  1. I mean, it seems like a reasonable concern. I was thinking about it as well. We struggled against the Patriots' running game in that last game last year, and if we struggle again this year, they could control the ball and keep our offense off the field. Seems like a good game plan against us.
  2. This was written BEFORE the Colts game. They got pasted. Not looking good for Gase.
  3. Same is true all over the media and interwebs today...
  4. As predicted, all of the highlight packages are ignoring this and only focusing on the (correct) PI call at the end of the game. GMFB even said 31 other fan bases are mad about the PI call and it wasn't PI... give me a damn break.
  5. Allen literally got an entire segment on FNIA, AND they opened talking about him, AND they showed tons of highlights. It was an Allen lovefest on FNIA tonight... Let's be reasonable. Halftime of SNF is not about highlights, yet they still highlighted Allen
  6. Yeah, I'm kind of surprised that the coaching staff didn't notice this before Peyton Manning had to point it out, but I'm at least trying to get the word out there! I'll probably call WGR tomorrow as well. Not sure what else I can do.
  7. It was Friday or Saturday. I'm surprised no one caught it for the game today, honestly, but it'll be really interesting to see if it continues next week. Would seem like an easy fix.
  8. Great catch. Clearly there was already a calf issue, not just a foot issue.
  9. It almost seems like an unwritten rule in the NFL that if your offense starts playing well, the defense has to take a step back. You rarely have both, even if the talent level remains the same! It's a fascinating psychological phenomenon, and I think earlier posters hit it on the head when they suggest it's because the defense doesn't feel the same pressure to perform because they feel, whether consciously or not, that the offense can carry the load.
  10. Amazing game today by Allen, but one thing I think it's important to point out (and I'm actually surprised the coaching staff hasn't drilled down on) is the "tell" that Allen has on his hard counts. Peyton Manning pointed this out on the ESPN+ special, and it rang 100% true today. When Allen actually takes a snap, his arms are hanging by his side. When he does a hard count, though, trying to get the defense to jump, he always holds his hands out as if to receive the ball. At this point, defenders would know from film study that if his hands are flexed to receive a snap, it's always a fake. He just needs to change this up a few times to keep defenses guessing.
  11. I maintain that paying a CB like that is never worth it. Good talent exposes any CB.
  12. Under Sean McDermott, the Bills have struggled at home; most of Buffalo's big wins have come on the road. In fact, McDermott's Bills have notched only two home wins over teams with winning records: week 3 of the 2017 season vs. the Broncos (who entered 2-0 and finished 5-11), and week 5 of the 2018 season vs. the Titans (who finished 9-7 and missed the playoffs). A win in Orchard Park today would arguably be the Bills' biggest home win under McDermott.
  13. Since 2017, the Rams are 5-0 in 1pm EST games, scoring at least 30 points in each one. They’ve outscored their opponents 185-89 in those contests, too, with only one being within 10 points.
  14. So he makes it known that he wants to go by Gabriel, and then they put Gabe on the game ball?
  15. We have finally reached the point where even the games against the best opponents are "toss up" games at worst. There's no game in the league I wouldn't feel we have a great chance to win. Every week will be fun. I think we might end up 10-6 at worst, but it will be a MUCH stronger 10-6 than last year.
  16. It was worth it for 25 minutes of Manning talking about Allen.
  17. To be fair, I think the Cowboys and the Eagles are probably significantly better overall than the Jets and Dolphins, although you could argue that the Eagles and Dolphins are roughly equivalent. Cowboys definitely > Jets, though.
  18. McD is holding on Milano and Edmunds so McVay doesn't know how to prepare. Makes a huge difference. I bet they both play.
  19. These kinds of comments baffle me. It's only slightly less important in the event of a tiebreaker, which rarely actually comes into play. Otherwise, it's a W/L just like any other game.
  20. I feel like this is either going to be like the Eagles game from last year, or the Bills will come out with a good defensive plan and really take it to the Rams.
  21. He'll never be Gesicki... Not as tall and big. Grant, their McKenzie, is also noticeably faster than McKenzie. And we don't have a tough possession receiver like Parker.
  22. Trump's master strategy is to get a large segment of the population to falsely believe that any result that doesn't show him winning is illegitimate. After he loses the election, he will falsely claim that his loss is because of ballot fraud. He will then mount legal challenges in tightly contested states and drag them out with the goal of the Supreme Court, with its conservative majority, ultimately overriding the election results and keeping him in power despite his losing the election. This is the plan, and the best way to stop it is for him to be so soundly defeated that he has no ground to stand on. To be clear, here are the facts: Trump is losing and has been losing all year in all of the polls (yes, even Republican-leaning ones). Trump's campaign has admitted that they are looking for ways to get around the election results and keep him in power. (!) Trump has said publicly that any result that doesn't show him winning is illegitimate, a totally false claim. Trump has said publicly that he won't commit to accepting the election results or peacefully transferring power if he loses. These facts should scare you. They should spur you to action. What kind of country does this sound like? Republicans and Democrats alike must come together to preserve the United States and the promise of its future. We must stop this slide into unprecedented corruption. Our constitutional republic is teetering on the brink. On what basis do YOU measure public opinion? Why do you think the left's only chance is cheating? Do you just believe every conspiracy your liar-in-chief feeds you? Is that what you follow instead of polls?
  23. So ALL of the polls are wrong (by the way, they're way more consistent and Biden-leaning than they were in 2016), it's all a conspiracy, and the only hope the left has is cheating. Give me a break.
