  1. He had the surgery this morning to repair the tear. From what I heard, it was a completely torn and 2-3 months is extremely optimistic. This COVID is causing timelines to be fluid because the season may not start on time, but he will end up on IR and depending on when the season actually starts, he may come back in Jan/Feb.
  2. I see the line now: Dawkins-Spain-Morse-Ford-Nsekhe Williams-Boehm-Long-Bates
  3. Evan Boehm will be huge now. Much better than Long. Completely forgot we signed him.
  4. Yeap, Long is trash. Don't know what Bills are going to do. Is Morse definitely playing this year? I know he has a small child at home.
  5. You realize that hospital has turned into COVID quarantine and has saved hundreds of lives?
  6. UB is a huge medical school/campus. Children's is a great hospital too. Not to mention Catholic Health and Kaleida have a lot of facilities. Buffalo is saturated with medical in proportion to population
  7. That's what made Will really nervous. Happened right around the time that was all going on.
  8. The Bills medical staff has been great for a long time now, but it just affirmed itself again. On PMT, Will Compton was talking about how he was doing a physical with the Bills last year when the medical staff found a white spot on his brain. They immediately notified Compton and told him it is concern for his life, forget about just football. He ended up going back to Washington and have them taking care of it due to the insurance. It turned out to be a cyst, but he sounded very thankful for the Bills finding it.
  9. It's a shame M&T sponsors Baltimore, because I think that could have been a company to burn money on a useless endeavor. They will need to find a company looking to get their name out there. If you are a newer company that is looking for exposure, having your name attached nationally to something 8 times a year could be good. Someone like Quibi, Wish, Instacart, DoorDash, etc. A app like espn puts the stadium name next on their game center app. The name is announced during the telecast. You do get a lot of exposure, but it will need to be a company that can really benefit from new customers hearing the name for the first time.
  10. The Bills don't need a nickname. Are they the only team that uses the city as their mascot? If they do switch, they should switch the Bisons and the Bills should be become the Bisons. It would require zero change.
  11. Pretty much what this guy said. Knox farm and East Aurora. Elma Towne Grill is a decent spot within Elma
  12. Money will delay or destroy this season. Owners will lose less money this year by not playing at all. Players won't take pay cuts. Future years salary cap is based on prior revenue. If players don't take the hit this year, it will hurt them next year. The players think they can not take a paycut this year, and then also not take a hit next year. They want to just have a flat cap for years to come to make up the loses the owners will need to eat this year. If the players want to follow the CBA so bad and not take a cut this year, the owners will make them follow the CBA next year and have the cap sink to extreme lows. Players want everything and the owners should not give in with the amount of millions they will lose playing this year.
  13. Like someone already said, still will count against the cap and career ending is tough to prove.
  14. Huh? Not sure that is even a debate that an NFL team brings in more than 40 million a year in revenue. I'm talking about risk vs reward. A team being tied to 10 years is a lot more risky than Mahomes being tied to 10 years. If Mahomes gets really hurt, the team is still liable for the contract. Mahomes risk is maybe losing out on a couple million, but he is setting the market and everyone will need to be below him anyways, so not sure there is even any risk there.
  15. It can't. Next 5 years according to CBA unless Mahomes if getting zero dollars today to sign that extension, which then why would he sign it?
  16. This will benefit Mahomes more than the team. I'm pretty confident any signing bonus can only be spread out over 5 years. This means that the salary cap is going to be high for the next 5 years. The remaining years will have lower caps, but if Mahomes is still at the top of his game, it will be restructed anyways. If he stinks or get hurt, he collects anyways.
  17. There have been plenty of years were Cam has been healthy and not great. He is just an average QB with injury issues.
  18. McDaniels is an offensive wizard like Cam is a future HOFer. Where do people come up with this stuff? I'm convinced most people actually don't want games or even follow the NFL on a year by year basis and just just check in once every decade.
  19. Haus has zero chance of making this team. There will be cost cutting roster moves too. Haus makes way too much money
  20. No, they are out 2 weeks, which has been my stance all along that the season is not starting till a vaccine is here. Let's hope those Sept estimates that are out there for vaccines are doable.
