I remember reading another one where jersey color was a factor in called penalties. Darker jerseys drew penalties at a higher percentage than they could explain away with other factors. The human mind is weird-assed attic

Their run fits have been awful

They did a great job executing their game plan. They knew exactly where the Bills weaknesses were and attacked them both on the gournd and in the air relentlessly while being smart about avoiding their strengths. It was a frustrating as hell day for sure. I don't want to sound like a smart ass but I'd say watch some more film. He gets more attention from D-Coordinaters than anybody on the field, week after week after week and he's still a handful out there.

Ed Oliver has been great. He's the only guying drawing doubles all day up front, beats them way more often than he should and if you don't double him he will kick your ass.

Yeah that was real close. Defender must have already been committed when the runner dropped into his slide

He's a more physical corner and I imagine the Bills liked him out there at times to defend a run heavy attack

Can't argue with any of that. But I do think that's more of a personnel issue on the defensive interior than a coaching issue.

Don't care about salaries or draft position. Jefferson, Zimmer, Phillips and Butler have been playing like fringe NFL players at best. Addison is invisible, Epenesa is wet behind the ears and even Hughes has reached the point where he's saving himself for late in the game. It's a huge problem on the interior, although less so at End. I just think it's soooo hard to play good defense when your Front 7 is overmatched every single week.

You're probably right. I just remember being pissed because a short completion in bounds was exactly what I wanted to see and then it got nullified.

Blaming Frazier becasue he only has one NFL caliber DT to work with is off base, imo. If anything, he should get extra credit for succeeding in a difficult situation.

When he's getting the ball out on time behind a good OLine, you're not likely to move him off his spot. And it's tough to give Frazier too much grief on those two drives when most of the damage came from long runs where the DLine got blown off the ball.

He did a great job keeping everybody's head in the game when things were going sideways. He mixed up his calls, made the right rotations and was successful having people in position to defend what the Colts wanted to do. And he made sure everybody on the field was maintaining situational awareness relative to the clock down/distance and the game situation. Just really professional work all around from a guy who catches way more flack than he deserves.

They always try to wait til the last second before the snap for an official review; that's the way they're trained to do it. You think they gave McDermott a TO because he was "going crazy"? 🤨 Yeah, that's the part that isn't true.

So McDermott had a 4th TO up his sleeve and pulled it out on the next play? He's a crafty mick, that one.....
