  1. I'm not Debbie Downer'ing this, but my god... if the pass works like this all day, don't switch to the run (and vice versa).
  2. Let's go!!! Shower then ribs coming up at halftime. GO!!!!!
  3. Also, again? Dallas. Da fugg. That team. I just don't get it.
  4. TB. Come on. It was supposed to be anti-climactic, like Drew Bledsoe/Buffalo 2002 anti-climactic. *****. Seriously. I want to see that team pay an on-field tribute to the 2000 Redskins.
  5. 1pm games? Fine. 8'ish pm Sunday games? Fine. It's the 4pm deal that gets stuck in my craw. So, to counter, I have two racks of baby back ribs that went into the smoker @ 250 about half hour ago (I did a dry rub and let them sit, covered, in the fridge, for 24+ hours). And 2 hours from now I'll be smoking sweet potatoes for about 3 hours (they are magic if you are curious about it). As for the game, this alignment of food will fit perfectly with the commercial breaks, and this is a decent match up for the Bills. Stuff my face with ribs and smoked sweet potatoes and this spicy slaw that my wife makes will bring this afternoon together. Go Bills!
  6. This game was so meaningless to me that I checked the score earlier when I checked in on TBD, i.e. I did not watch the game. Go Bills!
  7. 10 or better is where I think things are going.
  8. I'm not sure that Jackson is done, and I would opine that he is not... by a long shot. Having written that, I'd rather have Allen than Jackson. While I don't agree with your premise of the end of the Jackson era, your analysis of why Mahomes and Allen work -- where Jackson struggles -- is solid.
  9. Butker?! Barely even knew her! Seriously, though. C'mon, dude.
  10. Heck, even Brady/Manning had the ability to go 11-6 (Brady). Not so close with these two, me thinks.
  11. Some in media have talked about the next great rivalry as one between Mahomes and Jackson. Not seeing it.
  12. I would call bologna on this, but then I realized that Marrone is in the mix.
  13. Hear hear, in a way. It would be great if the Bills could get another 1.5 years of mileage out of stomping the Jets twice each year under his leadership.
  14. Gase boggles the mind, in particular his snarkastic pressers. He and Gregg Williams (and to a certain extent Rex Ryan) share the same DNA where it's all rhetoric and swagger and then their teams end up sub-.500, or in the case of the Jets this year -- they could hit a perfect .000.
  15. It's astounding to me that Gase still has a job is my takeaway from Week 3. That team is putrid.
  16. Well, at least we finally have a QB on our team who is capable of pulling one off. You are right, however, about the near collapse that started in the second half. Ugly!
  17. I'm not even close to there yet. I've lived through Hank Bullough and Gregg Williams and Dick Jauron and Chan Gailey and Rex Ryan and a Bologna Sandwich. McD > all those guys. Now let's watch this team to get to the next level, a deep run in the playoffs, and take it from there.
  18. Yeah, as crushing as the loss to Houston was in last year's playoffs, and even with the adversity of the second half of this game, something smells different (and better) this year.
