  1. Not sure how we pick McDuffie though when J. Williams is available
  2. Problem is his measurables were so historically bad at the combine. Has you scared
  3. He could be the pick as (1) he'll be there, (2) he does have the speed we lack, (3) seems high character and (4) Penn St Connection (Pegula). In saying that, somebody always falls, and I think we'll end up with someone we didn't think would last to 25. If Dotson is there in the early 2nd, and we didn't draft a WR in Rd 1, would love to see a trade up to grab him.
  4. He a friend of my Sons - from Wake Forest. Not good enough for Wake, but good enough for Mich ST is crazy. High character, smart kid. I'd trade up in the 2nd to get him - not much wear and tear on him either
  5. You'd be drafting potential, which you typically don't want to do in the 1st round, but what 6'4" 210 pound guys can you find who run a 4.36? Read somewhere that he had the 2nd best athletic score of any wr since 1987. Not sure who's first, I'd guess Randy Moss?? A deep threat like him can open up a lot of underneath routes along with the running game. It's what Lofton and Beebe did for Andre Reed, Metzelaars, even Thurman Thomas. The K gun offense didn't explode until we got Lofton
  6. we think alike - Maybe we trade out of the 1st (and grab an early 3rd) to a qb needy team and draft watson in the early 2nd. Like Woolen too, raw but ridiculous athleticism. Maybe we sign a veteran CB and draft Woolen with the acquired early 3rd. With the 2nd rounder, take the best guy on your board (RB if Hall or the kid from Mich St drop).
  7. I've been researching and am really warming up to Christian Watson AND at 25!! 6'3" 208 with 4.36 speed. He doesn't have the stats in college, but ND St was a running team. He has the 2nd best athletic score of any WR since 1987 and can't teach that. Sounds a lot like a certain QB that we drafted 4 years ago.
  8. Twitter says Von golfing with Joe Haden today
  9. A lock - politicians like to b*tch about it for political reasons but would never cut their throats by taking a stand
  10. True, BUT, theoretically, teams he's trying to trade up with could be talking
  11. McDuffie is the obvious pick at this point. now, if we add a Gilmore/rhodes/Nelson that might change
  12. We were in on Peterson so I think Beene will add a veteran - have a feeling it’ll be Nelson, though I can dream about Gilmore
  13. Bills pick should be obvious, though in the real draft I greatly doubt he’ll be there
  14. If Olave or Wilson or Williams are there in the 1st you take them (doubtful) if not, take BPA in rd 1 (hopefully a cb) and take Pickens or Austin in rd 2 (pickens prob won’t be there). I also really like Kyle Phillips (UCLA) as a 4th rd pick. He looks like a faster Cole Beasley to me I don’t think so. Not enough production at North Dakota state, though they are the Bisons
  15. You nailed it. Nelson is the perfect cb for the Bills zone d. Plus, He should be relatively affordable
  16. Nice list - great job. Loving Christian Watson wish he had better stats. for some reason I think we end up with Dotson- Penn state for Pegula, great last season, decent 2020 season. Only 5’11 but thick and anyway we have tall receivers in Gabe, kumerow and hodgins
  17. Hard no - I do not want McDermott to be tempted to have josh throw less
  18. 2 WRs may be excessive, but 2 CB's isn't. we typically only play 2 LB's, so any that you draft is mostly for ST, We have two top safeties already, have 10 DT/DEs that we probably keep on the team, and a how's a RB getting any PT behind the 3 guys we have (unless it's a 1st round pick).
  19. I’m sure it’s vet minimum so it’s cap neutral
