  1. Agreed. What is more likely? Mahomes retires early or plays til 40? If he gets to 4-5 SB’s over the next 3 years, I could easily see him walking.
  2. “Can’t wait to get back in the lab” January 2024 - February 2024
  3. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but 2015 was now 8 years ago.
  4. No coach in NFL history was coaching up AJ Klein to cover Kelce
  5. I’m talking about the entire game. I don’t think any other QB could’ve outscored Allen that game.
  6. To me, does 13 seconds even happen if we aren’t playing Mahomes? I don’t know, but my suspicion is no.
  7. This is hotly debated but I wanna see the thoughts of TBD. Combination of all three as answers is discouraged.
  8. The Aiyuk saga in SF has been very strange. There was a weird period where he was getting benched a few years back and there was whispers about him getting moved because of problems with him and Shanny. That’s quieted down in the last 2 years and his production has exploded as their number one-ish WR. I could see him being moved, but I don’t think it would be for Diggs, especially as Diggs is an unwilling blocker. He has enough production to warrant a first rounder as a starting point in negotiations, I could see them retaining Jennings and jettisoning Aiyuk.
  9. Newton is not the standard, I wasn’t making some grand point besides him having bad weapons in Carolina, and him being a one man offense that season is the reason he won MVP and they went to the SB. He also did not suck in the playoffs that year, he had 4 TD’s in the NFCCG. You have a point IRT FA OL players, but the effort has been there IMO. McGovern was their target this last year and played well enough that there’s not going to be much of an effort to replace him going forward. The year prior they went for Saffold which was a predictable disaster. Daryl Williams prior to that was a high value FA signing that played extremely well his first year here. And you brought up Torrence, Morse and Ford, where they went 2/3. And like I said, they had Dawkins under contract (and Spencer Brown who just had his best year as a pro) so there was no need to make a splash in the OT market. If Cody Ford wasn’t a gigantic bust, or we had kept Wyatt Teller, the Bills would’ve probably had a top 5ish OL year after year around Allen. Despite some of those moves not above working, I think there has been a clear effort demonstrated to shore up OL over the years. When you compare the WR group effort to the OL group effort, particularly since 2020, it’s not close imo. WR has clearly lagged behind.
  10. No, I would say that they have tried to surround Josh with WR talent instead of signing bargain-bin bums. Trying and failing > not trying. I understand that the draft is not a perfect science. That doesn’t mean I can’t critique picks, like Boogie Basham, who imo, had a very low ceiling and I thought the vision was questionable compared to a Greg Rousseau. I also understand that guys like Dyami Brown may have had a different career path with a good QB and not being buried on the depth chart. He’s a fast boundary guy on a team that needed more fast boundary guys. Nico Collins looked like a nobody until Stroud emerged.
  11. I’d rather have all three of those dudes than Trent Sherfield.
  12. Good teams don’t draft a bunch of OG’s high. There’s no reason to draft a bunch of tackles higher than 161 when you are already paying Dawkins big bucks. Cam Newton won his MVP because he was throwing to Ted Ginn and Devin Funchess (along with Greg Olsen who was sneaky a top 3 TE at his peak). Those WR’s were notoriously bad.
  13. DJ Chark (who has had seasons better than Sherfield’s whole career) signed for less than Harty last offseason. Nico Collins was a third rounder in 2021 (we took Boogie for DE depth in the second that year). Do not tell me there was NO opportunity to shore up the boundary WR position in the last 3 seasons besides Kumerow and Harty/Sherfield. It’s not true.
  14. What do you mean there wasn’t much? There wasn’t much better than Trent Sherfield, who is literal end of roster trash? That’s not true.
  15. The way Shanny evaluates QB’s, he’ll probably trade away Josh Allen to have Mac Jones 2.0 run his system.
  16. That HoF coach Dungy lost to the Herm Edwards’ Jets in the WC, the Pats in the AFCCG, the Pats in the divisional, the Steelers in the divisional in a four year span. With PEYTON MANNING, Harrison, Wayne. But McD only basically losing to the GOAT is somehow malpractice. Dungy is a HoFer despite losing to Chad Pennington and McD should be sweeping up movie theaters because he can’t regularly beat what might end up being the greatest QB/Coach combo of all time.
  17. I didn’t like having no depth or other young prospects in the wings as a boundary WR for effectively two seasons. It would’ve been nice to have a young second year role player who could have maybe seen his snap count increase when Diggs lost a step or if Gabe got hurt, both of which happened this season. Instead we watched Trent Sherfield and last year Jake the Snake Kumerow play out their fantasy of being actual NFL players. But really, that wasn’t a problem because of defensive spending. Just a failure to target a completely obvious move. Now we are painted into a corner of drafting one this year high, and god help Beane if it’s another Quentin Johnston bust.
  18. At least as far as McD is not “better than McD.” You tried to stretch out your definition. There’s no real reason to nitpick “a few.” Half of these people are absolute jokes to include. The other half has just as much failure at their feet as McD does. “McD is wasting Josh Allen” like LaFleur did getting blown out by the Niners every year with Rodgers? I guess wasting the last 5 years (2 MVP seasons) of a HoF isn’t “malpractice.” Lmao. If you step back and actually examine every HC you listed here instead of crucifying McD, you’d realize that almost none of those guys have proven anything MORE than McD. “Oh no, McD loses to Mahomes in the playoffs, that means he sucks, because other teams get to play the Jags or Texans or Bucs or Lions and then lose to the Chiefs later in the bracket. This is a fair critique”
  19. Because he was defending another teammate.
  20. I challenge you to name 15 better HC’s.
  21. I would certainly call 0-3 in the big one not winning when it matters most lol
  22. Find the discrepancy in these two points.
  23. This post is hysterical. “Tre White is a JAG except for a few above average seasons.” Well, let’s see: Tre has only 7 seasons in the NFL. He has been hurt and missed large portions of 3 of them. And as you said “injuries aside.” So, looking at the other 4: Second in DROY voting Fifth in DPOY voting First team All Pro Second team All Pro 2x ProBowl. A JAG when he wasn’t an All-Pro. Got it. These troll attempts are so low effort.
