  1. Fixed. Fine - put another clothespin on your aorta! Me, I'm one prime rib dinner away from a triple bypass already!
  2. DJ didn't fire Fairchild - he left to become head coach at Colorado State. QUICK EDIT - forgot to add, "And THANK GOD for that!"
  3. Hmmm - guess they haven't greased Giza's greedy palm yet! I do remember seeing the Comtech guys stringing cable along Transit Road last year - thought it was for FiOS, but then they have to actually bring 2 fiber strands to your house - it takes a while to put that much glass in the ground.
  4. Yeah. Ham & pineapple tastes OK - not so much w/the BBQ chicken. If you're gonna throw chicken on a pizza, it should be roasted chicken, on a white pizza, with spinach, garlic, and artichoke hearts. But regardless of what's on the pizza, the Bills unis suck, I think. Let's get rid of the last vestige of the TD era, and just wear the throwbacks! BRUCE goes on 'The Wall' this Sunday - OOPIE DOOPIE!!!! GO BILLSSS!!!!
  5. FiOS TV is just now available in Hamburg - I know a couple guys who are in the running to be 'first-on-the-block' for the new TV service. FiOS has been available for a while - not sure it's 'years' but maybe about a year - for internet service, and Verizon could 'piggyback' their VoIP telephone service on the fiber into your house, but the TV content was actually from DirectTV, I think. Now it's the actual FiOS digital television service that's being 'turned up' this week in Hamburg, Amherst and OP - and yes, they will have the NFL network as part of their TV package. (Bite me, Time Warner.) BTW - the thread title says 'now available in Buffalo' - somewhat misleading, as Buffalo will not have the service for at least another year due to their franchise agreement w/Time Warner. Kinda sucks, especially since the FiOS TV hub/head-end is in Buffalo, in the old Verizon central office building on Elmwood.
  6. They say blowouts aren't fun to watch, but that game was by far the most fun I ever had at Rich Stadium. In come the 'Big Bad Raiders', touting their defensive unit as one of the best ever - freakin' Kelly & the Bills marched down that field so methodically on the opening drive that Raiders' coach Art Shell had to call a time-out less than 2 minutes into the game to try and figure out how to stop the Bills no-huddle. The look on Shell's (and Howie Long's) face was priceless - pure shell shock (no pun intended). They couldn't do a damned thing to stop us, and the Bills were up 41-3 at the half! BTW, that Bills dynasty really 'took hold' two years earlier, when we went to the AFC title game against the Browns (and Ronnie Harmon had his infamous drop in the final seconds). That's where I see this current Bills team - about two years ahead of where everyone else in the league thinks we are... 19 and 0 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! PosLUSZny!!!!!
  7. You're hysterical. Not 'ha ha funny hysterical' - literally hysterical. Seek help. Admit it - you jerk off in your gym sock as you gaze dreamily at the lifesize Jason Peters poster hanging above your bed. Venom? Bile? Mean spirited creep? Hey, you're the one hurling the personal insults at me here pal - starting with this one... If I want to know anything about Peters groin, I'll just ask you. You're ten years old, maybe twelve, right? Go buy yourself a clue.
  8. You may have a point, KTD - maybe saying he 'played like schitt' was over the top. He played like schitt for a guy who thinks he's worth $10M/year. That better?
  9. You're ridiculous. And stupid, too, if you think I'd celebrate for a player to be injured. The difference between us is that I think Peters' schitt smells like, well, schitt - you think it tastes like caviar.
  10. In addition to being amazed by the number of folks on TSW that think they know how the coaches & players feel, I'm also amazed at the number that seem to think they know what was said between PayMe and the F.O. No, it sounds more like Jauron was desperately trying to make up for lost time and get PayMe as prepared as possible, given the a-hole's prolonged, pointless holdout. Jauron's trying to win games; he's also in his own 'contract year'. There you go again - HTF do you know what "their thoughts" are????!!!!! Fine Dean - you seem sure that everyone's just A-OK with what Peters pulled. I would never say that's stupid, but I think it's naive. JMO.
  11. I'm amazed at the number of folks on TSW that seem to think they know what's going on in the heads of the front office and the rest of of the players. But I do agree that PayMe is dumb as dirt - not sure that wouldn't make him the 'mastermind' of the whole holdout 'strategy' though.
  12. Come on Deano.....say it.....just once.....you know you want to..... 19 and 0 baby!!!!
  13. So if I'm understanding you correctly, you're saying that despite the fact that PayMe dissed the team, the fans, and his teammates by skipping all of training camp, the OTAs and the preseason and put his QB at risk because he wasn't able to play at the level he could have had he not acted like such an ass hole, it's surprising that he didn't play even worse? Sorry, that doesn't cut it with me. JMO.
  14. Bingo!!!!! Ding ding ding ding ding....we have a winner!!!!! Freakin' PayMe Peters lucks into the Pro Bowl once - which he couldn't play in because of a torn groin and sports hernia - and everyone thinks we should kiss the guy's ass and shower him with money like he's been a perennial Pro Bowl selection for the last 5 years. Screw Peters.
  15. You got it backwards - I'm not 'jumping all over him' because he messed up one time; I'm jumping all over him because "he missed all of training camp, OTA's, practices, has a new offense to grasp, has only practiced one week". What if Edwards got seriously hurt 'cause Peters wasn't 100% ready to play? Lighten up on PayMe Peters? F K PayMe Peters!
  16. OK, I will temper my enthusiasm... 19 and 0 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! PosLUSZny!!!!!
  17. It's just a tradition they have in Jacksonville - most of the fans like to dress up as empty seats.
  18. 'Course, PayMe Peters woulda had plenty of time to shake off the rust if he'd shown up for work when he was supposed to, instead of a month and a half late and acting like he was doing the team such a favor by finally coming in to pick up his check. But yeah, there's a lot to be giddy about - we eked out a tough come-from-behind win on the road, against a respectable opponent, in tough conditions. I hope TE continues to play well - and especially hope he can play as well in cold weather as he does in 100-degree heat. The missed tackles on Garrard drove me crazy. Also, I thought the offense got conservative after we took that early lead, and that almost came back to bite us in the ass. Real happy for Youboty - never understood why some were ready to throw him 'under the bus' - guy had a tough break with his mom passing and having to look out for his younger brother - that pretty much wiped out his whole rookie season. I'll bet he makes the Pro Bowl this year. I'll bet PayMe doesn't. The team is definitely starting to 'gel' as a unit, gaining some confidence, and maybe just beginning to understand how good they really are this year.... 19 and 0 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! PosLUSZny!!!!!
  19. Like I said, it'll be a tough game on the road, in the heat, but the Bills will win in a nail-biter! 19 and 0 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! PosLUSZny!!!!!
