It was 10-6. Our defense was playing great. An attempt to punt and pin them inside the 10 would be conservative but would have a much higher percentage for success than the ill fated backwards pass option.
Our man in motion brought the defender into the play to make an easy read and a stop for a loss. I think our back had the option to either run or pass. It was a slow developing stupid play.
A single RB and two TE formation might have been a nice look. Could be a sneak, or a dive play to the RB, or a fake run and then throw to a tall TE target. Anything but what we did.
Yes. I agree with this too.
I get it, it’s a passing league, but we have to run occasionally and be better. Gadgets plays on 4 and 1 and mid field while clinging to a 4point lead.
Agree on the offensive strategy. They seemed to know what we were calling. They seemed to have 3 DBs near every pass. Poor blocking, lack of execution all around.
Well sure. McD made many questionable decisions and Daboll called to many cute, low percentage plays. The players did not execute. All of it starts with McD.
Man was I wrong.
Daboll had one call for Brieda on 3rd and 3 and they he came up short.
Daboll called an arrogant game. His 4th and 1 call, throwing 4 yards deep into our backfield, summed up his day. He fooled no one.
I think this is very accurate. Outside pressure and he knows how to step up and get go through all his reads. Inside pressure forces him to run and he is less dangerous. He is still capable rolling outside but less likely to burn you.
I had my left knee replaced three years ago. The right knee just had its 3rd gel shot to push the replacement out for hopefully another year. I still do lunges and squats, but with no weight added. Gotta keep going so I can golf.
