Do you think CBS will pull Romo and Nantz off Bills-Fins?
Wraith replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pretty sure this is the only game CBS has this weekend, so no, I don't think they will. -

Yes, clearly should have been a roughing the passer penalty. -
What's The Likelihood That Gabe Davis Will Get A Contract Extension?
Wraith replied to Kangaxx's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know that if that is Davis' fault or Dorsey's. According to Cover 1, Davis went from being in the slot ~33% of time in prior years to <10% this year. That is a huge shift in usage and could explain some things. -
NFL Week #18 - Patriots* @ Bills - Post Game Thread
Wraith replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The game log on ESPN has the intended receiver at Gabe Davis, who was in the end zone at the time. The ball was more or less on his line but obviously way too short. -
Glad you mentioned that, I thought the same thing.

NFL Week #18 - Patriots* @ Bills - Post Game Thread

The calls for more check downs from some today is so bizarre to me. Here is the Bills passing in the first half by drive: 1) 3/4, 14 yards, 4.6 yards/completion, Punt 2) 5/8, 64 yards, 12.8 yards/completion, Touchdown 3) 3/4, 12 yards, 4.0 yards/completion, Punt 4) 1/4, 6 yards, 6.0 yards/completion, Interception Second half total: 7/11, 158 yards, 22.5 yards/completion The Bills were throwing short a ton and it was clearly not working well. In the one good drive in the first half, they opened it up and had receptions of 16, 9, 16, and 19 before the TD pass of 4 yards. -
Don't look now, but Bills rounding into playoff shape.

12/17/22 Week 15 Gameday Bills vs Dolphins PreGame Thread

That guy is not a meteorologist, he’s a Miami talk show host. -
I think you are misinterpreting the tweet and graphic. She is saying 8" on the ground by kick-off and 10" - 12" on the ground by the end of the game. That is 0.66"-1.33"/hour during the game which is manageable. One of her other tweets shows that Orchard Park is right on the edge of the heavy snow band prediction. If it tracks a couple miles south it may not be snowing at all during game time.

Buffalo Bill receivers now lead the league in dropped passes

That play was overturned by the “sky judge”. The reception counted. -
OP was right, It was week 17. January 2nd.

I swear most of the people complaining don’t watch other teams/games. There are no style points. They also don’t seem to realize how much better the team is this year versus last year. They have a much harder schedule this year and are 3 (!!!) games ahead of last year at this point. They were 7-6 on December 19 last year! They have a ton of quality wins this year.

Getting sick of "Last year was our year."

We didn’t win our eighth game until December 19th last year. -
Don't Look Now - Lions are Winners of Their Last 3 . . .

Allen started 4/10 for 27 yards through most of the first half. The rest of the way he went 14/17 (82%) for 170 yards (10 yards per attempt) and a TD. One of those incompletions was a throw away. The Bills scored on all six of those possessions before the kneel down to end the game. Allen was really good once he shook off that early funk. -
That was Trent Edwards.

Poor coaching by McDermott is becoming a theme

This talking point I keep hearing is ridiculous and shows a complete lack of critical thinking. Winning a lot of games by a big margin and losing a few games by a small margin is what good teams do. It is how sports work. Not to mention the Bills actually won their share of close games last year too: - Week 8: Bills were up 6 to Miami with under 4 minutes to go. Does not count to you because they took care of business and won by 15. - Week 16: Bills were up 5 to New England with under 3 minutes to go. Does not count to you because of that crazy drive to seal the game and division lead. - Week 18: Bills were up 3 to New York Jets with under 9 minutes to go. Ignored because they took over the game in the final minutes and pulled away. Are we supposed to take serious your argument that the Bills would have been a better team if the offense didn't come through late to pull away in those games and instead they hung on by fewer points? It is nonsense. -
The obvious answer is to have the sidelines be determined by coin flip and/or have them switch sides at half time.
