  1. Yeah that was real close. Defender must have already been committed when the runner dropped into his slide
  2. He's a more physical corner and I imagine the Bills liked him out there at times to defend a run heavy attack
  3. Can't argue with any of that. But I do think that's more of a personnel issue on the defensive interior than a coaching issue.
  4. Do you know what has been the lowest point total Frank Reich's offense has had since Week 9 this year? 24 points. What about it? Tre blew a coverage. You want to blame a co-ordinator for the GM's mistakes? Nevermind....
  5. Yeah I thought he got sucked over the post too quick and bailed on his zone. He did not have a great day.
  6. Don't care about salaries or draft position. Jefferson, Zimmer, Phillips and Butler have been playing like fringe NFL players at best. Addison is invisible, Epenesa is wet behind the ears and even Hughes has reached the point where he's saving himself for late in the game. It's a huge problem on the interior, although less so at End. I just think it's soooo hard to play good defense when your Front 7 is overmatched every single week.
  7. You're probably right. I just remember being pissed because a short completion in bounds was exactly what I wanted to see and then it got nullified.
  8. Blaming Frazier becasue he only has one NFL caliber DT to work with is off base, imo. If anything, he should get extra credit for succeeding in a difficult situation.
  9. When he's getting the ball out on time behind a good OLine, you're not likely to move him off his spot. And it's tough to give Frazier too much grief on those two drives when most of the damage came from long runs where the DLine got blown off the ball.
  10. I think they were going to have a problem getting their FG unit lined up and set with the clock running and only like 12 seconds left. I hated that TO at the time. What should he have done different?
  11. yeah that would be my guess too
  12. He did a great job keeping everybody's head in the game when things were going sideways. He mixed up his calls, made the right rotations and was successful having people in position to defend what the Colts wanted to do. And he made sure everybody on the field was maintaining situational awareness relative to the clock down/distance and the game situation. Just really professional work all around from a guy who catches way more flack than he deserves.
  13. "You do realize because they took a look because McD called a TO and was going crazy they had to give the TO back, right?" That's what you said. I'm bowing out of this pointless conversation.
  14. They always try to wait til the last second before the snap for an official review; that's the way they're trained to do it. You think they gave McDermott a TO because he was "going crazy"? 🤨 Yeah, that's the part that isn't true.
  15. So McDermott had a 4th TO up his sleeve and pulled it out on the next play? He's a crafty mick, that one.....
  16. Have you heard something?
  17. That's one of the reasons I think replay shouldn't even exist.
  18. It's so unusual it makes you suspicious. I'm a little older and have always had a solid gun; I threw a snowball for the dog last week and my arm almost fell off.
  19. No referee ever wants to be put in that position, and I don't blame them. If there is even a smidgen of doubt, you stick with the call on the field and move forward.
  20. Yeah, it's hard when all you see is WTF
  21. He can still get it home if he's stepping into it, but you're not likely to see any 20yrd outs from him any more; even from the near hash.
  22. I hope this team designation stops soon because every single time I see it my brain goes what the ****
  23. Yeah, I'm thinking there's a few million of us in that boat
  24. Beat me to it.....
