Rodgers Traded to Jets Officially

Also they pretty much sold out to compete for the next 2 or so years. They could’ve used those picks to build a sustainably good roster -

Same issues for the jets as the Russell Wilson broncos too…although the jets offensive line isn’t broncos bad lol -

They got a lot for a guy that was clearly not gonna play for the packers regardless…rodgers injury aside they’re getting two seconds and a better first. -

Terrible long term move though imo…still don’t think they’re going to get through the tough afc to the Super Bowl. Givin up a lot to be back to square one in a few years when they have no qb and have to extend a bunch of their young guys who have been playing well -
The Cincy game & its affect on how we view the team

Didn’t impact games in the regular season? I’m not sure what you mean. The front 7 took a nosedive with von out…I’m not sure how anyone can disagree with that point. We went from top 5 in the league in pressure rate to bottom 1/4th. jets outgained us, NE outgained us, Miami put up 400+ yards. Just because we won still doesn’t mean it wasn’t an issue. It was just masked by an easy schedule to close out the year. -

Right lol that adds to my point but I thought that went without saying 🤣. -

Team is built around disguising looks with our safeties and the 4 man rush and we lost von, Micah hyde and poyer was playing hurt. We would’ve gotten lit up on defense down the stretch by great teams in the regular season too there just weren’t any on the schedule -

Our oline absolutely steamrolled them the first drive of the regular season matchup…not sure what happened the second time. They’re gonna score their points much like the chiefs are but that was such a huge failure on the offensive side too -
Poyer is back! Resigning with Bills

Do people assume they’re slowing just because of their age? Lol poyer had a great season even while battling through a ton of injuries. Micah hyde hasn’t really shown any slippage either -
We had two really flukey games against them that I think is clouding people’s perception a bit. The yardage totals we put up were insane. just about doubled up the dolphins offensive production in two of the three games
-
They didn’t give up less than 420 yards against us in any of the three matchups and it should’ve been much more if it weren’t for a few flukey plays. Not at all fully disagreeing with you but I think the term ‘significant improvement’ may be a stretch unless Xavien Howard return to form. He was awful last season(couldve been injury related) and teams will just pick on him. This idea that they have two lockdown corners is a stretch ramsey doesn’t have to cover long in LA which inflates his value a bit…they have been the best defensive line in football for a lot of his time there. Miami is no slouch either but they are definitely a tier below peak LA he obviously helps but I’m not expecting a complete defensive transformation they might honestly take a step backwards early in the season until they get more experience in the new system

Lol feels like it’s Opposite Day around here. 9/10 nfl fans are taking Hopkins over gabe Davis. Not to say anyone is right or wrong for preferring gabe Davis but you certainly can’t be a troll for liking Hopkins more
-
Sounding like it could be an attempt at Bobby Wagner
-
Edmunds ain’t bad by any means but he certainly wasn’t learning the things you supposedly can teach lol

Bills have shown interest in Lavonte David.

I don’t know what these people are smokin that say lavante is bottom of the barrel 😂. What the heck is edmunds then by that scale lol -
Jordan Poyer Discussion - Does he stay?

Josh’s deal about to look like a steal lol that deshaun Watson deal has really fiddled with the market. At least a lot of the other top teams will be in the same (or a worse) boat 🤣 -
Xavien Howard was awful last year…could be injury related though. People should pump the breaks on them having two great corners until X potentially returns to form I don’t really understand the dolphins…resource wise they’re all in but the odds of tua winning 4 straight playoff games is extremely low. He’s good at what he likes to do but he’s not gonna win a shootout with mahomes and playoff caliber defenses are going to take away the middle of the field. They’re in danger of not being able to resign some great young players coming off rookie deals the next few years and are likely going to be in the qb market after next season.
-
Clearly we don’t rely on just one superstar player because the von miller/Micah hyde injuries absolutely sunk us. The defensive line went from one of the best in the league to one of the worst and when we couldn’t pressure with 4 our banged up secondary struggled. If you took chris jones away from the chiefs midseason there’s no chance they win the Super Bowl.
-
It was on 3rd down/would’ve been 4th…absolutely enormous call
-
The margin of error in playoff football is so small that one call often can swing a game. Takes luck and skill to win a Super Bowl for that very reason. It was a quick hand in the jersey and release within the approved jamming receiver area…receivers are getting tied up with jersey grabs constantly in that area of the field with no call and I didn’t expect a game with no penalties on either secondary for 58 minutes to be when that changed lol I really don’t think bradberry throws that quick grab in if it was being called more tightly
-
It was 4th down and they are kicking the fg 100% there. Eagles would’ve had like a minute and a half and a timeout down 3 to tie/win. Monumentally huge call
-
The chiefs secondary plays like that all game long though…that grabby secondary is pretty much their identity.. you just can’t call that in that spot. Absolutely insane
-
They wouldn’t have been the 1 this year if their division wasn’t straight garbage…6 free wins pretty much. Would’ve been the bengals or bills

Mahomes is the new Brady with league exposure
