Look, I'm as desperate as anyone else for the Bills to win. I want them to kick Tennessee's teeth in, and I think karma would like that as well. I'm just very uncomfortable with a lot of the overconfidence I'm seeing from Bills fans and just from fans around the league who are thinking there's going to be a big advantage for the Bills here. I just don't see that at all, and I'm afraid that it's going to be a big surprise to everyone if the Titans really get after us. I'm scared to death of "What happened to the Bills?" commentary the next morning.

Tasker agrees with me that the psychological aspect of this game is concerning. The Bills will have their hands full, and the Titans are likely to be charged up. Why would the line favor the Bills? The schedule change only benefits the Titans, and embattled teams usually respond extremely well in these situations. Bills fans are in for a rude awakening Tuesday night IMO.

I predict: The Tuesday night game will not be nationally broadcast, unlike the Patriots game. The Chiefs game will not be nationally broadcast and will not feature Buck/Aikman. So the Bills lose their big national night game vs. the Chiefs because of the Titans' negligence. Oh, and the Chiefs get extra rest.

Options I see: 1. Play on Monday or Tuesday, pushing Bills-Chiefs to Saturday night or Sunday 2. Create a Week 18 and play then 3. Suspend with indefinite "TBD" designation and see what other games get this same designation throughout year 4. Cancel outright, no forfeit 5. Forfeit (very unlikely) Options 1, 2, and 4 are unfair to the Bills. Option 5 is unfair to other teams. Therefore, I predict it will be option 3, minimizing immediate impact and waiting until we see what other games are similarly affected throughout the year. Of course, it could be argued that this is unfair to the Bills because they might have to play the Titans at full strength later rather than in a very weakened state now. As for paychecks if the game is canceled, I bet the Bills find a way to pay the players. Not their fault.

How many years in a row are we going to have to deal with extremely thin CB depth before this team starts carrying another corner? I have been complaining about this for 2 years. I don't understand why CB, one of the most important positions, is the one position they don't prioritize. 10 OL? Really?
