  1. Two of the best HC’s in football. Looks good to me!
  2. Let’s play a quiz game. Which coach is being referred to with these quotes? “Whenever I think of ****, I think of Bill Cowher. People were so critical of Cowher not being able to win the big one, yet he was the head coach for 14 years in PIT and did a damn fine job with only a single SB appearance prior to his last season. Before 2005, his last season, he had only four losing seasons, five AFC Championship appearances, and the one Super Bowl appearance, losing to Dallas in 1995. Yet his reputation was a good coach who couldn't win when it counted.” “*** i think is a very good coach Monday thru Saturday, but awful coach on Sunday...and for the last couple of years has had some incredible puck luck during the season.” “Hes another Chuck Knox, Marty Schottenheimer type. Beats bad teams all the time, loses the 5 or 6 toughies ends up 10-6 11-5 if the schedule smiled on him and exits when the playoffs start. If your not making the playoff he will get you there almost guaranteed then the frustration is your really not going anywhere and guess what they are not making the super bowl this year either” ”Have you watched him coach… in the playoffs? It's very entertaining. He's saves his best game day mismanagement for those games.” “He's a modern day Marty Schottenheimer, IMO. Solid but not spectacular. Very good regular season coach who usually fields a good, competitive squad but can't get over the hump in the playoffs.” If you guessed, “Andy Reid before he got the greatest QB in football,” you’re right! Johnny, tell them what they’ve won!
  3. McD and Mahomes for sure.
  4. It makes tremendous sense when you think about it. This fan base believes, by and large, believes that Josh Allen is at least Patrick Mahomes’ equal, maybe even better. Working off that assumption, they had to find other reasons why we haven’t had the same success as the Chiefs. First it was the weapons. “Give Josh Hill and Kelce!” “Sammy Watkins is their WR4!” Then Kelce got old and Hill got shipped out and that narrative had to die because they won two more. Now the only thing they have left is Reid. A guy who was a notorious choke artist for the first 20 or so years coaching. Never won the big one with talent at QB. Was clowned for a decade about sucking at clock management. Was a perennial first round exit in KC with a very talented roster. But of course, now he’s an elite coach. The upper echelon crust. And it can’t be because he has the current greatest QB in football. So really, the difference has to be Reid vastly outperforming McD. They ignore things they see with their own eyes (Harbaugh and Tomlin unable to win playoff games without elite QB play, BB’s Pats being a shell of themselves post Tom Brady, Arians winning an SB with the GOAT after failing to amount to much with Carson Palmer in Arizona.) It MUST be coaching.
  5. They signed Knox two seasons ago. Did you think they should’ve thought, “we shouldn’t sign Knox in case there’s a first round TE we draft next year because all of the good WR’s are gone?”
  6. Honest question, did our WR’s struggle against man coverage that much this year? So much so that it was a more primary way of defending us? To my eye, I didn’t see more than normal amounts of man coverage in 2023. I would also be interested in knowing where Diggs, Kincaid and Shakir ranked in a list like this, but obviously they aren’t UFAS. It’s unsurprising Gabe was low.
  7. Now I see why you were a Kincaid truther from the jump!
  8. Dude those are photos FROM Spotrac. Lol. Just go to the page. I just cut them out so you can look at the numbers and see for yourself. The numbers are clear on the website. $19M in cap savings this season does make financial sense. $5M in savings next season makes less sense, but as that’s the same kind of savings we’d get moving on in 2025 anyway, it’s kinda moot.
  9. 1. I could see $6M base with up to 8M with incentives 2. I would sign him $6M base with up to 8M with incentives, add a void year to bring his cap number down.
  10. Just so I don’t have to repeat myself.
  11. I don’t think there’s a chance he sees north of 8M. 10.3M is the near the franchise tag salary for an RB and would cement Henry as the 7th highest paid back in the NFL. I disagree he will see that money north of 30. Hell, the Titans are paying him 12.5M, why cut him at all if that’s his market value? Also, FWIW, the Spotrac market value stuff is really off. It’s probably the least accurate thing the site supports.
  12. What is the price tag you expect?
  13. We need good players.
  14. Did you notice you mentioned a bunch of old dudes? It’s because none of our drafted players have been good enough, which is why these ancient players have been brought in.
  15. Tom Pelissero agrees. https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2877076-stefon-diggs-trade-rumors-odds-of-vikings-trading-star-wr-are-pretty-long.amp.html He said this is just Diggs being Diggs.
  16. Don’t tell me buddy, tell the oddsmakers in Vegas.
  17. The 12th highest RB salary by AAV in 2023 was $6M. Some folks have not caught on to how long the RB market has gone. The differences in these numbers is pretty meaningless. Murray and Harris cost $3M against the cap and Henry is, at least, twice as good as them combined.
  18. That’s very curious. I hope for your sanity, he doesn’t get moved. We’d be reading about you on the news.
  19. I think you missed the point. they don’t WANT Diggs to be moved. They make comments to that effect, then claim that he CAN’T be moved. It has very little to do with the trade partner take.
  20. When was that video posted? Oh, two days after Kenny boi was shown the door. Lmao. Proved my point for me, thank you for the yellow oval.
  21. Those numbers are straight from Spotrac. The dead money in 2025 for a post 6/1 cut is the same whether he gets cuts post 6/1 or in league year 2025. This is for league year 2024. This is for league year 2025. Per Spotrac, cutting Diggs post 6/1 in 2024 saves us 19M this year, and 5M next year. But no Diggs in 2024, obviously. Cutting Diggs next year saves us no money in 2024, again obviously, and the same 5M next year.
  22. What really turned me off of Cover1 was them carrying water for Dorsey all season pointing to his EPA/play etc etc; until he got fired, then doing a complete 180 and talking about how had a lack of feel for calling a game, and calling a series and the chess match stuff. Neither take is necessarily bad (despite my personal opinions) but I find very little value in takes that change with the wind. If they lack conviction, then they are just saying stuff they think people want to hear. This calls their objectivity into question. Even in their Diggs' contract takes (which I begrudgingly listened to), they start off talking about how he still has value, how he's still a WR1, how they think he's very valuable to the Bills, then talk about how his contract is "unmovable." Are they saying that because they actually believe it, or because they want it to be true? Once that question needs to be asked, you aren't worth my time.
  23. Finally, someone recognizes genius.
