  1. I think they are trying to sell it to us as ‘their feet got tangled’ so I’m not sure it would’ve mattered but maybe …I do agree it was a bizarre looking play that diggs beat his man so badly that the guy ripped at his jersey with both hands and still couldn’t bring him down. Defender is even stunned he got away with that one guaranteed
  2. That play at the end of regulation was a little weird looking but there’s enough officials at enough angles where I’m sure they saw it properly and just swallowed their whistles to ‘not impact the game’ but that’s what they precisely ended up doing
  3. For me it’s the intent of the defenders that makes me angry…we can harp on the fade call but diggs beat his man and Davis’ only hope was to drag diggs down with him and maybe save the game on a goal line stand. You can even see him pound his hand on the ground like sh*t I just blew the game. And that earlier jersey rip of diggs he beat everyone and was going to be open for a huge gain. People are talking like the defense was in a good position and it was a tossup call that didn’t go in our favor. These were all absolute desperation holds that I’m sure the defense was even surprised they weren’t called. In order to catch the ball? Pi absolutely should’ve been called there and you give away absolutely any hope of that if you do that…that’s insanity.
  4. I’m not sure how you deal with dragging a defender with you that is holding you as obviously as possible haha that might literally be the worst no call I’ve ever seen…the one to end the game was bad also but Davis did a somewhat nice acting job to make it look like they tangled feet when really he just straight up lost a handcheck battle and then ripped diggs down by his jersey. That one doesn’t make me terribly mad until combined with the ridiculous OT call I’m not understanding what he’s trying to say…the bills should commit more penalties when the refs are only calling penalties on one team?
  5. That would’ve made the call on Wallace even funnier assuming that still happens in OT. evans was dangerously close to offensive pass interference when Wallace had the ball played perfectly and a shot at a game winning int …Brady threw an absolutely terrible ball there and was bailed out big time. It’s really the combination of that no call on diggs and that Wallace call in OT that grinds my gears…how do both those calls go against the wrong team Are you talking about diggs or Wallace? I was talking about the first half diggs play where the defender stretched his jersey 20 yards lol the one late in the game was pretty awful as well but that first half play was criminal
  6. Levi Wallace played that ball absolutely perfectly to avoid a penalty…it was an incredible play. Diggs lost the ball in the air I think when the defender started ripping his jersey off…the ball didn’t land in stride with him he got rerouted a bit it looked like. Not to mention that is the most obvious pass interference call in the history of the world that the defender clearly did intentionally to save a td and it is absolutely laughable it wasn’t called and twice as laughable we are trying to blame diggs for it. That play had the Robey-Coleman effect in my eyes…it was such a completely obvious PI that the fact that it wasn’t called led me to believe there was some obscure rule I did not know lol
  7. They didn’t when we played them I don’t see how that’s relevant when they lose aj brown Julio jones and Derrick Henry after we play them. They lost to the jets and got absolutely smoked by NE without those guys so you could play this ‘how they performed against other teams’ game in both directions. I wouldn’t say we’re overrated at all I think we’ve got potential to put it together but I’d say right now the product on the field most people see is a fringe playoff team which matches the record
  8. Right I said some of the hits 😂 a lot of these times he might be calling his own number too it’s hard to say. But there’s gotta be some sweet spot for the ‘correct’ amount of qb runs to still be efficient on offense especially since they can’t run block for sh*t this year. Without that extra dimension they had absolutely no chance in quite a few games this season. I’m sure it was a focal point last week because that bucs run d is ferocious you don’t see a lot of handoffs to rbs against them no matter who they are playing Haha right at some point you are giving up on a season where sure we’re not playing well at the moment but the roster is pretty win now..to protect a qbs long term health. There’s gotta be a sweet spot and it’s funny coming from arians with a 40+ year old slow ass qb behind one of the best offensive lines in the nfl ‘oh I wouldn’t do that’ they scooped up Mitch trubisky to give them a chance in a worst case scenario
  9. I guess it depends on the definition of survive…if we’re talking about beating up on bad teams im sure trubisky could come in and win a game. If we are talking about potential playoff success I don’t give the titans any chance without Derrick Henry. At least josh isn’t a sitting duck on designed qb runs like he is on a passing play behind that oline. He kind of gets to control some of the hits I think that’s what the ravens coaching staff says about Lamar as well. This is a bit coulda shoulda woulda but they are literal inches on josh Allen scrambles away from 9-4 sitting in the 1 seed right now so it’s gotta be give and take I guess…sometimes fighting for a couple inches is the difference in a whole season
  10. If we win next week and NE wins two in a row we are up around 70 % to make the playoffs still. Problem is if the colts win we really cannot afford losing to NE but it gives us a shot at the division…that would turn it into a tossup where we need a decent amount of help…I hate to say it but I wouldn’t mind NE winning next week. All the afc contenders have pretty brutal schedules incoming so I still like our chances. Us upsetting NE seems a lot more likely than some of these teams beating kc or gb or arizona
  11. Yea could that could definitely be the case…although the bucs softer defense was specifically supposed to prevent allowing quick scores and how did that go. They kind of reminded me of the falcons in that super bowl vs NE where they came out with their hair on fire and completely gassed out down the stretch. I think the opposing coach has done some really questionable stuff and we were a play away of making them look like fools both games 🤣 that belichick gameplan against us has really soured on me now that the shock of running the ball 4000 times and winning the game has worn off Have we had a first and goal on the 1 ever this season? I can’t think of one offhand. Denying a sneak is pretty difficult within a yard Yea it’s a fair point and I have argued that as well but at the end of the day it doesn’t count as anything more than a moral victory if you believe in such things. A Brady-led team is not gonna lose on a call like that regardless of how unfair it is…I’ve watched three or four bucs games start to finish the last two years and the bucs got a game saving call/no call in every single one
  12. Haha this is actually kind of new for us in my opinion…we are the underperforming team that could maybe go on a run if we get our sh*t together. We are certainly battle tested this year and have had to adapt to all kinds of terrible situations…it felt like we were on cruise control last season until the playoffs then the colts were dangerously close to bouncing us in the first round
  13. Na we are the tremaine edmunds of football teams this year…tons of potential and we could turn it on at any moment but it has not happened against a great team for 60 minutes outside of the chiefs game and may never happen.
  14. Yep I feel like there’s an optimistic side you can look at or a pessimistic side after this most recent loss. It dilutes the colts game where we were absolutely stomped for 60 minutes and that looks more like an outlier than we can’t compete against good teams. Flip side is that these have been almost all close losses and there are no moral victories…close loss in the playoffs gets you nothing
  15. Yea that is truly a shame but what can you do…also josh going out of bounds by like an inch on the previous play. Just feels like that kind of stuff keeps happening to us and our luck is gonna change. If he’s got smaller feet we likely have 2 more wins this season 😂
  16. Hurts our wildcard chances though lol that is truly a strange game for us rooting interest wise
  17. I have a funny feeling that that’s the case as well but it could be just wishful thinking…those are two pretty similar teams on paper. Teams I thought we were well built to compete with though and we lost to NE so what do I know lol seems like we like to run a lot of nickel and these well balanced teams that aren’t really transcendental running the football really struggle against our defense. Hoping that NE loss was wind related but it’s also very possible the pats offense gets much more effective in good conditions also when mac can mix in some throws and play action Also a fair point if the season ended today…I feel like we’re going to start connecting on some of these big plays but that’s based on almost nothing 😂
  18. Haha I’m in the same boat as you and I’m too sad to rewatch any games usually 😂 but strictly from the eye test it seems like moss is our only rb that can block It’s interesting to me that Knox has emerged as a big target pass catching threat (NE game aside) and we have gotten even worse in the red zone lol
  19. Yea depending on where you’re looking they’re using some algorithm to predict each individual game and we’re probably a pretty decently sized underdog to lose in foxborough. That colts/pats game is extremely strange I think for strictly making the playoffs we want the pats to win
  20. Yea that play was upsetting because Levi did such a great job avoiding the penalty in a very difficult situation Lol he could be right you never know…I have absolutely no clue what’s gonna happen down the stretch. I’m still not very sure it the wind really hurt us a lot more than the pats…guess we’ll find out…unless it’s windy again 🤣
  21. That pass in the pats game felt pretty unlucky…really a lot of these losses do. Josh threw a perfect ball but to account for the wind the ball ended up in a spot where it was difficult for diggs to track. Hoping our luck changes going forward we are just snakebit and can’t make one more play a game despite numerous opportunities. bucs and titans games we probably win both if Josh’s shoe is a half size smaller 😂 Steelers receivers just made every play in tight coverage against us it was absurd. Colts and jaguars losses were bad news and pretty unforgivable. Playoffs are a whole new ballgame if we make it there I think we’re capable of anything
  22. We seem to be better on the road than at home…it would be pretty comical if we get the 6 or 7 seed and see the Derrick Henry-less titans in the first round. I’d much prefer that to a home game against the colts. Then I don’t hate our chances against NE in round 2…the afc playoffs are truly a fresh start I could see absolutely anyone winning any game what would not be comical is missing the playoffs 😂 Yea that bengals game was scary last week
  23. That’s a fair point so far. If the season ended today I’d say he miscalculated focusing on beating up mahomes. The chiefs are even winning with tough defense these days so they will likely give our offense problems.
  24. It’s still goin let’s let them finish it out first lol if they miss the playoffs I’m with you gene but the narrative is starting to shift a little bit in my mind at least and right now I’d say we’re a really tough out in the playoffs with a chance to do something special. Colts game seems like a bit of a statistical outlier now that we’ve played a lot of great teams tough right down to the wire home or away. (Granted we’ve come up short in almost all of those games so you could definitely be right on about the negative outlook) Maybe I’m dramatizing the pats dismantling of us in the Brady days but welker and Edelman looked darn near uncoverable for a majority of their careers. They were the perfect scheme fit for that offense
  25. Bruce Arians would never let them run according to his press conference 😂 what a clown…imagine telling Lamar Jackson ‘hey man stay in the pocket you might get hurt’ even after he comes back from his injury he wouldn’t be listening to that By definition of what the mvp SHOULD be I think there’s no question it’s josh. What a gutsy season from him hopefully he gets a chance to do something special in the playoffs. Will it actually be him though most likely not It’s all pretty relative…look at the titans their whole offense runs through a rb and Derrick Henry got hurt. Josh’s qb carries got us right back into a huge game and we were literally an inch away from chasing you guys down for the division lol now it’s a very long shot. Crazy they lost the titans and bucs games by literal inches both those games felt very similar
