Just like Cowher. You can tell how much he enjoys working the pre and post game show for CBS. Get paid millions to show up in studio to talk/watch football all day. Then he has the whole offseason off.

That playoff loss to the Chargers in 80 was my first devastating loss with the Bills. They weren't very good in the 70's so this was it. They probably would have beaten Oakland in the AFCCG at home. They had already beaten them 24-7 earlier in the year and the only score the Raiders got that day was off a pick 6. The 80 Super Bowl probably is the Eagles vs Bills if the Bills could have won at SD.

Agreed. West coast trip and then 10 days until the next game. Big advantage. I just think it will be the Cowboys, 49ers, or Cardinals who get the game. If the Bills do get it then I will try to get tickets. Make a nice vacation out of it as well as going to the game. That would make for a great trip.

Today Daily News ( I cant post the article) has a nice write up about the Giants and how Schoen will have to make some very difficult decisions to get under the Cap including releasing some pretty good players. Something for Beane to keep an eye on.

I agree about the Thursday game throwing a curve ball when its coming off a short week. But Thursday week 1 isn't a short week. If the Bills win then they have 10 days until their next game. So playing on Thursday week 1 could be more of an advantage than disadvantage.

Oh please there are lots of reasons the Bills lose and the color of the jersey and pants isn't one of them. I have seen the Bills lose plenty of times over the years wearing blue over white. Should we get rid of that look as well.

They are not bad but they had a lot of trouble with good teams and good QB's. Despite the #1 ranking I would say they are more like an above average defense but not really elite.

Or he will use this "retirement" as an excuse not to show up to OTA's, mini-camp, and training camp. It will be just like his holdout last year but then he will "decide" to play right before week 1.

If he does retire then beating GB just got a lot easier next season.

Maybe Sabres fans should start chanting this at home games to get his attention.

I think we get the Jets week 1 for a 1:00 game. Probably at MetLife since we opened at home last year. Plus the Jets are always a safe pick. The Bills have opened against them more than any other opponent.

I don't think we get the game either. I think it will be between the Cowboys, 49ers and Cardinals. With that said it probably would be in the Bills best interest to get the champs week 1. They could be suffering from a Super Bowl hangover. Plus you know Bills fans would takeover Sofi. Their probably would be more Bills fans then Rams fans at the game. Also going to LA in early Sept is still summertime. Bills fans could make a vacation out of it. Go to the beach and do others things besides going to the game.

Their is more drama with this guy then on a daytime soap.

The way his career is going I wouldn't be surprised if Darnold ends up a career backup. This could actually happen and they could probably sign him for cheap as well.
