Per the NFLN the Chargers are going to make a strong offer to JC. They made it sound like they will be the favorites to land him. Obviously we have to wait and see what happens.

They will have to prove it next year when the pressure is on. I have seen it to many times when bad teams out of the playoff race start to play well because their is no pressure on them. Lets see them do next year and actually win consistently while in a playoff race.

Surprised not hearing more Bills restructures/cuts

Because of Allen I think we have the offense to win the Super Bowl. But I agree with you about the defense. We aren't winning a championship with this defense. Everyone knows their #1 ranking was because they padded their stats on bad teams. Who knows how long it takes White to regain his form and that is assuming he can. Can the Bills resign Wallace? Even so I expect CB will be a priority in the draft. Still need to improve the pass rush and run defense. I still have nightmares about Henry and Taylor and that first NE game. The Bills are a good team and they are close but they do need to improve the defense this offseason if they want to win the Super Bowl. -
In today's world of cell phones with cameras and other social media. That stuff would never happen today.

There are two types of opening day in sports. 1. Football season. It doesn't get any better than this 2. Everything else. The Mets on paper have a good team but I think they could use more pitching. A 3rd starter behind the big 2 and relief pitching.

Beane has many times that he prefers to build thru the draft and then resign our own players. Sure he will look at FA but the draft is where this team will continue to be built according to him. The Bills might sign a player or two but I don't expect them to be major players in FA. It's not Beane's style. -
Bills fans and Beane on the opening of FA.

I will say one thing and that is the timing of Kathy Hochul becoming Gov of NY when she did worked out perfectly for the Bills. 1 to 1.4 billion from NYS. I don't know if that happens with Cuomo despite him saying he is a Bills fan. A WNY girl like Hochul knows how important the Bills are to the people of Buffalo and WNY. She is also a Bills fan herself and that also helps.

With Tommy boy coming back I would think Gronk stays with TB but who knows.

If I were him I would choose the Bills over the Broncos. That division is brutal. The Bills play in a division with Moe, Larry, and Curly. Buffalo has the easier path to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl then the Broncos do. Of course money is always a factor so the Bills offer has to be in line with what others are offering.

The Fins were respectable with Flores they just didn't have a QB. Given everything that has happened to them since I can't see him signing there.

FA officially starts on Wednesday March 16th at 4:00 P.M. However teams can start talking to FA's on Monday March 14th during the "legal tampering" period. Probably will hear lots of rumors on Monday.

The only defining moment from that year was Dalton to Boyd and finally ending the streak.

Tim Graham: Bills stadium deal could be announced this week.

Same for MetLife. Many Giants/Jets fans wish Giants Stadium was back. Only thing MetLife offers over Giants Stadium is a wider concourse and shorter lines at the bathroom. For the cost its not worth it. There wasn't a bad seat in the house at Giants Stadium. -
Khalil Mack traded to Chargers for 2nd and 6th round picks

I don't think people are down on Beane but the pressure is on him big time this offseason. Expectations are a Super Bowl championship. While this is a very good roster they could use help in getting over the hump. Its Beane's job to make sure that happens. Next week should be very interesting when FA finally starts. -

Feel the same. The Bills need to go all in as the time to win is now. If they end up in cap hell because of it and have to suffer thru a bunch of losing seasons then so be it. Just win one Super Bowl. Like you said anything after that is gravy. If there was ever a fanbase in sports that deserves a championship its Bills fans. -
Just heard the news on WFAN.

(2) Jordan Schultz on Twitter: "A massive market is developing for former #Seahawks’ All-Pro LB Bobby Wagner, league sources say. #Dolphins, #Ravens, #Chargers, #Broncos, #Rams, #Cardinals, #Niners and #Cowboys (Dan Quinn loves him but they’re short on cash) are all very interested in @Bwagz." / Twitter (2) Jordan Schultz on Twitter: "Other teams I’m told have interest in Bobby Wagner inc the #Jets, #Lions and #Patriots. So yeah, the All-Decade LB will have his pick of the litter, so so speak! 💰" / Twitter

More trouble for Jerry? (2) ESPN on Twitter: "A 25-year-old woman is suing Jerry Jones, alleging that he paid her mother in 1996 to conceal that he was the girl's biological father — a secret that the lawsuit says she kept due to a confidentiality agreement. A spokesperson for Jones declined comment. https://t.co/G4WVajP8f4" / Twitter -
Getting another weapon for Allen on offense is great but they still have to fix the defense. They got shredded by every good offense/QB they faced. That has to change next season.

Steelers or Colts then.

He is but the Bills only have so much $$$$ to spend. You could get decent production from Berrios at a reasonable cost. The Bills have more pressing needs(DL/CB) than WR to use that money on. From what I've read this is also a deep draft as far as WR's go.
