To me the worst possible position a franchise can be in is having a Dak or a Tua, where they're good enough to likely demand franchise money but they aren't in the Top 5 or so guys that can really change the outcome. Such a difficult spot for a team and so hard to handle it correctly. We saw Dak and Tua get the bag. Baker didn't, then Baker ends up doing what he did. To say we lucked out would be an understatement.

I'm thrilled he's the Dolphins starting QB. Just enough to lock them into purgatory forever.

This had nothing to do with it. You should try and get him. Milano was still recovering last year. You’re not bright to think a one year deal to Dallas is worth enough to move the needle. But his upside to us this season is strong.

The oldest guy on your list is AJ Brown and he's 28 and an absolute blue chip #1. Six of those players are 26 or younger. Terry will be 30 this year. It's not black and white to them. I agree you do the deal because they have a real chance this year but perhaps they don't have as much concern over the window they will have with Daniels being Year 2.
