  1. Big thumbs up to those 3. Some early mistakes by Bell. Then he seemed find his groove. I think playing a no huddle is not easy either. It's encouraging. It's only 1 game, but it was a good test. I'm grasping for positives in this madness. I think this is a positive.
  2. Let's stop these silly posts while the season is going on. This is offseason fodder.
  3. Poz was awesome. Then he was injured and the tone of the defense changed. I'm still so pissed, I'm looking for every reason as to why we lost. I cite this as #1.
  4. I generally agree that we are not a very good team, but we will win some games this year and we are not even close to being in the same basement that Lions were in last year. This guy is a moron. I hope we win just so he looks like a total jackass. It is sad that soemone like this is actually employed as a published writer.
  5. I like Bills simmons. The guy is pretty funny. At this point, we look bad until proven otherwise. I think his prediction for us was more of a set up to discuss T.O. and his show.
  6. He can't pay for his stadium. Dallas isn't capital of the NFL or the world. Suck it.
  7. This looks so JV. To go through the whole preseason and figure out that the wrong guy was at the helm of the offense? This dooms the beginning of the season at the least.
  8. I don't care if he plays any more preseason games. We know what he is capable of and I am certain he will be ready for when it counts.
  9. Favre at QB will have more influence. but this isn't a good question. It's like asking who would have more influence if added to your band- John Bonham or Robert Plant. Roles are too different.
  10. The word out here is that Hanson is Al's toadie. He and Kiffin got at it last year too and Hanson only got suspended. Normally, you would think that a lowly coach would get let go. But Hanson has survived. There is no doubt Al has his people in the staff that tell him what is going on, so Hanson might be a spy.
  11. Many players could be plugged into a good system and thrive. You could take a bunch of the Bills and put them in NE or Pitt and they would be great.
  12. I've always liked Fisher. I like his style and I like the fact that he does unconventional stuff like that and sadly, the homerun throwback. I would love to have that guy in Buffalo.
  13. Right now, Jones is pretty nervous. To his credit, he put up most of the money for the stadium. And it is one hell of stadium. But in this economy, individuals and corporations cannot shell out big dollars for that kind of luxury. CFOs and controllers need to appear fiscally prudent. Renting a luxury box for that kind of money is not going to escape the public eye. Things will turn around, but how much has Jerry leveraged himself? My Dallas friends say he is hard pressed to find a partner for the naming rights. At least for now. But there is a ceiling. Maybe we found it? And it isn't like the Cowboys are burning it up these days. The most famous Cowboy of recent times is inow n Buffalo. Maybe Jerry over estimated the demad in Dallas for the value. If The Yankees had to slash prices for premium seats in New York, where does that leave Dallas? Big D is not he Big Apple.
  14. I'd pick the Saints game. The weather will still be good and that is an intriguing matchup.
  15. That guy is awesome. I know of no greater fan.
  16. I was at that Raiders game and the Chiefs playoff game too. That Raiders game was colder than the Jets game I think. We were losing for most of the game until Tasker single handedly brought us right back in it with that play. That was so cold that day. The Chiefs playoff game was almost warm and balmy though. Great times those were for sure.
  17. I'm pretty sure I was there. It was a freezing cold day, but really sunny, right? I remember that there were still around 65,000 in house. It felt like someone shot my toes off with a shotgun. My buddy and I left and went to his car and drank beers with the heat cranking and Van on the raido and the windows down so we could hear the actual cheering. Then we beat a retreat to Rappl's in OP to celebrate. Good times.
  18. Didn't we win the division that day? I think we kicked a field goal to win it? Was that the game you are referring to?
  19. Did anyone see Peter King at the camp? Would there be an opportunity for some fans to talk with him? Is the press pretty well separated? I've never been to camp at SJF, so I don't know the layout.
  20. I want to check that place out. Anyway, that waiter got destroyed. If ever the time was right for a gorgeous waitress to appear, that was it. They probably thought they were doing right by sending their most able server out.
  21. I rarely watch reality shows but the one impression I get from them is that they are far from reality. His bodygurad who said never thought he would be in Buffalo is going to end up gaining 500 lbs. He's probably at Duffs right now.
  22. The restaurant scene was pretty funny. What restaurant was that? Also, what stadium was he running in when he was doing that mini workout? If there are negative comments about buffalo going on, they are cutting all of them out of the show.
  23. Buffalo, the zombie city. Is this a shock to anyone? Buffalo is always on these lists. While Charlotte, Orlando, Phoenix and other sunbelt cities are always on the list for fastest growing cities because they are obviously such awesome places to live that everyone wants to move or rather SHOULD move there. We know Buffalo is not the thriving place it once was. Perhaps by the time the next study rolls around, Buffalo will have collapsed and fallen on Cheektowaga and killed it too.
  24. Who wrote that? Norman Einstein?
  25. This is a stupid feature. The Bills are mandatory on lists like. They throw the Bills on there to round out the list. They have no idea about the Bills and the economics of the team. The stupidest statement is "Despite sellout crowds for every game last season, ticket prices remain stubbornly low". What is the correlation there? Would it not be more alarming if the stadium was half empty (with a continually bad team) and ticket prices were stubbornly high? Who writes this crap? Buffalo remains on the brink of bad reporting, is more like it. P.S. In Toronto, ticket prices WERE stubbornly high and the stadium was not a sell out.
