12/19/21 Gameday Bills vs Panthers Postgame Thread
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
We made two absolutely colossal mistakes early against the pats last time and still had about 15 different opportunities to win the game -
How are we supposed to feel about this win??
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Still haven’t seen the game but this was a worse starting offensive line than even what we rolled with against the jaguars and we scored 31 on a much better defense People don’t seem to understand how bad missing TWO offensive linemen is. Missing one you can kind of scheme your way around with minimal position shuffling…two starts to get unmanageable -

I haven’t watched the game yet but Spencer brown started at LT and people expected a high powered offense? -

I really don’t think our offensive line can play much worse than they have been no matter who is in there lol -

They are really hanging onto that colts loss we had huh lol the colts have steamrolled a bunch of teams. Outside of that we lost every single close game that could’ve gone either way and got hosed against the bucs Yea assuming we beat the pats a colts win last night was great but that’s a big assumption -

Haha fair point but if they beat us again that theory is back on 😂 I will say the pats don’t seem to get any help like the bucs do -

Could be a one game thing for them but they looked just about the furthest thing from the dominant team the talking heads have been trying to sell us on. Also they left the door to the division wide open since we have the division tiebreaker and we play them again. That loss was objectively huge for them -

A colts loss would’ve helped our chances of making the playoffs more so you could’ve made a case for either team winning last night. Indy beating NE and then NE beating us is pretty much the disaster scenario for our playoff chances so it really comes down to what happens next week anyway -

I cannot stress enough how much better the colts oline is than ours especially in run blocking -

They’re gonna lose two in a row…most overrated team of all time. Streak would’ve ended weeks ago if they didn’t keep running into horribly injured contenders -

Dane Jackson did a pretty nice job against Gronk also -

Are we talking about against the colts? I like to think they would’ve added a linebacker but edmunds was hurt and that hurt how effective our linebackers would’ve been -
Strictly looking at percentages of us making the playoffs it’s better if the colts lose…if the colts win and we beat the pats it’s great,if the colts win and the pats beat us out playoff chances are about 50/50. I’d rather make sure we maximize our chances getting in it’s not like we’re great at home anyway

A Breakdown of the Failed Fake Punt vs the Buccaneers
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to HoofHearted's topic in The Stadium Wall
Amazing we lose on this play looking at that screencap lol pretty good play design -
I am far from a blocking assignment expert but I have seen a good amount of every teams offense this year since I mostly have red zone on one tv at all times and we easily look like the worst offensive line in the league in pass protection

Change Pass Interference to 15 yd penalty (edited title)
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Logically that’s a great idea…they used to have that for face masks right? I don’t trust these guys with judgement calls at all though lol I’m honestly at the point where I think no ref backyard football rules where players call their own fouls on the honor system would be a better product lol if penalties were completely turned off we maybe win against the bucs…part that pissed me off was not only were the bucs getting away with stuff but we were also getting hit with it -
Oof didn’t know this was the case…that could be the best team in the afc with him healthy

At least ne losing to Indy opens another road to the playoffs by winning the division…disaster scenario is ne loses to Indy then beats us. Our odds of winning the division absolutely skyrocket if NE loses two in a row. I don’t think Miami is gonna be a pushover for them either I’m sure Flores would love spoiling his old team
