  1. More than he rightly should, but he probably deserves another chance or two. The coordinators though? Ehh, I think they should get the boot now rather than later. Do I think it'll happen? No.
  2. As good as Von was on the field it felt like from his podcast/interviews that he was still second guessing his decision to go to Buffalo. I'm not sure that's as invested in this team as we'd like to think he is.
  3. Low effort thread. Also no, even if the coaches called a terrible game.
  4. There needs to be a fundamental shift in draft strategy moving forward, because it's obvious that drafting on defense and spending next to nothing on offense isn't working. Knox has done a ton more for the team than Bernard, Basham, and probably Elam (at this point) combined. Offense is how you win in the modern football league. Period.
  5. This is a little too much doom and gloom, frankly. The Bills have beaten Baltimore, the Chargers HC is just as bad as ours, probably worse, and Jacksonville looks fine but not some top tier team. The Jets are a complete hypothetical if they can find the hardest position to find in modern football, and Miami completely relies on timing throws in order to be effective.
  6. They both deserve a lot of flak. McD goes on and on in each presser about how the Bills need to learn and grow from mistakes, but there's zero accountability as far as we can tell. There's no self-reflection on this team. McD can't even evaluate his own talent effectively. Can anyone tell me with a straight face that Dane Jackson needed to be in for the majority of that game over Elam?
  7. I'm still gutted the next day by this. I'm smart enough to realize this is irrational, but I'm too emotionally invested in this team considering I have no ability to effect the outcome. I hate, hate, hate that the only reasoning we've gotten is "we didn't have the energy, we came out flat". The fact that the team was unmotivated is a direct condemnation on the coaching staff. The whole city, hell WNY is behind the Bills, and the players aren't invested in the outcome. That's a failure of leadership. I'm worried this is all we're gonna be able to do. We will have some fun years like the Chargers but never do anything of note, I guess it's better than the drought but it still feels just gross.
  8. The only word I can use to describe the Bills performance today is "incompetent." That was one of the most putrid defensive performances I've ever seen from a McD team, at one of the worst moments imaginable. Dorsey trotted out the same boring vanilla BS that has barely been working since the Green Bay game. Diggs has a right to be angry, the talent on this team is being held back by poor coordinators who can't rise up to the challenge. The D-Line was horrifically bad as well, what a waste of picks. I've never been on the "fire the coaching staff" train but man it feels like a real shake up is needed. Absolutely pathetic attempt at a game by the Bills.
  9. These kinds of articles are lay ups. Easy, boring, kind of saying the obvious. Allen is a gunslinger. It's what makes Bills games the best, most watchable football in the NFL. It's a rollercoaster, take your blood pressure meds and enjoy the ride.
  10. I get it. I think it's a valid argument to be made, but I'd also like to see the rookies get reps early on so we see less of stuff like the big Shakir drop last week. Maybe it happens regardless, who knows.
  11. I don't want to sound negative, because I'm really trying not to be but: Shakir, Cook, and Elam are probably playing their best football now because they've basically had no extensive game reps until the last few weeks. I think it would have been beneficial to the Bills to get these guys a bigger workload early on, especially when we were blowing teams out.
  12. Better go draft a 4th round graded OL and an undrafted graded WR in rounds 1-2.
  13. The only draft order I'll accept is OL - WR/Safety - OL - OL - OL - OL - OL and then we should probably pick up some undrafted lineman.
  14. Probably the guys who drafted Mayfield and Darnold.
  15. Hate to be the fun police here, but that's really more of a proof of logic and not a math exercise.
  16. When your other option is going to Sandusky, I can understand the appeal. I certainly kicked the hornet's nest with my first comment, haha.
  17. Ohio has no place to talk crap about anywhere. They're in a race to the bottom with Florida.
  18. People jumped on me for saying the same thing when Hyde was elevated. I don't see a path that he plays in the playoffs realistically. MAYBE the superbowl if we make that far.
  19. Can't wait to watch the Bills get held all game and never have it called. This happens when you don't have superstar NFL talent on the D-Line: You'll get less holding calls.
  20. I don't see much reason to bash Allen when his receiver talent is far worse than what we expected it to be coming into the season. He's put up similar numbers to Burrow but has a much less talented WR room. He's been as good as Mahomes but never has had a Hill/Kelce type of combo in his career. The Bills also have a subpar O-Line. He's done more than any other QB in the league with less. You put Allen in the Bengals offense and they wouldn't have lost a game this season. You put Tee Higgins on the Bills and the Bills are probably undefeated.
  21. I hope you're right, since a 50% hyde is still better than a full Marlowe.
  22. I don't know how much this really changes the gameplan for the Bills, honestly.
  23. I don't feel that it's likely Hyde will play any games in the playoffs, but that's awesome news.
  24. He's been frustrating to watch because we've seen him better. He might just be a high end WR3/4 and not good enough to be a 2. Give me Jakobi Myers or Gallup next season and we'll probably see Davis flourish because of it.
  25. They are roster-worthy NFL players, but they're depth guys. Nobody has popped in the way you'd hope they would. Shaq is probably the most reliable of the bunch.
