  1. Sorry but I watched the vast majority of our defensive plays once, from the broadcast angle, and without focusing on edmunds so I know these numbers are fake and he actually stinks
  2. Ain’t no way you just called someone with an 86th percentile 40 yard dash slow. JFC.
  3. This thread is 10 pages long and there’s been like 5 actual rumors posted lol
  4. Monster plays like that are such a rare occurrence for any RB though. JT was the only back with more than 2 carries of 40+ yards with 5, which still made up a measly 1.5% of his total attempts. And not a single back had more than 2 catch and runs of 40+ yards. Putting a high value on being a “home run hitter” is majoring in something minor.
  5. You’re 100% correct. The Big 12 has a lot of terrible defenses that turn every RB in the conference into a broken tackle machine.
  6. When you play in the garbage defense big 12 it’s definitely not good. As the tweet I posted (that you replied to) said, he was 17th out of 18 big 12 RBs in yards after contact per attempt. For comparison, Kenneth walker ( 263 carries) averaged 4.44 yards per attempt after contact in a wayyyy tougher conference.
  7. He has 532 carries since 2020, so according to PFF he has 3.10 yards after contact per attempt. I don’t think a 0.27 yard per attempt difference from the tweet I posted is gonna move him up the leaderboards much.
  8. That’s a whole lot of words just to say “I’d rather reach for a CB than steal 2 of the best playmakers in the draft”
  9. There’s tons of interest. Literally the one thing pretty much everybody on this board can agree on is that CB is by far our #1 need. What a lot of people don’t realize is that we don’t HAVE to draft one in the first couple rounds given McDs track record of getting the most out of DBs. It just so happened in this one completely make believe scenario that Wilson and Hall were sticking out like sore thumbs. I guarantee that if the real draft were to shake out this way Beane would make the exact same picks.
  10. I know Breece Hall is the correct answer here but I don’t think there’s a shot he lass til 57 in the real draft. More realistically I would freaking love to get Chenal as Edmunds replacement in 2023. Straight up beast against the run and as a blitzer with the athleticism needed to develop into a stud in coverage as well. Took on and whooped the best center in college football on back to back plays.
  11. The Christian Watson hype since the combine has gotten out of control. 40 yard dash is extremely overrated for WRs and all the reasons he was viewed as a mid round pick before the combine (route running, drops, didn’t dominate FCS) still exist. No idea why any team would take Watson in the first 2 rounds when they could just get Isaiah Weston on day 3.
  12. Especially cause there’s a crap ton of super athletic high upside LBs this year
  13. https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/players/2022/skyy-moore Athlon needs to get it together cause his average big board rank is 51st and pretty much every mock since the combine has him going top 50.
  14. You should add Cam Taylor-Britt to the poll. I’d rather double up at CB with him than take any of these guys.
  15. Honestly would be better than the red pajamas
  16. Does he really thing Browns fans were gonna care about a dude with 22 yards per game the last 3 years?
  17. Yeah I’m not trusting a dude with <1000 followers who can’t even get Matt Araiza’s name correct
  18. Yes, Hamilton is better and it’s not even close. Hill running faster doesn’t change the fact that Hamilton has arguably the best film of any safety in the past decade. I like Hill a lot though so this isn’t meant as a slight towards him.
  19. Tre white has struggled some with big receivers throughout his career and he was still well worth the first round pick. Not to mention that McDuffie’s 38.5” vertical (6.5” better than Tre) will help make up for his arms being 2.5” shorter on jump balls against said big receivers. Either way he’s a flat out baller (he was better than Tre was at LSU) and I’d be shocked if he even lasted til the Bills pick let alone make it past.
  20. Beane turning in the card if McDuffie falls to 25
