Week 15: Bills at Broncos
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Interesting that Football Outsiders has Broncos with a 0.00% chance to make the playoffs, but the official standings don't have them eliminated. I'm not scared of the Broncos, but I figure them being eliminated before the game might reduce their fight slightly. Otherwise, they're going to be motivated to run the table, thinking they might be able to sneak in. They'll also get a boost from their fancy uniforms. -
I don't...I try to be realistic, and my nature is to prepare for the worst. I'm not sure how you can deny that it's more advantageous when you have a star QB on a rookie deal; once we pay him, the team around him will be harder to maintain. @Jaraxxus, seriously, what is incorrect or unreasonable about this take that makes you laugh at it? When positivity and realism are the same in my view, you'll see me be very positive... There are plenty of those posts out there, even from today. But sometimes the realistic view is not so perfectly rosy. Folks should be able to deal with that. Perpetual positivity is annoying and unrealistic.

Thoughts on Chris Brown - One Bills Live?

Schopp cares more about fantasy than the Bills, and you get the sense that that's all he'd talk about if no one stopped him. -
Thoughts on Chris Brown - One Bills Live?

Yeah, I cringe daily when callers tell Tasker how amazing he is and how he should be in the Hall. How people haven't gotten a clue by now is beyond me. -
Week 15: Bills at Broncos

Broncos will be without both Bouye and his replacement. With John Brown presumably back, Allen should absolutely feast. He will also have confidence going into the game because he doesn't see the Broncos as a big bad team, and he'll just play. That's when he balls out. I'm calling it... First big blowout of the year here. -
Allen has crossed the threshold. When he struggles in games, commentators will stop reaching back to his pre-draft analysis and instead give him the benefit of the doubt, just like they do with the other great ones. The Bills are better than the Packers. I don't think it's really close. Better than the Saints, too.

Where is Buffalo going?
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Brennan Huff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watching how the Bills roll with things, if they do end up getting #2, which I think they will, I think they'll have to struggle through that first game and find a way to win it, because they're going to come out tight as hell in that game bc it represents their stated goal (winning it) for the season. Get over that hump, and they'll probably roll in the Divisional with the pressure off. -
2-pt defense is concerning me

I truly do not understand this thought process -

How is it ridiculous? This is a big concern any time it comes up in games. The Bills allow conversions essentially 100% of the time under McDermott. This also killed us in the playoffs last year. Drawing attention to it is worthwhile. -
I honestly think home is a disadvantage if anything for this Bills team this year. I think being "the enemy" in an opposing team's stadium does more for them psychologically than playing in an empty home stadium. I really do. And looking at the playoff teams, other than the Chiefs, I don't really see any difference in matchup favorability. So, it's weird, but I really don't think seeding matters at all, except to avoid the Chiefs until the AFCCG. I do think the Bills are the #2 team in the NFL.
