So with Dorsey we were 5-5 and without him 6-1 (with more injuries and facing Miami, KC, Philly and Dallas). Even though it hasn’t always looked pretty with Brady I’d say firing Dorsey was the right thing to do.

I wonder which of all you hindsight head coaches will land some of the open spots in the league for next season. Given the impressive level of hindsight shown here it must be quite a few. I think the coaches trusted the defense to get a stop in case the 4th down play (to kill the game) failed, since they hadn’t allowed a single point so far in the second half.

Before the game started I placed a ten dollar parlay bet on Sherfield, Harty and Knox to score TD’s. Now I’m going to retire and buy Hawaii.

Even though Josh is having a stinker and Cook dropped an easy TD we’re only behind by one score. Still a winnable game but Josh HAS to get his act together.
-
He has to make that decision in a split second. He’s not sitting at home in his comfy sofa with a beer watching TV.

STOP THROWING TO DAVIS!!! He’s cursed! Every other throw to him becomes an interception.
-
Seems like we have active refs tonight. Well, except on the Knox non call.

Divisions like these is such an American thing. I haven’t seen anything like it anywhere else. It is rather silly in a way but also has its charm, so I would vote for keeping them.

Every other play so far has felt rather close to being a turnover.

Do you really think a league with 32 teams and like 100 players per team and people like Kapaernick, Marshawn Lynch and Antonio Brown is fixed without someone leaking it to the press? Even if it was just the refs someone would eventually say something. Too many people to keep it a secret.

So how are we feeling about Coach McDermott?

If Josh plays like he has quite a few games this season that will be difficult. -
Do you get extra points for winning big? At no time yesterday did I feel the victory was in danger.

Turnovers - The Bills Achilles Heel (Statistical Overview)
Freak-O replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall
Some of Allen’s interceptions have more or less been punts on third and long. Those are not so bad and inflate the numbers. Others have been disastrously poor however and swung the momentum of entire games. -
Why is it so hard for fans to admit reality?

And how many games have we been unlucky? Considering the narrative that we can’t win close games my guess is: MANY. Throughout a season it tends to even out. So what’s your point? -
The Cowboys are supposed to be good, right? At what?

How can a not NFL caliber HC have a winning record? Is being a HC in the NFL really that easy? “Nothing will change my mind”… You sound like a flat Earther.

A win is a win and a whiner is a whiner.

One of the worst punt returns I’ve ever seen. He runs backwards and then fumbles. I miss McKelvin…

It’s one thing exaggerating when taking a late or dirty hit, as to alert the refs on what’s happening. Falling spectacularly to the ground from someone gently touching you while trying NOT to hit you is another. I’d really prefer it if he didn’t do that. I’d really prefer it if NO ONE did.

See you next season then I guess!

Wilson holds on to the ball for so long that even Von Miller would sack him.

That was really poor play.

The "McDermott Handicap" and hopefully a solution
Freak-O replied to peterpan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I didn’t hate the first one since it was not much more than a hand off to Diggs (really bad drop) and the third they kind of had to pass. But he second one I really couldn’t understand though. The game could have been over in the first half but Josh threw the interception when we were driving for 21-0. Very bad timing to do that. -
Von Miller looked a little better this week, at least making Mahomes slightly anxious a few times. Not a dominant force by far, but taking baby steps towards earning a spot on the field.
