Triggering your response was pretty funny. -
After nine games, where do you think the Bills end up this season?

Where do you think the Bills end up this season? If you voted previously, and wish to change your vote, you can do that pretty easily, just click "show vote options" -
Why not. If Diggs is the first read on 16 plays and he is open on all 16, he should get 16 targets.

We clobbered the commanders recently. You thesis is mostly imaginary.

If the Bills defense is healthy, they're 6-1 right now
Chaos replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Also if they did not choke away two very winnable games, they would be 6-1. -
To clarify, a defense that needs a 14 point lead to be effective is a crappy defense.

I checked the rule book again to make sure. Points scored in the third quarter and fourth quarter count the same as point scored in the first half. Again no team in the NFL is winning games because they always enter the final two minutes with a lead and the ball or at least a nine point lead. Against the patriots the defense had only been on the field for 25 minutes entering the final two minutes with a lead. Giving up a forty yard screen play on first down means we were massively out coached , or we injury depleted defense is not up to minimal NFL standards. very few posters will understand the significance of this. But it is pretty meaningful information

Over the last three games the Bills have statistically the worst defense in the NFL. This is certainly due to injuries. But the reason does not change the problem. Very bad defense. If opposing teams put up 127 passer ratings and run for 4 yards per carry as the Mac Jones led patriots did the Bills will almost certainly lose. Against the Jets and the Patriots the Bills offense struggled but actually played the full 60 minutes and gave the team two good chances to win. It’s seems we are doing everything we can on offense to keep our defense off the field. The Bills controlled time of possession in both of those games.

Well, the Bills have actually outscored KC this season. The difference is the Bills choked away two very winnable games (Jets overtime with the ball, Patriots lead with less than 2 minutes). Chiefs have won their winnable games, Bills have not. Chiefs are not 6-1 because they are entering the fourth quarter with 20 point leads. The Bills have a choking problem, not an offense problem. Reverse the chokes and the Bills are 6-1.

Everything is possible. You might win the power ball lottery with the purchase of a single ticket. But most likely you won't. That is how statistics work. That fact that HC-QB superbowl combos have clicked pretty quickly in history is an indicator that is common, while taking years and years to click is rare. Even recently, Hurts/Siriano , Taylor Burrow, Ried / Mahomes, McVay Goff, Mcvay Stafford, Arians/ Brady all are situations from the last couple of years of things clicking quickly. But none of these teams had a process, so the Super Bowl appearances are more or less not satisfactory to their fan bases.

Josh’s stats so far - the Ken Dorsey Offense
Chaos replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the offense is running in neutered position, because their is a priority to keep the defense off the field as long as possible. Statistically over the last three games, over the course of full games (second half points still count as points), the Bills are actually one of the top offenses in scores per possession. This includes three missed field goals by Bass. It is not clear at all that "anemic" is a fair description.
