and Coach McD. There is a reason why NFL Players want to stay on your team. Thank You.
  23. Beane will make an offer that we can afford to make. After all, Robert’s has made plays every year. If he gets a better deal and he goes, he goes down a very good contributor to very good Buffalo Bills teams. He might stay because he likes team, the city, and the Bills culture - so Beane should talk to him and make a reasonable offer. Good point. If it comes to it, McKenzie can also return punts and kicks.
  24. Saban might be better on game-day, maybe. Overall Levy was much more consistent, steadfast, dedicated and loyal. Saban was also very involved in player acquisition and building his teams. Levy worked with Polian and Butler.
