  1. Good teams also beat teams with an above .500 record during the season. We are have a big fat zero in that column right now......no wins.
  2. I believe this Sunday is our judgement day vs the Jets. A challenge has to be thrown down against the Bills and its coaching staff to correctly review and resolve the events of this last loss. You are either contenders or pretenders in this league. If Buffalo's offense & OL shows up with the same lack intensity and focus, or bad game planning we saw yesterday then this is a foregone conclusion that we just don't have what it takes to contend for a AFC title this year with our current roster and OC, especially on the offense line and in the backfield. I used to have a lot of faith that this teams coaches and locker room could get it done. Not so much anymore. It is really time suck it up and step up and show what you are made of. With 9 games to go you either decide to be the team you should be, or you keep on pretending that your current level of play is acceptable moving forward, when it clearly isn't. And this squarely falls on McD and Daboll right now. The atonement bell has been rung Buffalo, what team is going to answer this bell. This is what I will be watching for this coming Sunday.
  3. You don't release him, you sit him on the bench for the rest of the year. This is what you do... Ford = Benchwarmer!!
  4. Yes he did, and he did nothing at all to address the issue in the off season. How many time have you seen our RB's in the open field out run a defensive player. Straight up you haven't because quickness still does not equal or beat raw speed and power. We got Breida, we don't use him and he has been back shelved. We have no Jet sweeps anymore. We don't have any speed in the backfield at all. Just sad to have a OC that can't call plays to offset the what the defense is throwing at us during the game. Isn't that a requirement at OC in the NFL anymore. I just don't get the coaching philosophy in the last two games, very poor and way below average.
  5. A good RB in this position makes a catch on the 3 yard line and puts on a move on the LB close enough to dive into the end zone. Like I have said earlier we have no chance at these type's of plays due to our anemic RB's lack of speed and strength.
  6. Allen has not been sharp at all taking the option clearly that is best presented to him. He has constantly thrown bad passes to many times in situations like this and the result. Field goals. Last three games are proof of this.
  7. You are 100% right.. But as long as Daboll is calling these plays we will never get to this level of play calling during the game. Even Josh's audibles are not working...
  8. McD in the last two games should have pulled Daboll aside and Allen too, and come up with a game plan that works around this OL weaknesses. Every week we see the same Daboll lame play calling as the OL gets exposed over and over again, and its so obvious that this head coach does not know how to make changes within a game or at halftime and neither does his offensive coordinator. McD is afraid to even toss the damn red flag because he apparently is to chicken sh** to make a mistake. He did this last year too. He is starting to show his weakness, his game planning is non existent. What we saw today is exactly what we saw last week. The only difference is Josh had a epic meltdown today and we lost because of this.
  9. I agree but our running backs are not what I consider even close to elite either. They don't have elite speed, they are only average on catching balls, they are below average when it comes to avoiding contact by the first defender at the LOS, they can never seem to find or squeeze through a small seam or gap that a lot of other running backs typically do. We just seem to be missing the bigger stronger back that has the speed and can hit the LOS with quickness when its needed and sorely missed.
  10. Is it time to get real, This team is not a superbowl contender this year. Look up my posts last year while we were in the playoffs. I said we needed to get rid of Singletary and Moss. Our running backs are both junk... terrible, they still are. We need to start running the ball but we need better running backs for this to happen. Thanks to Beane. No improvement because of his decisions. Our OL is terrible and are made up of overpaid underperforming talent from other teams. And yeah the OL really sucks. But you have to be able to adapt at what a team is throwing at you during game time. Josh hasn't and neither has Daboll. Josh's second INT in this game is proof of him not making good decisions. That ball should never have been thrown. I am not asking for him to be perfect but I also would expect him to be more capable at reading what a defense is doing and make adjustments. Today he was flat out bad...terrible. He is playing hero ball again this year and that is not what a $250 mil quarterback does, and will not win doing it either. Josh last year did not miss as many throws or has been off target like he has been this year, through 8 games. I will usually watch the games twice. Just to see where we made bad decisions and through 8 games this year Josh has had more bad throws, that have been off target or thrown way behind a targeted receiver causing the receiver to stop and or reverse their direction just to try and even attempt a catch. He has missed to many open receivers that could have resulted in a huge offensive gain or play. Compare that to last year when he was actually leading the receiver or making the throws where the receiver could actually make the catch in front of them, without some super human effort to come down with the ball. He still gets rattled when being rushed from the outside and not stepping up into the pocket to get rid of the ball. Even when our OL was some what healthy which now it is not, he still can't deal with the pressure and Daboll is not helping him with plays to neutralize this pressure. Vegas thinks this team is a top 5 superbowl team odds wise. We have not beaten a team that has had a .501 record or better this year. Period!!! Since when is a team a superbowl contender that has not beaten a single team with a more than a .500 record. Vegas is drinking the Kool-Aid like they always do, and so are some other NFL experts too. We will not even win our division which is sad but true.
  11. Why because I am a fan that can truly call it like I see it. He has not been good this year. You are a fool if you think that his last three games he has played, have been played with a quarterback that is making the proper decisions when they need to be made. Josh is a just one of reasons for this this teams offensive fall off. But I don't hold you responsible for your lack of football IQ.
  12. Like I said he has regressed this year, he is missing throws, throwing bad on short passes, and off target, missing long passes. Not looking through his progressions. Was he really worth $250 million, you have to wonder. Just because you can make a throw once a game that is on a rope for 40 yards, you have to do that the entire game, which he has not done much at all this year.
  13. Patriots will win this division...Watch and see. I hope McD and Beano are happy they did nothing at the trade deadline.... They are both idiots. Terrible coaching and terrible assessment on the teams OL and RB needs this year. Total joke of a team, and pitiful performance against a 1 win team....
  14. Like I said Josh has completely regressed. No comparison to last years performance.
  15. It is unreal how bad this team has performed since the bye week.
  16. Josh has not progressed this year. He has regressed.... Terrible throw for his 2nd int....
  17. Can't win a Superbowl period!! Not with this teams personal on OL and RB....
  18. If we cant figure the these glaring DL & OL problem areas out during the bye week, I hate to say it but there is now way this team is going to win a AFC title game this year. The way the Bills have played against good teams this year might be fixable but they will never beat the likes of Tampa, Dallas or the Cardinals even if they manage to get to a SB. Not in their current form. This is not bashing. This is after watching all the other teams mentioned above every week play and seeing what they are doing week in and week out on the field. I absolutely hate the Cowboys but they are truly turning into a scary damn good team. Same too, for the Cardinals. We can only wait and see. Right now playing the way we are, I don't think we can even sweep the Patriots. We will lose in Foxborough.
  19. I really hope McD and Beane really looked close at Tampa last night. I said in my posts before the loss to KC that we had to have a running game to win vs KC. Guess what we did not run or even try and utilize our RB's at all, and just less than 10 touches is a joke. Our O-game plan sucked. I also said that the Bills were a enigma because we were the only team in the 2020 playoffs to get out rushed in every single playoff game and make it to the Conf Champ Game. Buffalo being so one sided on passing with no rushing game and expecting to beat the Buc's in a SB matchup is a complete fantasy... meaning Dream-on.... We had zero chance beating the Buc's the way they played last night. None at all. We have way to much work to do on our D to compete at the level Tampa's D played at last night. Our entire LB core is crap compared to Tampa's and if you could not see that in this game last night, then you need to stop drinking the Kool-Aid. Again I mentioned this in another of of my post about Edmunds vs the Buc's LB's. This is why our D line is Meh especially with what we paid for this D-Front 4. Our LB's are only just average at best, even Milano can't be mentioned as as elite LB, He really is above average at best and injury prone. He is not in the same league as Devin White, that's for damn sure. We need to stop offering average D-line players premium pay upgrades for a spot on the Defensive line, it has not worked!! Not having the ability to rush or knockdown opposing QB's with any level of consistency has been even bigger liability to this team, this coming season this needs to be addressed. We would have gotten embarrassed in the SB playing the Buc's. Like the we did when we played Dallas and lost 52-17. Like Steven A said it was a "Beat Down!!" Sorry being a die hard Bill's fan since the 1970's I am actually glad we lost in the AFC Championship game, I remember that Dallas SB game and it was not a good feeling after that ass whooping back then. The Bills pass only model of winning was not sustainable and not a SB winning formula period.
  20. Edmunds is a total bust. Can't read plays, his tackling skills are pathetic for a LB, constantly reads the play wrong too many times and is out of position. I watched the TB vs GB game yesterday and could not believe the difference in their LB's play vs our squad. TB's linebackers are ruthless. We don't have anything close to that. Even Milano who is the best of our LB's can't touch TB's LB core.
  21. We need to get rid of Moss and Motor period. Given the sample size we have witnessed of both players including last year and this season. They are to small and don't have the speed or strength to break the initial hit at the point of contact and they both lack speed to impact the plays at the LOS. Their receiving skills are questionable at best. I have watched so many other teams this year and the good backs like Chubb, Kamara and McCaffrey always seem to make a second move to find a opening to get through the LOS if they are initially stopped or hit, or they break off left or right of the initial hit to gain yards somewhere else on the LOS when they don't see any daylight. Our backs don't possess any of those skillset traits. I have seen them get hit and because of their size, they are either stopped at the initial point of impact or put on the ground shortly afterwards. Only once have I seen Motor or Moss truly make a move in the secondary that shows they have pure instinctive RB traits, to avoid a possible would be tackler. Good RB's consistently break tackles and make people miss. These two can't. Even when they are past the LOS in a somewhat open field. Although the O-Line is bad at run blocking, I can count too many times this year where our backs were a "Zero" threat when they got into the open field. They were terrible could not extend plays and get yardage that other backs in this league would. We need to find another Karlos Williams but without all the associated problems he had off the field.
