  1. I think it was Yogi Berra who said "every team will win 50 and every team will lose 50, its what you do in the other 62 that determine what kind of season you have." Of course there examples where that isn't always the case like 62 Mets who won something like only 40.
  2. Sorry about that. For some reason I can't post the link. I Thanks for posting the link. As I mentioned to the previous poster it won't let me do it for some reason.
  3. Jim McMahon: Bill Belichick's a "lying piece of sh-t" - ProFootballTalk (nbcsports.com) Although reading the article doesn't make McMahon look good either.
  4. SRV
  5. NFL players would be dead if they had to play a longer season like the NHL. The players probably don't even want a 17 game season. It will probably go to 18 at some point but they really can't go beyond that. Their is a reason why this is a once a week sport.
  6. That team was 9-7 and needed a Dalton miracle to get in. That team had one and done written all over it. I remember Bills fans being happy just to end the playoff less streak. I don't think anyone had any expectations of a playoff run that year. The 2021 season is a different story as their is a lot of pressure on the Bills now with expectations thru the roof in WNY.
  7. I didn't know Phil was that difficult. Even though Phil was a big part of the band I always thought of Bob as the #2 main guy. He along with Jerry were the two co-lead singers thru out most of their run. The early years featured Pigpen and Brent and Phil would occasionally sing but to me Jerry and Bob basically co-fronted the band. If Phil didn't want to do the shows then they should have done them without him. With Jerry gone Bob is now the sole frontman of the band anyway.
  8. Looking back at the "Fare Thee Well" shows I was surprised they didn't come to the east coast. From Boston, NYC area, Philly, Washington they were especially successful and popular. I get the SF shows (hometown) and Chicago (last shows with JG) but they really should have done some EC shows. IMHO
  9. I have seen them a bunch of times in the NYC area (MSG, Citi Field) and they were always sold out shows.
  10. Dan Campbell: I would love to have a pet lion at practice - ProFootballTalk (nbcsports.com) Isn't this the coach who said he wants his players to bite the kneecaps off the opposing team or said something like that. He will either be a great success or an epic train wreck. It should be fun to watch.
  11. If its still a 14 point spread at game time I would probably take the Texans. The Bills should win comfortably but you always have to worry about those garbage time TD's that lead to a back door cover. This isn't CFB where blowout wins are the norm. In the NFL I hate giving that many points.
  12. Kim Fields from Facts of Life show in the 80's
  13. Janet Jackson.
  14. He's a 4th year veteran whose had success both in the regular season and playoffs. He is also very familiar with Daboll's offense that he could probably call plays in his sleep. You can also tell he's much more confident in the pocket as the game appears to have slowed down for him. I expect him to have a great season this year.
  15. Both Miami and NE improved. The Jets also improved but they still don't have a team that should beat the Bills. It's also hard to go undefeated in the division since rivalry games are usually close. Even the Jets last year played the Bills tough. I hope they go 6-0 again but I doubt it.
  16. I have 4-2 in the division losing once to Miami and NE. I have road losses at KC, TEN, TB as well. My guess is 12-5
  17. Our defenses got their asses kicked in the Super Bowls. Against the Giants they couldn't get the ball back to the offense. Wash and Dallas just physically manhandled them. Although the 9 turnovers or whatever it was in the 1st Dallas game didn't help.
  18. Josh is now going into his 4th year in the league. Two of those years had packed stadiums. Maybe Josh did get keyed up but he is a young veteran now who has gotten better every year. Fans or no fans I think Josh will continue to improve. He is also maturing as a player (one would assume) so he should do a better job keeping his emotions in check to the point where it doesn't hurt the team. Everything you hear or read about Josh from coaches and teammates is all positive.
  19. It would be great if someone else can knock them off but I still hope the Bills can get the #1 seed. This way they wont have to play WC weekend and I will take my chance with the Bills at home come playoff time.
  20. I root for the Bills only but in other games (AFC Only) I root for whatever helps the Bills. I don't care who wins or loses in the NFC. This year I hope Herbert and the Chargers can beat the Chiefs so that can help the Bills get the #1 seed in the AFC and homefield advantage since KC is the Bills biggest conference threat.
  21. Citi Field in Queens, NY. I am there.
  22. And yet I bet the gas prices won't come back down.
  23. When I think of the Super Bowl teams I think of 12,34,78,83 first. IMHO I think he should have his number retired.
  24. Speaking of Andre when are the Bills going to retire #83? He deserves it just as much as 12,34,and 78.
  25. Jones because he is on NE and Bill is the GOAT HC. They have a better team than the Jets
