Challenge Specialist for McDermott
QLBillsFan replied to Heavy Kevi's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree. The TV crew had the benefit of time to look at it. I think it was 50:50 call. Might have been on 1 ft line. Hard to bust McClappy on that one🤷🏻♂️ -
I want to bask in this victory!! It’s a big win in national spotlight, although Dungy thought it was important to bring up the Adams PI as questionable. But, next week a good Arizona team pissed after a tough loss to Miami. Such a week to week league. Credit to the most balanced coaching prep in all three phases. Puts us in great position with the Dolphins not letting us do anything but play good football. Win next week and I’ll rest a little easier. Cheers 🍻!!

Week 9 Around the League

Cards given a good Dolphins D a hard time. That’s the good news. Bad news we get to deal with them next week 😳 -

National media was about 60-40 Hawks. But good on you to own up. Bills exposed Hawks flaws. By the way Tua is playing very well. -
Game Balls! Bills 44, Seattle 34

Just side bar. How about Beane and OL coach 🤷🏻♂️for having enough depth. Anywhere from 2-4 starters out today depending on the play. -
Are our WRs not getting separation? Or is it Allen?

Doesn’t hurt. But when your wrong just admit it. JA is a top 10 Qb , no wind, smoke back. All factors. -
Best single play in Bills history

I had that on page 6. After Art Thomas scooped a fumble for TD and 20-14 lead with 1:20 left. Great drive by Fergy! -

Uncle Rico slinging the steak to Sammy ? Jim Kelly giving him the business? Ahmad Rashad catching last second past from Fergy to beat Raiders on MNF? -
The much maligned deterioration of the passing game...
QLBillsFan replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A Bills QB will never have the best stats particularly with respect to completion %. It’s the wind not the cold. Be interesting to see data on top 10 ranked QB’s at Bills over past 20 years October on. What is the % completion drop for those QB’s. I would guess about 5%. Having said that, JA and receivers need to step up for this O to really carry the Bills. Healthy JB and DK would help. Every team deals with injuries so Davis Kraft whoever need to step up. -
Given all the injuries, who starts at OL and LB?

As we all become used to the new normal with Covid. A game like this with a team that passes so much would certainly allow the home field advantage to come into play. It’s tough to come to play in OP and Bills could really use the Bills Mafia. Same in going to Seattle. Where teams like the Dolphins it doesn’t matter as they have a weak fan base. That fan element Sunday would have just added that extra excitement to this match up. Hawks will be tough and travel East well.

Absolutely nobody is counting chickens with respect to the Bills. Every post acknowledges the remaining schedule is challenging, D is banged up and has underperformed. You seem to be counting your chics with Dolphins as if the trip to Arizona is just a formality. Again, one win vs a team with a winning record. 4 of those remain on your schedule. You replaced your above average performing QB with what one can generously say is an absolutely unproven rookie. Your starting RB just went on IR. Your D is good and we luckily dropped 30+ on you. Your late TD made that game closer than it was. I will agree with you on one thing. Until Bills win a playoff game the national spotlight will not shine. I would guess we would be a favorite at home vs Colts or toss up with Ravens. If we are fortunate enough to win the division from your favorite team , I would say one home playoff victory is plausible. Titans showed if you get hot anything can happen. JA certainly has that capability.

Tua Tagovailoa - Future of Miami?
QLBillsFan replied to BillsM@fia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At Alabama he was very good no debate. But how many NFL starters did he play with on that O. 4, 5 6? Not sure but they had a significant talent advantage in 90% of games he played. -

It would be ironic perhaps for Pats fans ? Not germane to what the Bills are doing. So you have fast tracked the Dolphins (with a 4-3 record having beaten one opponent with a winning record) past the Bills at this juncture? With a one start QB at the hem vs JA who arguably is a top 10 QB at the helm. And your an objective fan of the Bills ? Got it! I have several friends that are Dolphins fans who are not yet over the moon like you. But hey you might convince them! -

Your comments around lucky and last year worst opponents with asterisks rings interesting to me. Given the Dolphins currently have exactly one win this year against an opponent with a winning record. The facts are the Bills have made the playoffs the past 2 of 3 years. Since you say Bills are lucky and you admit the Dolphins schedule is easy the rest of the way, would then the Dolphins be lucky? Did you think the Bills loss last year to the Texans was a bit unlucky? Just trying to follow your logic. Again holding you accountable to fair balance. I had Pats with 8, Dolphins with 9, and Bills with 10 wins this year. I like what the Dolphins are doing but your own arguments are lessened when all you point to is negatives of the Bills and positives of the Dolphins. -

Do you mean like rushing for 200 yards like they did last week? -
4th highest pressure rate in NFL

We don’t like sacks just pressures. That’s a great stat but hope it leads to more sacks and turnovers! -

Unfortunately your RB who has been great was put on IR. Too bad you traded away Drake as he may have provided a great tandem. He seems to be doing pretty well with Arizona. Again I’ll try to give fair balance on the Bills good or bad. Dolphins have made some good moves but that’s one they might want back. -

All that suggests that you have selected the right QB in Tua. That’s currently a big if. When Herbert was imho the better choice. Texans will likely have pick 4-7 so could be some leverage. Jury is out on FA decisions as D Williams has been a find while Klein not so much. Your leaving out the best trade in the NFL getting Diggs so let’s not omit that. Happy to discuss your Dolphins vs Bills but let’s agree to provide fair balance in our conversations. -

Not judging him on one game at all. I just would have kept Fitz as the starter and felt that Herbert will be a better pro. He may go off against the Cards and they may win 10 games. I just happen to think it was not a good decision for the Dolphins this year. CG is no fool so I’m sure his input was big. I’ll admit to being wrong at week 16 if it plays out as you say.
