  1. You know how many 30 year old WR had 900+ yards last year?? 0. That's all the math you need. Don't sign 30+ WR to big money.
  2. Idea 1 Have a round table with the players and have them play two truths and a lie, with the players guessing each others lie, most right wins... will be a fun thing for fans to watch the players interact with each other and tell the fans some interesting info about themselves. Idea 2 Have a cooking competition for the best tailgate chefs, judged by a panel of players.
  3. False. They saw a picture of him in shorts. That was the moment 😍
  4. So funny to me that Mayfield requested the Colts then the Colts went and grabbed someone else. I think Mayfield ends up in Seattle and he's a tool so he'll probably fit well with Pete Carroll. They have great weapons and he will fail miserably killing his shot as a reliable starter anywhere else. He'll be mixed into QB competitions after. Panthers and Saints are the next most likely spots IMO... Falcons might be interested but I would be then squarely after these two. I don't think he would fit with the mentality of Detriot leadership. Wild card teams to me are the Giants, Eagles, and Dolphins.
  5. The problem is that 3 year extension is ages 31, 32, 33... he might be cooked at age 32. Julio Jones had 99 Rec for 1394 yards age 30, and has been utterly useless age 31 and 32, now cut only 1 year after Ten traded a 2nd rounder. The fact of the matter is not a single WR age 30+ had 1,000 yards last year... in fact the highest yardage by a WR age 30 or older last year was AJ Green with 848 Yards, good for 32nd in the NFL... and to make matters worse there were only 3 WR age 30+ that had even 700 yards -- Green, Marvin Jones, and Theilen. We have Diggs signed through age 30.
  6. Love Diggs... but... he is 29 years old this year. I have reservations about committing stupid money to a 30 year old WR.
  7. He wasn't even "bad" those two years. From the perspective of him being a rookie he had a solid rookie year. That WR corps was completely devoid of talent and one of the worst I've ever seen in my life on any team. His 2nd year wasn't bad at all either, pretty solid.
  8. We going to give Von the green dot and allow him to override the play calls?
  9. Hahaha this is soooooo much better than $7 MM for McKissic... Jesus... JD renegging bailed out Beane from a bad decision. Thank God.
  10. I like Knox but dude has a long way to go to be elite. He's good, he's got great size and physical ability, but he makes some horrendous bone head plays and drops. I'm amazed how he can make an insane high point leaping grab while twisting... then in the next possession drop a routine easy catch wide open right in his mittens. The inconsistency with the hands blows my mind, I think it's a focus issue where in the big plays he's dialed in and drifting on routine plays. He has the physical ability to be elite. He needs to execute consistently though.
  11. I would be all over this kid. Well worth they money and risk given the return isn't bad. Perhaps Zack Moss would be of interest in return?
  12. Very nice great slot guy just often injured. Manage his reps and he can be a solid contributor. Not sure how well he can move still though.
  13. Deal or bury Moss... still draft a back but a guy with size and explosiveness, I wouldn't be opposed to even drafting a RB in round 1 or 2 like Walker, would be a cheap way (cap wise) to get impact production. Duke shouldn't be a camp body, he should be a specialized pass catching back. I think Moss had the hottest seat.
  14. Completely disagree, Duke has a better build (shorter but stockier), faster, quicker. He's better than McKissic and almost certainly cheaper once we get the details. Good signing for a pass catching back, this is all you need. No need to invest $7 million in a 29 year old JAG like Mckissic.
  15. If he does go to Atlanta, then Matt Ryan is a perfect fit for Indy and I expect that to happen.
  16. Not sure if it was mentioned, but this $3.5 MM is the same money that was going to McKissic... if that's the case this is such a better move for this franchise. Excellent.
  17. He's just angling for the Southwest "wanna get away?" commercials
  18. Oh my God did we miss his size in the rotation. I love this as long as it is cheap.
  19. Loved Beaz and his time here, but at 33 years old he lost a considerable amount of his explosiveness. It was extremely noticeable. He's taken a lot of hits and not a big guy. It had to be done. Best of luck to him in his post-football career. Maybe he tries to hang around for another year or two somewhere else but his days of being an impact slot guy are likely over.
  20. It's not people that disagree, it's what certain people say in response or how they justify their opinions. It's the response that McDermott is untouchable because of what the several coaches before him were like. It's the response of "some of you forget what the drought was like" or it's the mere fact that people still bring up the drought when things go bad to justify its not as bad as it used to be. I'm not saying all, no way not at all. But this thought process is pretty prevalent. Also I don't think I've questioned the passion for the team, I've certainly questioned an unwillingness for some to criticize the team/players, which is different. I don't question the desire to win a Chamionship, but many lack the willingness to make the hard calls that need to happen to get there, or are too emotionally attached to specific guys. Overall, the fan base itself tends to be more emotionally attached than other sports fan bases which has its positives but also negatives.
  21. He just picked the two worst situations... two teams with negligent cap management, no weapons (falcons at least not saints), and soon to be no draft picks. Carolina is the prime spot for him... but then against I have no idea was the spa scene is like there.
  22. I think it is the complete opposite. The drought has made fans too complacent with just being relevant and not sucking. That merely making the playoffs then peeing down your leg and wasting potential is somehow acceptable because we used to suck years ago. A very large chunk of the fan base does not have a winning mentality. The drought breeded a lot of fans that feel not sucking is success. It's not.
