Problem is when you’re down 17 points in the 4th you have essentially zero chance of winning by running the ball. So in that case they did give up any realistic chance of winning.
Down here in Dayton area there is a mix. Many older folks root for the Browns since that was their team going back to the 50’s and 60’s. The Bengals started around 1970 so I see many of the under 50 crowd going for the Bengals.
Exactly. Those bemoaning GB running the ball don’t understand that they were essentially just wishing to lose by something less than 20 points. The game was never in doubt. I’d love for every team we play who is down by 17-20 points in the 4th quarter to just run the ball.
Either that or they have no clue about the game. It’s very difficult to run down the field and win when you’re already down 17 points. GB has no confidence in Rodgers.
Good luck with that. He’s a 38 year old with declining capabilities who has sh** around him. They just lost to Zach Wilson and Taylor Heinrich for Pete’s sake.
Again, PFF doesn’t know what his true assignment was. How many times did he force Mahomes to rush a play like on the pick by Johnson? If you watch carefully you’ll see he did a great job in his “spy” capacity.
One, of many, problems with PFF grades is that they have no idea what the responsibility of a player is on a given play and are just guessing. Many of these grades are ridiculous. Please people use your eyes.
