  1. PTR is 100% right. There is no need to discuss the Bills today.
  2. The people standing outsdie don't count. If they count those people to get over the record in LA, it is not legit. The LA record still holds.
  3. This is good news. Certainly need help with our defense.
  4. I don't think that he was talking from a fan and amenity perspective, but more likely the elements and noise. Lots of players have said they hated playing there for those reasons.
  5. Not a bad attempt at humor. I'd say the race to go to LA is as follows though: Chargers, Vikings, St. Louis, Jags. The Bills are an afterthought at this point. If you recall, the group in LA was saying that they would be announcing before the Super Bowl last year that a team would be moving to LA and cited the Jags and Bills as favorites, with vague ideas as to why the Bills should be moving there.
  6. Golisano has stated many times he'd sell the team if a good offer came along and he already told Balsillie he won't sell if he plans to move the team. Moving the team from Buffalo to Hamilton would also make zero sense. And, as many have pointed out, the NHL will never allow the Sabres to leave Buffalo. When they were owned by the league after the Rigas debacle, they were never entertaining any offer to allow them to go.
  7. The NFL would never let anyone that has gaming interests own a team. This will ultimately rule out Trump if he wanted a team.
  8. He would buy the team and hold a press conference from LA announcing that they were moving to LA on that same day. He would never step foot in Buffalo. He probably doesn't even know where it is on a map and doesn't care to know.
  9. I'd be far more worried if I were Jags or Rams fan. I think the Bills are pretty secure in WNY.
  10. Ha! Agreed- the nerves are on high with the game tomorrow. I thought the board needed levity. Good point brought up. Beef on weck...another oversight.
  11. We will be missing you at the Northstar tomorrow!
  12. Bagels? Those are so regional. Once again Buffalo get the short stick.
  13. Where are the wings? Thank God they got the cheese curds on there. We all know cheese curds. http://travel.yahoo.com/p-interests-35710989
  14. My expectations going in to this season are realistic and I feel that we don't have a very good team. A good deal of the negative things that the press has to say is warranted and the Bills need to earn respect. But this is a whole new level of asshatery. These guys get paid to say this stuff? Do they just run out of things to say and just start talking gibberish? This team should be an improvement over last years team that won 6 games. Do these guys even think before they spout this nonsense? I never do things like emailing to call people out, but I will look forward to it later in the year. If these guys still have a job. What happens if we win Sunday? What is Miami then?
  15. I'd say we hit rock bottom already, last year.
  16. As fans we get all rankled when someone calls us bad. Until he proves himself this year, this is where Trent should be ranked. Same with the Bills- until we pile up some regular season wins and earn respect, we are going to be ranked low and we need to accept it. The preseason has been pretty good so far, so I have some confidence that we will be an improved team and Trent will have a decent season, at the least.
  17. Right about the Bills- wrong on the Raiders.
  18. "Not a Chance" and "Are you Insane" are too similar. Change one to "Just Fall Short" or "Slight Chance".
  19. Who cares? He paid $25,000 for the team. If he paid a billion a few years back and were leveraged to the gills and it gropped, then it might be bad.
  20. Not bad. Worthy in my book.
  21. I think that is a bit premature to say. I think they are on the downside, but still have the ability to beat us twice and contend for the division and more.
  22. The 49'ers will end up staying in San Francisco. There is an alternative stadium being proposed in a big redevelopment called Hunters Point. It will end up being a better deal than if they moved to Santa Clara. The team will have to pay far more out of pocket to build down the highway. They asked the NFL for money, but the stadium fund was used up by the Jets. The Yorks are notoriously cheap, they will not pay the $700 million needed to bridge the gap. This is a huge bluff to get a better deal from San Francisco. Really they just want to speed alng the stadium in San Francisco which has been stalled since the days of Eddie Debartolo.
  23. As others indicated- Sabres are switching back to the old logos (the 3rd jersey this year). The new 3rd jersey will be the one that the old Bisons hockey team wore that has a soda pop top on it.
