  1. Plenty of ST blunders this season too. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2022/12/29/23529690/buffalo-bills-special-teams-breakdowns-blocked-punt-nyheim-hines-fair-catch Teflon Leslie walked away unscathed after :13, though. Just as bad as the :13 defensive sequence were the immediately preceding and succeeding defensive possessions. But, I guess those weren't at all actionable...not like the stakes were 20x than in a random Week 10 game.
  2. Do you think that if :13 seconds had never happened, Farwell still would have been fired?
  3. Why do you think that Salgado was fired this year, and Farwell after last season?
  4. Alpha, to piggyback on your point, look at the Bengals' offensive outputs in the weeks leading up to the Divisional Round Game: vs. Baltimore (WC Game): 17 offensive points, 234 yards vs. Baltimore (Week 18): 20 offensive points, 257 yards vs. NE (Week 16):22 offensive points (none after halftime), 442 yards vs. TB (Week 15): 34 offensive points, 237 yards [TB had 4 turnovers, which resulted in short fields for CIN] vs. CLE (Week 14): 23 offensive points, 363 yards As we know, CIN was having its way with the Bills defense in Week 16, prior to the Hamlin incident.
  5. I feel like it was around half time of the GB game. Honestly, I didn't really care for the game plan for PIT, either. Stats were super gaudy, but I thought that it was a bit of Fool's Gold. Watching how sharp and precise the offense was in Week 1 gives me hope that Dorsey has it in him to game plan an efficient, smart offense.
  6. Hmm...a lot of passes thrown <10 past the LOS. Crazy how effective that is.
  7. I put the Houston game on the D as well. A 16-0 lead in the 3rd quarter simply cannot be surrendered. IMO, the defense was bad in 6/9 playoff games.
  8. 2 bad playoff games? I wish it were only 2 bad games.
  9. Yeah, without looking it up, I can say with certainty that averaged far more than 6-7 touches per game. He's decent low-end RB1 or high-end RB2, but he just wasn't reliable enough his time here.
  10. He hasn't played poorly in the post-season so far in his career, but I'm not quite sure what he has done to warrant the rep and hype. With that absolutely loaded set of skill players, it's surprising to me the Bengals haven't scored more than 27 points in any post-season game with Burrow, or that Burrow hasn't thrown for over 300 yards in any single post-season game.
  11. Mommy deleted her Twitter last night.
  12. One of these post-seasons, he'll put up a big yardage game and lead his team to a 30-point performance
  13. Seems pretty clear that the Chiefs used the yapping from the Bengals (and the Cinci mayor) as motivation.
  14. Yep, he's supposed to be an adult professional athlete. Grow up, and learn how to conduct yourself in public.
  15. Couldn't agree more. Last season, defense had picks against Tannehill late in regulation and against Mahomes in OT, resulting in GW FGs. Derek Carr also did Derek Carr things at the end of the WC game last season.
  16. His playoff rep is largely undeserved. Glad someone pointed it out.
  17. He and his brother have the emotional maturity of hormonal twelve year olds. I'm surprised he didn't throw something at or physically assault the hecklers.
  18. So the Bengals had, by far, their best offensive performance in the post-season against the Bills.
  19. I know. I was just trying to take a shot at Capt. Corny, Joe "Mr. Cool" Burrow.
  20. Didn't really back up their talk today, did they? Joe Cool hung 20 on a slapdick defense. Lawrence played better last week than Burrow did this week - and Lawrence had to play against Sneed and Gay.
  21. Joe Kewl?
  22. So the stout KC defense held Burrow and the Bengals to 20 points? Bravo, Leslie. Also, maybe pump the brakes on the Burrow worship a bit? Maybe put up a few (hell, start with one?) 30+ point, 350+ yard games in the post-season?
  23. Not really - they made the opposition work and earn it.
