At first I thought your topic was not going to offer much. But you really made a strong case. TE and stopping the run seem to be the two areas where they had upper hand. Maybe we can improve but as others mentioned TE not so much. Having JA developing into his potential and improved D gives Bills a chance.

I think Worley got a very ticky tack call. Bills play ton of zone so veterans can do ok here. But Wallace is solid and Jackson appears to be ready and not intimidated. Cards went after him and he played pretty darn well. I like where are at if healthy in DB positions. If we can stop the run better ( I know a big if). I like this D trending up for a strong 6 game run.

We of all people know about QB. So I don’t fault going with Love. Time will tell on him. I can’t see Pack moving on from Rodgers next year. Adams they got from Fresno State in 2nd round. WR can be found in 2nd -3rd for sure. In a year with so much talent at WR shocking they didn’t find me. For some reason I don’t see Pack getting to SB this year. Saints to me are #1 in NFC and after that it’s big fall off. If Chiefs don’t get to SB whoever represents AFC will win.

Spot on I really liked Dillon for Bills but Pack got him earlier that expected. He doesn’t seem to fit what they do. If not mistaken Claypool was on board? Even Gabe Davis in 3rd or 4th makes sense. QB Love has potential to be good. Saw him live beat Fresno State in late comeback last year.

I think he’s decent. Also by all accounts a really good guy. So important to have the depth of he, Jackson, and Norman healthy. He is outside cover only do to frail body type. Long and best for outside. Jackson might be nickel option as TJ he regressed a bit.

Exactly Tebow is great example. Johnny M as well. Beane picking JA looks pretty darn good right now even if just vs his draft class. Long term would you want JA vs any of them including Baker and Lamar?

Yes they do. I expect a win over Chargers at home. But I don’t expect it to be easy. Winning 31-27 seems about right.

The experts had it as a toss up. He’s JA ahead of schedule with better weapons. AFC West is going to be the best division in football for a good stretch.

They lost on a Hail Mary, they should be 8-2. I expect a fired up angry and almost healthy group. Chargers are decent so won’t be taken lightly. D is improving, it’s up to O line who are finally healthy. Balance on O would be critical to this tough win.

Alabama had the #1 recruiting class while Tua was QB. Current QB will also likely be a first round pick. I think it’s less injury and more arm strength and nfl D coaching along with speed of the game. Can he better a decent QB, sure. But he has a long way to go. Had he gone to SD the talent on O was significantly better and he may have ramped up quicker. Having said that i think Herbert would be starting in Miami.

It’s not Saints responsibility to compare TH to all NFL qb’s. They wisely played him over JW in this game. I think he’s a weapon. In the beginning I thought it was silly. But SP pulling a first ballot HF qb in certain situations is pretty bold. And it’s paying off!

Pretty clear good move to start him over JW. That’s all that matters to Saints. He would be a big addition to any team. SP is a smug guy but credit to him on TH.

Titans got to AFC championship game. We will be elite if we make such a run. Stats are a telling sign of things to come, but NFL is about match ups and game plans. We are in the conversation to be elite. Outside of KC and perhaps the Saints I’m not sure anyone in the top 10 is elite. I think JA has the capability of making a run. If D continues to improve and we get some semblance of a run game why not Bills?

I would not want to play the Jets. These guys have pride and as has been said Greggo finds weaknesses. Tua against Greggo could be interesting. I see Jets getting a win somehow not sure this week. I watched pats game and they should have won.

I totally agree to write off Tua after five games is foolish. The JA comparisons are not the same. JA was panned by 2/3 of the media. Before the hip media had Tua as the 2nd coming of Manning. As far as his college performance. He played on the most talented team in college for four years. With multiple #1 draft choices to throw or hand to. The current eye test shows some kinks but he needs time and confidence. Clearly he’s not ready for a playoff run. Is the decision based on 1 wanting to win now ?2 in response to Burrow/ Herbert being good now? 3 A directive from the owner? If they think he’s better than Herbert long term they will stay with him and not draft another #1 qb. That draft was 6 months ago with the same decision makers in place. It’s not like Rosen so I deduct they do not draft a QB and they have stated as much.
