Defensively we didn’t do anything all game other than rush 4. That’s not what we do. No blitzing. No pressuring the a gap

I just can’t assign blame to Foster when he’s not getting the time on the field. We’ve all seen what he can do with the ball in his hands and when he has a chance. I would think the coaches would design plays to let him run some deep digs and crossers and see what he can do after the catch. He needs to play over McKenzie imo.

They didn’t give their best. The players might have but the coaches didn’t. conservative on both sides of the ball. I’m accustomed to it on offense. But not in defense. Looked like Dave Wannstedt was back calling our plays.

I posted about the scheme in the game day thread. It was clear as day to me that we weren’t “all in” trying to win that game. Especially defensively. Pats had a lot more to play for at home than we did and still barely got it done. Let’s go back to Foxboro in the playoffs and see what happens.

I just think we continue to see a game plan that involves the overall team. When we play a team with a perceived weak offense we are going to play it close to the vest. Against the Cowboys and Ravens we saw a much more aggressive game plan on both sides of the ball. More blitzes and “shot” plays. IF the Bills feel like they can dominant on defense they just aren’t going to take a lot of chances. We’ve seen it all year.

I’ll say this about Roberts, I have absolutely no fear of him muffing a punt when he’s back there. Makes it look easy to be a punt catcher.
