  1. Guy musta been Porter's agent, Eugene Parker, dropping by TSW again for another 'beat-down'...
  2. Oh shut up. I don't have to. You're not the boss of me. Don't know where you get that PG was referring to the NHL rule thing from that link tho, since it's not mentioned at all, nor is any other rule or guideline. PG simply states the medical 'treatment' for a concussion - which is, apparently, to be completely healed. (Then he rambles for a while longer. )
  3. No...actually, the link refers to Pyrite Gal.
  4. Done - I'da picked w/Tracy even if ya hadn't asked. (If I wipe out the cookie they left on my PC, can I vote for her again?)
  5. Danny Noonan: I kinda thought winning wasn't important. Ty Webb: Me winning isn't, you do. So even though I lost LA's 'Dinner's On Me SmartAss' contest, I still have just one word to say... 18 and 1 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! PosLUSZny!!!!!
  6. HFBD, you shriveled old Dick! Cheers
  7. No, the new medical 'treatment' for a concussion is to not have any symptoms of a concussion... link
  8. I can certainly understand making an exception for Stroud, but why for FatBoy? Did 'PayMe' miss some practices?
  9. ELAINE: So, you think you're sponge-worthy? link
  10. Happy Natal Anniversary! Cheers
  11. Red Sox Nation is gonna be unbearable after they win it all in... Eight strait baby!!!!
  12. Not saying I disagree, but anyone who misses portions of 3 college seasons, part of his rookie season, and now (possibly) this season all due to injuries, just might have earned the 'injury-prone' distinction.
  13. TE wouldn't have lasted 4 downs against... Art Donovan
  14. The Maverick was a fine car... Tijuana Taxi Ford Flashback (JK - it was ugly.) As for TE being injury prone, it depends on whether you use the same 'yardstick' Losman-bashers used to deem JP 'injury-prone', or TE gets to use his own special yardstick! Seeing as the guy's only managed to get thru one complete season w/out injury (2005 at Stanford), I don't see how anyone in his right mind can insist he's not injury prone.
  15. Don't forget Bobby Moore.
  16. Trade deadline is a week from today...
  17. Respectfully disagree, SwampD. Yeah, Wilson knew what he was doing - putting a hard hit on the QB. It's football. It's a physical, sometimes dangerous game, and guys get hurt.
  18. Our OL looks to be in disarray, and Peters should be back to 'Pro Bowl' form by now. (According to his fan club, he shoulda been there by week two! ) Anyone miss Jim McNally? GO BILLSSS!!!! 18 and 1 baby!!!!!
  19. Clean hit, IMHO, and I'm probably the most one-sided Bills backer that exists. Here's an interesting perspective on hitting QBs... Art Donovan
  20. Like I said, you can always tell a Yale man, but you can't tell him much... Mortimer's an idiot for not throwing the red flag - little-ref-guy would have loved a few more moments in front of the camera to overturn the call. Royal never fumbled. Ball came out when R2 was already down and slammed it into the carpet. Incontrovertible statement of fact.
  21. Spot on, R2. For the life of me, I cannot understand why Mortimer didn't throw the reg flag on the Robert Royal catch - R2 was CLEARLY down by contact, and the ground cannot cause a fumble. The ball did not come out til Royal placed it on the carpet. The little ref-guy seemed to be loving being seen on nat'l TV too, and probably would have jumped at the chance to get in front of the camera again to reverse a call.
  22. If the Pro Bowler wants big money, he should consider becoming a pro bowler - he might be a better at bowling than football.
