  1. Fine but that was the #1 pick. Where the Bills are picking who knows how the board will fall. I am sure Beane has a good idea of who he wants and expects to be there at #30 but if teams go off the board then that could change things. You know how Beane and McDermott are as they are tight lipped about everything. They always appear to be giving a detailed answer in a press conference but in reality they don't say ****.
  2. I wouldn't put much stock in these reports. Every team has their poker face on at this point. Remember the 2018 draft when the "experts" were sure the Browns would take Darnold #1. How did that work out.
  3. The division has gotten better. It will be difficult for them to go 6-0 again. My guess is the Bills win between 12-14 games.
  4. What's odd is the Yankees always seem to struggle with the Rays who have a payroll of about 10 bucks. I don't know how TB does it but they find a way to field a competitive team with a small payroll. I am not going to panic yet with the Yankees despite the slow start. There is a lot of baseball left to play.
  5. I remember George saying "the two most important things in life are breathing and winning and not necessarily in that order".
  6. The "bright lights" and "big city" appeal of East Rutherford, NJ doesn't count?
  7. Steelers and Bills on SNF seems like a good bet. Last two years they played on SNF.
  8. I will guess the Jets. The league for whatever reason likes having these two play week 1. I am curious see in their history who the Bills have opened up most against. Would not surprise me if it was the Jets.
  9. I say they get 4 when the schedule comes out but could be flexed into a 5th one like last year when the Bills-Broncos game got flexed to Saturday.
  10. Mid May just like last year. The Falcons announced that one of their home games will be played in London assuming the virus doesn't change that plan. Atlanta Falcons announce they will play one home game in London during 2021 season (msn.com)
  11. Forgot to mention the 22-16 win over the Dolphins combined with the Bengals win over the Ravens which ended the streak.
  12. They traded up to #7 or somewhere around there. If the Browns took Darnold #1 then maybe the Jets would have taken Allen at #3. Glad it worked out for the Bills.
  13. It was the Browns who threw the curveball in that 2018 draft. Everyone had Darnold going #1 but they chose Mayfield. If they would have taken Darnold then who knows if Allen falls to the Bills.
  14. From a Jets standpoint it will be the rest of this year's draft (not the #2 pick) and next year's draft that will tell the story. The Bills are the perfect example for the Jets to follow. If JD does a good job building the team around Wilson then he has a good chance to succeed. If not then Wilson is Darnold, Sanchez, and so on of Jets QB failures.
  15. The old Jets fans battle cry..."Darnold is better than Allen". Now we will get the new one..."Wilson is better than Allen".
  16. I wish their was a video of the full game for the 1980 opener when they ended the streak vs the Dolphins. That was one of the most memorable regular season games in franchise history.
  17. I remember the old Godzilla movies with cheesy graphics and background. The army tanks were the size of a match box cars and some 5 foot Japanese man would be stomping around in a kiddie pool wearing a lizard suit to make it look like he was coming out of the ocean. I used to love those movies as a kid.
  18. Yes. Anges Moorehead.
  19. Here is another clue....Elizabeth Montgomery.
