I have a hypothesis re: Allen that checks a couple boxesBilll replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Tyreek had 4 baby mamas in 2023 alone and still put up 1800 yards and 13 TDs.

Beane should have grabbed Tyquan Thornton in the offseason. He’d have been a good fit with his length and deep speed.

It’s not that strange when you watch Coleman do footwork drills. He literally goes knock-kneed every time he changes direction. I remember seeing a video of Stefon Diggs running a similar drill a few years back and being blown away by his footwork. Keon is the polar opposite of that. He looks like a baby giraffe trying to run routes.

It’s inexcusable that the 170th pick in the draft isn’t ready to start in game 7 of his rookie season? In all probability, his upside is career backup based solely on his draft slot.

Cornelius Johnson, Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, Tahj Washington, Xavier Weaver, Javon Baker, Ainias Smith, Johnny Wilson, Jordan Whittington, and Tayvion Robinson are all complete and total busts to this point. A few of them have literally never taken a snap in the NFL. Tahj Washington is on the chart right between Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. despite having played 3 career snaps without registering a stat. This chart is a complete fabrication.

It’s 100% meaningless. There is literally zero value in this chart. You want proof? Take a look at Cornelius Johnson on the center left. He’s never played a snap in the NFL. Tahj Washington is next to Malik Nabors. Tahj has played 3 career snaps and has never recorded a stat. This chart has no value whatsoever.

McConkey is a stud, but this chart is meaningless. Roman Wilson is a complete bust to this point, and he charts as elite.
-
You failed to factor in the part where Beane also traded away the only true #1 WR Josh has ever had during that period.

	Egbuka is a stud.

Joe Marino's 9 point plan for improvementBilll replied to D. L. Hot-Flamethrower's topic in The Stadium Wall Some of this is fine (throwing more to the RBs), but most of it is just paper-shuffling. He’s saying to feature Larry Ogunjobi, Michael Hoecht, Shaq Thompson, Joshua Palmer, Jordan Poyer, and Dawson Knox. Is that list of names really going to change anything? The other two suggestions are to play your first round CB and Dalton Kincaid when they get healthy and to add more talent (not exactly novel ideas). I feel like this list is more of an indictment of Beane than it is useful suggestions for McDermott.

MNF - Bucs at Lions: Texans at Seahawks (no Bills stuff please)Billl replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall Isn't that a first down for Houston and a touchback (penalty notwithstanding)?

Barnwell: Wrong takes article that includes BillsBilll replied to BillsVet's topic in The Stadium Wall I think you’ve got that backwards. When Brady took over, Josh’s rushing attempts went through the roof. He averaged 9 carries a game after the switch whereas he never had 9 carries in a game that season when Dorsey was calling the plays.

The Athletic - some grim stats (new Tim Graham piece)Billl replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Imagine not giving credit to Brady for winning his 7th Super Bowl in dominant fashion because he didn’t rack up a ton of passing yards.

Seems like Rashee Rice should be added to that list.

Let's take a break from Bills talk: TNF Week 7: Pittsburgh at CincinnatiBilll replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall He meant unibrow.

SNF: Detroit @ Kansas City (no Bills stuff in this thread please)Billl replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall “Penalty enforcement: Verifying the proper application of rules and penalty administration.” And it wasn’t illegal formation. It was illegal motion.

SNF: Detroit @ Kansas City (no Bills stuff in this thread please)Billl replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall That’s simply not true. If people would spend 10% as much time learning the rules as they do complaining about the officiating, there would be a lot less to discuss, I suppose. The NFL has expanded the types of plays where the AMGC can provide objective input to the on-field crew. For the 2025 season, these include: Penalty enforcement: Verifying the proper application of rules and penalty administration. Spot of the ball: Confirming the correct spot relative to a first down, goal line, or end zone. Complete/incomplete passes: Replay can confirm the result of a reception. Boundary lines: Confirming if a ball or player touches a boundary line. Game clock: Making sure the game and play clocks are managed correctly. Specific fouls: Input is provided on certain objective fouls, including hits to the head or neck, horse-collar tackles, or tripping.

Change PI to match the college rule. Make it spot of the foul up to a maximum of 15 yards.

SNF: Detroit @ Kansas City (no Bills stuff in this thread please)Billl replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall So to be clear, you’re upset that the refs didn’t call the penalty timely enough? If so, I agree. They should have called it immediately. They got the call correct, but it would have been better if the flag had been thrown sooner. That said, the timeliness of the flag had no impact on the outcome of the play, so we can all take comfort in knowing that the call was made in accordance with the rules and that the game was not impacted by the officials nearly letting the Lions have an undeserved TD.

SNF: Detroit @ Kansas City (no Bills stuff in this thread please)Billl replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Here’s the rule as written in the rule book: Item 3. T-Formation Quarterback. It is legal for a T-Formation Quarterback to go in motion, whether he has placed his hands under center, on his knees, or on the body of the center. However, it is a false start if the action is quick and abrupt. If the player fails to come to a complete stop for at least one full second prior to the ball being snapped, it is illegal motion It is also illegal motion if a T-Formation Quarterback goes in motion and fails to come to a complete stop for at least one full second prior to the snap. There is nothing prohibiting the officials from conferring about whether the QB broke a rule or not any more than there is to prevent them from conferring about intentional grounding, illegal touching, or any other penalty. The officials got it right. Just admit that you wanted the Chiefs to get screwed by a missed call.
