  1. I'd have to agree - then Jackson, Greer, et al. Peters is locked up for two more years, if we want to keep him. Now that we've seen how so-so he is, and how easily replaced, I'd probably be more worried about also locking up Edwards, Posluszny, Whitner, and a half dozen others before even giving a thought to Peters. If he wants to hold out again, put him on the DNR/PUP list and leave him there. If he doesn't like that, just say to him, "Hey, Jason, that's the only way we could draw attention to the problem and get you to notice it!" GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  2. What's the difference between Barney Frank and a refrigerator? A refrigerator doesn't fart when you take the meat out.
  3. Actually, I think 'ProBowl' Peters has missed every game - there is some big fat guy out there wearing his number, though.
  4. And I will be - if and when it happens. I'm just amused at how well the Bills have done without 'PayMe' playing at his former level, and how easily they were able to adjust and compensate for his absence, given the number of 'Chicken Littles' screaming, "THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!" unless we cave in to the misguided Peters and his jerk of an agent. Interesting, yes! Go ahead and try - you won't find one.
  5. You & I have similar opinions of JP, how the Bills mishandled his development, and his potential to still become a decent NFL QB with the right team - question is, with the trading deadline about 2 weeks away, do you try to get something for the guy? If someone's QB goes down in the next 2 weeks, can we get a 3rd round pick for Losman? I'm thinking Hamdan can step in as #2 right now. (I believe Jared Lorenzen is still available, if we need a #3. )
  6. WTF is wrong with all of you? 'PayMe Peters' is the best and most important guy on the team. Kiss the season goodbye if Russ doesn't cave and break the bank for Almighty Jason. Edwards will get killed if FatBoy isn't in the lineup. Our season is in the toilet without Peters. GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  7. Holy CRAP, that's spooky. No, I did not start it, or even see it 'til just now, but it sounds about right - I would expect any desperation 'October Surprise' to come much later in the month though - closer to election day. GO BILLSSS!!!! PosLUSZny!!!!!
  8. That is funny. Did MSNBC also do that for the questions Biden didn't answer, or was their coverage just their own version of SNL? I watched it on PBS, and heard moderator Gwen Ifill protest several times that neither candidate had answered the question proffered.
  9. What email? Is it funny? Did it have something to do with Joe, Hillary, and an aneurysm? I honestly don't know what you're talking about. BTW, you are the one who suggested that Palin would either remove herself from the ticket, or be removed. Clearly, you find the looming prospect of a McCain/Barracuda admin just too upsetting, so yes, back to football... GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  10. That's truly unfortunate. Biden's been on the Senate floor for 35 years, presided over the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings, ran for President twice, and has tons upon tons upon tons of experience on the 'Big Stage' in front of the national media. Ms. Palin was thrust into this position 4 weeks ago. Tonite we probably saw Joe at his best, and anyone - ANYONE - well-prepared and with a mere modicum of debating skills & experience, coulda kicked Joe's ass tonite. Given how low the expectations, our future VPILF pretty much did just that. Joe just got his ass kicked by a girl.
  11. Give it up, PastaJoeBiden - it's much more likely that The Plagiarist will fake another brain aneurysm to make room for Hillary, than Palin being replaced on the McCain ticket. BTW, there were several moments when moderator Gwen Ifill responded that neither of them answered the question posed and, given that Ms. Palin was thrust onto the national scene about 4 weeks ago and tonite had to go up against a consummate smooth-talkin' bullschitter that's been in the US Senate for 35 years, I thought she did quite well - and will only get better. Sure she could have kicked Biden's ass all over the stage, but she did her job and did it well. While they both fulfilled their purpose, to attack the top of the opposition's ticket and do no harm thru stupid gaffes, the biggest gaffe of the evening belongs, as expected, to Joe Biden - calling Dick Cheney 'the most dangerous Vice President in history'. (Surely, that was Aaron Burr.) Bye bye 'bama. Sarah Palin's a VPILF
  12. I agree - and I believe there were several moments when moderator Gwen Ifill responded that neither of them answered the question. They both fulfilled their purpose - to attack the top of the opposition's ticket, and do no harm thru stupid gaffes. As I fully expected, the biggest gaffe of the evening belongs to Joe Biden - calling Dick Cheney 'the most dangerous Vice President in history'. (Come on, history buffs - sure, Cheney shot a hunting buddy in the face, but he didn't actually shoot someone dead ) Actually, given that Ms. Palin was thrust onto the national scene about 4 weeks ago and tonite had to go up against a consummate smooth-talker that's been in the US Senate for 35 years, I thought she did quite well - and will only get better. Sure she could have kicked Biden's ass all over the stage, but she did her job and did it well. Bye bye 'bama. Yes, that is why they have the equally one-sided, equally repugnant, skeletal Alan Colmes to refute him - 'fair & balanced', I guess.
  13. It's much more likely that Joe Biden will fake an aneurysm to make room for Hillary than either scenario you suggest - namely, Palin being replaced on the ticket either voluntarily or involuntarily. So yes, Dean, while Jack McCain's in charge, you will have to wait another 8 years for a woman - Ms. Palin - to be President. It's about time we had a woman in The West Wing - Sarah Palin for VPILF!!!
  14. Now do you see how it's done with this Front Office, Eugene? You show up, shut up, and let your performance speak for you. Great news on Evans... GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  15. I will be watching the debate for sheer entertainment value, to see if Joe says anything as stupid as this... 20 seconds with Joe Biden (How many television sets were even in existence in 1929, and who was President when the stock market crashed ?)
  16. Actually, you may be thinking of my alma mater.... The Day Cornell Died
  17. You can always tell a Yale man... ...but you can't tell him much. GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  18. Da Billsss!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  19. Waldo Von Erich a fake? You take that back... What's wrong, Von Erich? Ahh, the memories...
  20. You say it like this, R2... PosLUSZny!!!! (posssLOOOSHneh - chug a beer) 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
  21. Exactly, CB'97. They know nothing. Even just now, the local idiots, i.e., Jeanie Sullivan, Mike Dope, etc., are sharpening their elbows to try and squeeze their way onto the Bills' bandwagon... 19 and 0 baby!!!
  22. So let me just say one word about this... Who, exactly, are the 'really really' tough teams, what are their W-L records, and to whom have they lost? The schedule was set years ago. Is it the Bills fault that they're playing the NFC West and AFC North this season, along with our usual division opponents, or that Marica Brady* got hurt? 'Cause the rest of our division plays the exact same teams, save for 2 games. EAT BUFFALO SCHITT, national media - the Bills are the BEST. Before this season ends, you will all bow before Ralph's Marv's Dick. Or, as BRUUUUUUUCE would say, "We're baa-aaaaack!" Deal with it. (OK - either that was more than one word, or I'm Pyrite Gal.) 19 and 0 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! PosLUSZny!!!!!!!!
  23. Don't want to disappoint my constituents, so here's what I have to say - 'PayMe' looked awful on Sunday. Slow, sloppy, & stupid. He had a holding penalty, a false start and was beaten cleanly for a sack by rookie Chris Long. And that was all before FatBoy limped off the field. (I was actually wondering if he re-tore the torn-up groin, what with carrying all that excess weight and being so outa shape and all, and if K-Dog owed me a beer.) But my larger gripe, as you well know Dean, is that the rest of the O-line - and rest of the team, for that matter - did not hold out, refuse to honor their contracts, demand more money, or not show up for work all summer. They worked their asses off to get us to where we are this week - 4-0 - while FatBoy sat on his fat ass. Yeah, Peters could be a great player - maybe one of the best LTs in the game - but that's not what we're seeing this season. As the saying goes, 'Tell the world what you can do, but first, show them.' We're all waiting to see, Jason. Meanwhile, forget about the Pro Bowl, and probably any raise, as well. GO BILLSSS 19 and 0 baby!!!
  24. Ahh...the medical 'treatment' is that the guy needs to be free of symptoms?
