  1. Zay Flowers looks pretty good too. I was hoping for Addison or Flowers at pick 27. My no go go was Quinton Johnston.
  2. This logic is flawed and based on unfounded fear. You already have a franchise QB so there is no need for a "mini rebuild." A change of scheme and players might be exactly what the team needs. It worked immediately for Philly and a guy named McVay did pretty well too. Folks, the status quo isn't working. What makes you think things are going to change for the positive? I just don't get the resistance to change. Lastly, there isn't a lot to lose with coaching changes. Allen alone can almost get you into the playoffs. A bigger question is the GM position. Those are big shoes to fill. Is Beane is likely gone if McD goes? I like Beane but many of his his moves just haven't produced the desired results. As for qualifying candidates I have no idea. Agree 100%. Where were you when I was saying this last year? I nearly got decapitated on here for saying similar things.
  3. I agree. You don't have much to lose.
  4. That makes no sense. Purdy looks more than serviceable. He definitely doesn't suck.
  5. They are 5-2 and first in a crappy division..They had Deebo out for the game. Bad sarcasm here. Why? I don't get the logic here.
  6. I don't think he has the yips. I think he's under prepared and lacks focus early in games. I think he's lost confidence in the coaching and the play calling. I think he only trust Diggs and feels like everyone else isn't reliable. I think he's beginning to see and feel the pressure from the oline weaknesses. At the end of games, Allen seems very focused and confident. Has a swagger and makes plays and things happen. Sort of plays back yard football and takes things into his own hands. That's anything but the yips.
  7. I don't think it's total garbage. Allen is far from the problem. Many including myself may hold him to an unacceptable high standard. Allen has missed several reads that have been open. The Jets game was abysmal. He single handily gave that game away. The offense has been terrible for three straight games. That's not acceptable. We aren't talking a quarter or two. Allen is the leader of the offense. Without him, the team likely doesn't win many games. That's just reality. As he goes the team goes. Its hard to really quantify the percentage of the offensive woes. Allen certainly has to burden some of it though. How much is debatable. My fan eyes see a different Allen this year. Almost like he's a bite distracted, not quite focused, and frustrated. His slow starts almost indicate he's not prepared or focused. Almost like he's pulling a "Michael Vick" if you will. The most obvious difference in Allen is his reluctance to run. That skill really set him apart from other QBs. His legs absolutely gives the Bills the best chance to win. He's effectively cut off at the knees by choice or by coaches. In short, Allen is the future of the Bills. He's the main reason for the recent success and playoff births. I think most will concede this as a given. Nevertheless, he deserves plenty of criticism this season.
  8. Obviously, you haven't read my posts starting last season. I've been advocating a coaching change for a long time. It was pretty clear in my eyes that McD had run it's course. I beat the drum over and over. I reiterated why I thought change was needed and a positive. My only regret was I over did it and rubbed many the wrong way. I'm not happy with the way the season is playing out. As Josh Allen said "it looks bleak." Folks, that's coming from the leader of the team. That has to speak volumes. I suspect if the Bills continue to lose (schedule is brutal) McD may lose the locker room. I'm wondering if it's slightly in progress now.
  9. Agree. Its not like 12 personnel was lighting up opposing defenses.
  10. Pi is already a judgement call.
  11. I know that's why you can add in a spot foul for intentional PI. Kind of like how they have a running and roughing into the kicker penalities.
  12. Ok then a straight 15 yard penalty.
  13. It's impossible to do that. I think what might be more realistic is making PI a 15 yard penalty and a first down. Maybe they could implement something like it's a spot foul for blatant intentionally PI.
  14. Refs are bad. So obvious. Mahomes, Reid, and Kelce. It's the new version of Brady, BB, and Gronk. I believe they are a destiny team for many years. They are clearly the team to beat in the AFC for years.
  15. Addison isn't bad either. He was the guy I wanted in the draft for the Bills
  16. I think there is plenty of blame to go around.
  17. I was stunned at how the Bills came back to take the lead. It was fantastic. I wasn't confident that the Bills D would stop NE because of the way both sides were playing. However, I really never thought the Pats would score a game winning TD. I was sort of expecting OT.
  18. You never know but I think they only had one play left of Diggs caught it. Very unlikely but it was that kind of crazy game. Would have been awesome if the ghost of Gabe caught the TD winner. The analyst here just stated that Allen was pressured 41% of the time when he dropped back to pass. Wow.
  19. I get it. We are all upset.
  20. Yes but the Bills were down by 4 points.
  21. Hell, McD got a free pass for the 13 second debacle. His team pooped the bed vs Cincinnati last year. Terry's response was to give him and Beane and extension. There is no accountability. The media are paper tigers. The only tough media guy Sully got dispersed. The fans are helpless here.
  22. They did the same thing to me for months. No need to go postal about it. We are all fans with the same common goal. Also, there's a chance we still may be wrong too. Hoping we are.
  23. Damn dude grow up. I'm the biggest critic of McD and the coaching staff. No need to go where you are going. People are entitled to their opinions even if we disagree. There is a lot to like about McD too. He has likely run it's course.
  24. But I think you have to put it in proper perspective. The Bills offense has struggled for three straight games. That's just not going to win you a lot of games especially with a depleted defense.
  25. There isn't a whole lot they can do to be honest.
