It's no different when you bet on a team in Vegas. You bet on that teams reputation and their record before the game is played. Not their record that is predicted X amount of games later, or in the future The fact is this team has not beaten a team that had a winning record at the time the actual game was played. Is this to much to comprehend instead of making excuses that the Swami was not available before the game was played to foresee that the opponent was going to have a winning record, in the next X amount games from the day they played the actual game. I guess we will all have to listen to analytics now on how to determine if a team is a winning team or a losing team, but wait that does not really count because they have yet to play their next 10 games yet, so their current record actually does not apply. Please..... And I have posted numerous times before and after the loss to NE, when they spanked this teams ass on national tv at home. Why because my best friend is a NE fan.... I hate dealing with his texts when our team plays like complete crap on Monday night. Even the National media has completely trashed this team since the loss to NE. If you don't see that were are not a good team right now then I don't know what to tell you. This teams coaches all drank from the same Kool-aide when the season began that we were going to the superbowl even before we played our very first game. Also we have zero chance against TB this week. The only way we win is if Brady gets placed on the Covid 19 list before the game starts. Come back to this thread after this weekends game. Its going to 45 - 17 TB.

I am not basing my statement on a prior years sample. The fact is, the Bills lost to all its opponents with an above .500 record when the actual game was played. Yeah KC was playing terrible when we played them this year. They have turned it around in their favor since that game. If we were to play them again right now guess what, that would be another loss for sure. Proving that the Bills can't beat teams with a winning record this year. Our coaching has been horrendous, LB's playing like their still in college, OL inconsistency, stupid penalties on both sides of the ball, turnovers and not playing smart team football. The number one scapegoat is "Daboll" He is a cancer to this offense right now. When you put all of this together on a stat sheet this year our team is a .500 caliber team at the end of this year. I wish this was not the case but watching this team this year has only proven this to be true.
-
They were .500 when we played them 2-2. That is not winning record or a losing record.
-
We have not won a single game this year against a team with a winning record. Buc's 9-3 equals Bills loss this weekend. Sorry.. the numbers this year don't lie.
-
It does not matter what happened with other teams 8 years ago. Really it doesn't. These are just really stats and numbers. We are the only NFL team this year that failed to score a single touchdown against Jacksonville !!!! With a 250 Million $ QB, with talent all over the place and we can't get a single TD against that team. Like I said in other posts, last weeks loss against NE was an embarrassment, Jacksonville, Indy and even the Titans game were all poorly scripted game planning by our OC. He cant make changes when they need to be done during a game or at halftime, runs the same plays week in and week out that do not produce. Because of this guy not being able to utilize the talent on this Bills roster, we are not going to make the playoffs this year. We will lose 4 out of 5 of our remaining games. Then we can come back to this and then see if you think Daboll is quality OC. He is not.
-
When he was at KC he had Matt Cassel and Alex Smith at QB. He still could not get the offenses on those teams going. You have to start looking at what has he done for your lately. If it were not for Josh Allen playing out of his mind last year and this year. This offense would be in the middle of the league again. You have to start putting the blame where it needs to go. Daboll is not a good OC. His players have been struggling to execute the poor play calling this year and even going back to last year in the playoffs. Daboll is not the answer.
-
We were not the best offense in the league last year, KC was. We we ranked 2 in the regular season and we were much worse in the playoffs. Our offense was exposed even last year in the playoffs. A mirage is just that. You think something is real when it actually isn't. Our offense is just a mirage.....

Baboll is the reason why this team is having problems. Our offense has really stepped backwards this year. Lets get real, he has had only one good year as an OC. Last years Bills 2020 team. This years Bills offensive performance speaks for itself, a lot of yards but the offense is terrible with him calling the shots. Daboll began his NFL coaching career with the New England Patriots as a defensive coaching assistant in 2000 under new head coach Bill Belichick before being promoted to wide receivers coach for the Patriots in 2002. After the 2006 season, he left the Patriots to serve as the Jets' quarterbacks coach. The Patriots won 3 Super Bowls during Daboll's tenure. Dabol had really nothing to do with this coaching of the NE offense. In 2009, Daboll joined Eric Mangini's staff in Cleveland as offensive coordinator. Under Daboll the Browns had the NFL's 32nd ranked offense in 2009 and the 29th ranked offense in 2010. Daboll was named Offensive Coordinator of the Miami Dolphins under Tony Sparano in 2011, with his Dolphins improving from 30th in the league to 20th in overall offense. On February 6, 2012 the Kansas City Chiefs announced the hiring of Daboll as offensive coordinator, replacing the retired Bill Muir. Daboll had previously worked with Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel, general manager Scott Pioli and quarterback Matt Cassel in the New England Patriots organization. On January 14, 2013, the New England Patriots announced that he would be brought back in a coaching capacity for the remainder of the Patriots 2012–13 season. He went 2-14 in 2012 in KC. Offense was ranked 24th. He went 11-6 in 2013 in KC. Offense was ranked 21st. He has yet to prove to me or anyone IMO, else that he is a top 10 OC in this league. His results are worse than average most of the time on the teams where he was OC. He has always been in the bottom 3rd of the league as a OC and that trend seems to be continuing today. Buffalo Offense ranking each year under Daboll so far.. 2017 29th Daboll was not OC Rick Dennison was. 2018 30th 2019 24th 2020 2nd 2021 9th so far its only going to get worse. Daboll needs to go. MCD better kick it into high gear to try and get someone else in the off season.

Wish we could get Frank Reich. McD is not even on Frank's level, Frank actually can game plan when McD can't. I would swap coaches with Indy in a NY minute.

[Edit] The Obligatory Edmunds Thread (was: Edmunds name-only title)
Toyo321 replied to beacon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wait until we play Tampa Bay this coming weekend. Wish we could have helmet cams on their two linebackers "White and David" and stream this to Milano ,Edmunds, Frasier and McDermott to watch the entire game. Wow talk about an intervention!!! LOL... Our linebackers are below average in every single category when grading this position. Want to see how linebackers are supposed to play watch Tampa's two this coming Sunday. We can sit Milano and Edmunds on the damn bench for all I care they don't do squat except occupy space on the football field anyway. They have zero impact on games and after last nights pathetic performance they are both expendable IMO. Good riddance after this year to Edmunds, finally, and just release Milano take the cap hit get some real linebackers via the draft or FA. Neither are worth any of the money they are paid. Period!! -
OK, armchair analysts: How do we fix this offense?

If you seriously think he running this organization after last nights embarrassment on MNF, at home on national tv, OMG.... Wait until this team gets spanked by TB this coming week. You will see who is truly at the helm with this team after this next weeks game. -

Toyo321 replied to Just in Atlanta's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane has to commit to make that happen..... McD does not have the balls to do it himself. -
McD's press conference on ESPN, OMG...Can we please have a mute button on his sorry A** Same old excuses from him. Pathetic.
-
McD needs to apply this offseason to the Bill Belichick coaching camp for disadvantaged coaches!!
-
Wow this team is just laying bigger eggs as the season goes on. This one is even harder to live with. Lose a game with only 3 pass attempts against your Dee...

Josh is starting to turn into a lability too. He can't read the defense's this year and choose the correct receiver on his progressions. He needs to take some blame too. Even when he has protection he is making bad choices.
-
This game comes down to it again, costly turnovers and stupid mistakes again. Josh missed critical passes to open receivers when we needed them the most. Our receivers dropped the balls they needed to catch at a crucial times in the game. Our Defense can't stop the run to save their damn lives. Our LB's are pathetic. IT IS A EMBARRASEMENT TO LOSE TO A TEAM MAKING ONLY 3 PASS ATTEMPTS. Every coach on the Bills side line needs to be taken out to the wood shed for an a** whooping.

12/8/21 Gameday Bills vs Pats* MNF 1st Half Thread

Our linebackers suck. They have no clue on what gap integrity means. They can both go... -
Changing the gameplan due to weather
Toyo321 replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
So what's your point??? Who cares where he played his college football. Playing on MNF and with potential wind and wet conditions is enough to challenge any rookie when its 32 degrees out. -
Changing the gameplan due to weather
Toyo321 replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
Daboll will utilize Breida with the potential to get him out in the flats where his speed will pay off. If these winds do kick in like they are calling for, around 50 to 60mph gusts during game time, the worst thing that could happen is if it rains at the same time. One or the other, but hopefully not both rain and wind at the same time. But if it rains and the wind is as bad as they are calling for they short passing gaming is going to be a premium as long as the receives can hold on the ball and get decent YAC we should be fine. I believe Mac will have a difficult time with the winds. He has no experience in this type of weather, being a rookie. So the advantage should go to Josh. If he plays smart. -
I think the biggest handicap this team has right now is their coaching and the overall lack of it when it matters most, unfortunately it happens on a consistent basis with the Bills. Daboll is either the biggest detriment to this team or its MCD for not getting the best out his players week to week, or starting the best players that are available to dress. We have had terrible coaching in 4 lousy games this year and these loses exposed the lack of real-time game planning against the opponent on both the O and D side of the ball. I sure as hell did not see a well thought out game plans in any of these 4 loses. Even some of our wins had really bad coaching in those games too. I do not understand why Daboll has not been held more accountable for this teams often abysmal offensive play calling and exploiting the other teams weaknesses. That is his job and its MCD's job to make sure his team is ready to go every week with the right players on the field. We have all seen some of poor play calling and everyone can just hits their heads on what the hell Daboll is watching up in the booth . Because of this guys inability to adapt real-time to the flow of game when its needed the most, or when this team gets behind this year, he is a huge liability as OC right now. The only reason we don't have more than 4 loses this season, the majority of our competition that we have played has been below us talent wise, or due to the other teams injuries to their starters. To be honest I don't believe we are better than NE at this point. But come Monday if the we out coach NE and Bill B, and Josh plays error free, making good game time decisions we win. But the key is to get a sustained offense going early and maintain it for the entire game. Something we have not done well at all this year. We can't afford to take a half off in this game, and expect to win it in the last 2 quarters. We can't constantly go 3rd and 10 in this game and expect to win. We have to get into short yardage 3rd down attempts. Beasly and Breida are going to be keys in this game. If we don't utilize these guys this week, we are in for a long Monday night. NE will not make many mistakes on D, if any at all. If we do all these things right on Monday night, then my opinion will change that we are the better team. But it could go in the exact opposite direction too. Bad coaching, and Josh not playing smart and him playing hero ball. This year when he does this we have lost all those games. That is the challenge this week, out coach Bill Belichick. Josh needs plays his best game of the season and even better than the game he had against KC, anything else will be bad TV for the Bills on Monday night.

They need to do something to mix it up against NE. They have to put Mac & Cheese on the ground!! Oliver should have a big game.. I never liked NE and its Kraft Mac & Cheese anyway...
-
Josh will have to play smart and make good decisions, the entire game. No int's !!!
