  1. No. I know I'm not well versed in all the little details to look for when watching film, and I don't think anyone else here is either.
  2. By actually credible people or by the wannabe armchair scouts on this board?
  3. Let's cool it with the Chase Claypool hype. Testing better than expected doesn't vault somebody from a 4th/5th round prospect to a 1st rounder.
  4. https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/alex-highsmith/q6qDVlYZMM Here are some scouting reports on him. He's an athletic 3-4 OLB who dominated Conference USA (15 sacks) and earned praise from Dabo Swinney when they played Clemson. He would project as a potential Zo replacement if we drafted him because he's 6'3" 245 lb and has short arms.
  5. Yeah every 1st round pick that wasn't at one those positions was a bad pick I agree.
  6. Just stop. Every single position on offense and defense is worth a first round pick if the talent is there.
  7. I'm just not of fan of trading away future first for a non-QB, unless it's a true blue chip talent (like Young or Okudah) at a position where you have a big hole to fill. No, just no need to trade all the way up into the top 10 to find it.
  8. We'd have to give up a future first rounder to move up to 8. No thanks.
  9. If we enter draft night without any glaring needs we should just go BPA at, preferably at a premium position (OT, DE, WR, or CB). If a fringe top 10 started sliding into the mid teens (like Edmunds in at 2018) I hope we trade up to get them. We need more high impact starters on this team.
  10. Agreed. I've also read several times from different sites that he can be a liability at times against the run.
  11. Yes, and both of those teams pissed away tons of cap space and draft capital to be a contender. Now neither team is a contender, neither of them have a 1st round pick, and neither of them have more than $30 million in cap space. Is that really what you want for the Bills?
  12. The reality is that Allen is part of the run game and all of his rushing TDs were in the redzone. I'm sure that if we didn't have an incredibly mobile QB lots of those TDs would've gone to our RBs instead. Our run game is fine.
  13. He struggled a lot with injuries in 2018 but came back in 2019 and had a fine year. 15 per year does seem steep for a RT but saying he's "a shadow of his former self" is just plain wrong.
  14. If you think poyer can't tackle then you're really not gonna like delpit.
  15. I was talking about Harry being an upgrade over Star at 1T since he was playing amazing before tearing his acl. No idea why you thought comparing his box score numbers to someone who mainly plays as a 3T was relevant.
  16. Doing what you're supposed to do means you're an average player. Nobody said he's above average.
  17. There are 13 other players who had more sacks through their first 5 seasons than Hunter has through his first 5.
  18. I have watched it which is how I came up with those opinions, I'd just genuinely like to know what you didn't like about it so I can get a different opinion on him. Are you actually give an explanation or just take more lazy cheapshots at my assessment of him?
  19. I thought that too but then I realized it's because they're the only team in their division that doesn't have to play the 14-2 Ravens twice.
  20. Why? He's not an explosive athlete but he has NFL size and strength, great technique, a wide variety of moves and is solid against the run. Is there something I'm missing with him?
  21. I don't want us to sign him for other reasons, but he's literally the best pass rushing DT in the league not named Aaron Donald. To say he wouldn't help our pass rush is just ignorant.
