  1. McD came in as HC of the Bills with zero experience on the offensive side of the ball. He has never played or coached even a position group on the offensive side of the ball in his pro and college career. The fact that he was willing to be our acting DC shows his disconnection with the offense. You couldn't do that unless your focus was firmly on one side of the ball. He brought in Dabs and migrated from Dabs to Dorsey. So if you wish to credit him with what this iteration has become you also have to recognize he hired the coaches responsible for what it used to be. Perhaps what it became under them was a result of how little he was involved at that time. When it comes to Allen's development as a QB, footwork, accuracy, intelligence, I give McD almost no credit. I don't see a logical path to do so when it comes to the technical development of Josh the last few years. When it comes to Josh being on this team? Sure, McD had to contribute to that process. Allen wouldn't be a Bill if McD didn't agree with that path. Does it help Allen having the type of environment McD has provided? Structure, discipline? Sure it does. But winning also allows for those things to develop and you really can't separate Josh and our "winning" culture. Without Allen, this is likely a .500 team. If that is the case is this notion of culture building and nurturing the same? Finally, I do credit McD for the transition to Brady and what I think is a more balanced approach. If a time existed where I think McD did influence more I think it has been this year. From my lens, Brady was much more capable of his influence where Dabs might have said, ya, no thanks. We will do it my way. That direct line to Brady is why in part, I didn't really like the hire. I didn't want our OC to be so open to McD injecting wisdom as I knew Brady would have to be. As it stands right now I was wrong in that observation. Brady has been great and any influence McD has had on him has seemed to be very positive.
  2. We need a partner to this thread praising McD's defense.
  3. You're right, Brady and Josh sucked it up last week. Shame on them.
  4. They had 42 points and 521 yards.
  5. So weird that he's capable of both nothing for nearly the whole season and then pure dominance today. Then again we have seen AJ do that more than once.
  6. I know you felt the need to dunk on Johnson, but he just dunked on the Bills, so it's weird timing for the post. I'm saying give our guys what you just said and what happens? If your argument is strip him of all his toys and see what happens then my argument would be what in gods name would happen to us if Allen wasn't here? Both offenses balled out today. The post is just weird timing.
  7. An how would our guys do?
  8. Hmmmm, give Brady and Buffalo a stationary QB who has to stay within the play and then maybe we can talk about something. Half our offense doesn't even involve the original play call.
  9. I see you
  10. Was going to say. Pike, I believe, blew up the return man on that one. But this one the Lions did was just about perfect. That ball was loose in there for a bit.
  11. Wasn’t it McD who hired Dorsey?
  12. Ya, he got some help in being great today, it doesn’t always go like that. Knox had that huge catch. Cook a long TD run was very impressive. Ty Johnson made several very nice plays. Then we delivered elsewhere. Ed was great today as well, taking over the game.
  13. And what does the line look like without Allen’s mobility. He's a star, he’s our only star. It doesn’t work without him.
  14. Ed made a lot of plays, Johnson, Cook,Coleman, Brady called a good game. But at the end of the day, only Allen is getting us 7 points on the first drive and the drive before half. It’s much more than just that. So sure, none of it happens without him. Not sure why that would offend anybody.
  15. Lamar has something like 35 TD and 3 INT’s, it will probably be the best non MVP season ever statistically. But it’s Allen’s at this point. He’s putting this team on his back
  16. Really pretty design. That’s probably my favorite design this year from Brady
  17. Hollins plays 20 minutes, he talks ***** for 19:57 of them. I think the dude wakes up in the middle of the night to piss and starts talking *****.
  18. It’s that man they play, Jacksonville tried to do the same thing. Josh extends things too long to play man
  19. When has that decision been made in the last 20 years?
  20. Sure he’s done it but I don’t remember either
  21. 🤣 we have to be one of the only teams in NFL history in that spot that throw a screen
  22. It was never a decision to punt on a 52 yard field goal indoors
  23. No quarterback in NFL history is responsible for more off script production than Josh. He is a top 5 offense nearly by himself. Even better if you give him some help.
  24. 3 very obvious calls. Punch, DPI, and now the hold. Huge no calls.
